My husband and I needed new professional photos and were recommended to Linda by our hair stylist. We received exactly what we needed but then oh so much more. Linda works out of her charming old home in Davidsonville and that is a wonderful aspect of the experience. Linda herself is simply delightful -- full of energy and passion for what she does. She met with us first to understand our needs and get to know us a little bit before the actual photo shoot. On the day of the shoot everything was well-coordinated and exceptionally efficient. We were in and out in an hour and each photo session lasted about 15 minutes. Her studio on the third floor of her home is filled with natural light and the photos turned out great. She reviewed the proofs with us immediately, and we were each able to select the two final images before we left. Within a few days she delivered the final products to us, and we were thrilled. From start to finish Linda made it a painless process. I went from initially dreading the entire experience to thoroughly enjoying it and emerging ecstatic that I had a flattering new professional photo to use. We will definitely use Linda again -- as soon as warmer weather arrives we'll have her come to our house to take some casual photos of my husband and me in our backyard.

We had a great experience with Linda at Visual Concepts Photography. We were taking part in the "Little Angels" Calendar fundraiser in support of the NICU & Mother/Baby Unit at AAMC. The AAMC NICU is something very near and dear to my heart and I think it is amazing that Linda helps with this fundraiser. She was very kind, warm, and understanding when my toddler was all over the place when we were reviewing the photos. The photo session review setup was top knotch. The photos were amazing. Had the best experience last week getting my daughters pictures taken for the Lil Angels calendar. We were in and out in under 30 minutes and thats great considering my daughter would of destroyed her nice layout if we had been in there for a long amount of time. A little on the pricy side but worth every penny when I saw how beautiful the pictures came out.

This morning we had the wonderful experience of having our son photographed by Linda McCarthy of Visual Concepts Photography as part of her incredible "Little Angels" Calendar fundraiser in support of the NICU & Mother/Baby Unit at AAMC. Linda was easy to reach in working out all of the details prior to today, and immediately responsive to all of our emails and questions. On first meeting her this morning, she was so warm and welcoming to all of us (me, my husband, and our baby). Linda's warmth and enthusiasm put our little boy at ease immediately, and he easily settled into his position for the photography session-- if you knew our little guy you would realize this was no small feat! He's a cheerful and playful little fellow, but he does indeed have some stranger anxiety at this age. I was a bit worried he'd be tense during the photo shoot (because of his own temperament), but I had no reason to be concerned because her interactions with him made him very comfortable around her! Something else that was significantly important to us is that in response to our communication regarding his motor delays, she took steps to make sure he'd be well-supported and comfortable for the session- everything was all set up and waiting for him when we arrived. We appreciated that so much! Linda captured gorgeous images of our son and a variety of expressions- there were so many to choose from that it was hard making final selections, but she was patient with us and we never felt rushed even as we changed our minds and tried different ideas. We also didn't feel any pressure to purchase anything- she was clear at the outset that it was optional (as the images were being taken for a fundraiser) and it was! We didn't get a hard sell from her....The images, however, sold themselves!! We look forward to receiving our prints and showing them off! Linda is kind, enthusiastic, and skilled. She clearly LOVES what she does!! We are impressed by her beautiful work and by her dedication and commitment to AAMC's NICU, a place that is special to us because of the time our son spent there. It is an honor to participate in this great cause, and it has been a true pleasure working with Linda!
