wow! kat is a true professional. warm, patient, and so talented. as my boys' photo shoot was one of my first outings (other than starbucks and the pediatrician!) with them, i was totally frazzled by the time i arrived at the studio with my 4 week old twins. kat and her assistant completely took over, encouraging me to rest and relax. as a new mom, i needed this more than i knew, and enjoyed lounging on a comfortable sofa in the beautiful light-filled studio. meanwhile, kat and her assistant soothed my boys, changed them when needed, and worked their magic. my little guy was a little (lot) fussy that day. i was worried that would happen! but kat was so patient and sweet with him. she was so flexible during our photo shoot. she went with the flow of our boys, and didn't try to force anything. this approach shows in her work. she went above and beyond all of my expectations to provide us with absolutely beautiful keepsakes. i would absolutely recommend her to other families. for our family, she anticipated the extra work that twins (or more) require, and thoughtfully had an assistant there the entire time. we were impressed every step of the way, and are so pleased with our finished products!

Kat, Sorry to resort to this mechanism of expressing our dissatisfaction but feel we have an obligation to warn others. North of $ 800 paid to you for prints and nothing to show for it (no receipts, no photos). Repeated attempts to contact you have been unsuccessful. So, to others - Caveat emptor! UPDATE: This unfortunate incident has been put to rest with receipt of our prints. Communication with KFP was challenging but ultimately successful.

It only took a few minutes into the shoot for me to dub Kat a "professional cutifier." She was amazing with our 1-week-old baby girl, and has a studio that couldn't be better setup for baby photography. I am a photographer myself and am quite picky, so I was a bit nervous to see how the shots would come out. Well, turns out I didn't have anything to worry about - they're phenomenal. We cherish the pictures she took of our daughter and of the three of us. Highly recommended.

Kat did a great job throughout the whole process. From our engagement pictures to our wedding. Kat was able to answer any questions or concerns that we had along the way. She even helped with clothing advise and options for my engagement pictures. On my wedding day we were running behind in setting up for the wedding and Kat along with her co-worker jumped right in to help finish the process. She truly is fantastic and her photos prove it!

She has the magic touch! I had a children's session with Kat and my kids (who are normally NOT interested in pictures) really came out of their shells! Kat knew just how to talk with them and play with them to get their real personalities to shine through in the photos! I was also so pleased with the products. They are really high quality and very beautiful. At the appointment to select my products, Kat was very accommodating in helping me decide which products I actually wanted - and even which I could live without - she had no interest in pressuring me into buying everything. She truly wanted me to get the products that I loved. She was also amazing at offering me a payment plan. I wanted more products than I could afford all at once and she offered a payment plan that was all dictated by me! I got to choose how much to pay, when to pay, and when I would finish paying for my products. Again - there was no pressure to pay a certain amount or to pay more than I could afford. And, even after I made a mistake with one of my products, she worked hard to get the problem fixed immediately and did it with a smile. (Even though, since it was my fault, she had no obligation to do so!) Overall, using Kat and Kat Forder Photography's services was an excellent decision and I can't wait to go back for my newborn photos next month to capture the newest addition to our family's first days!

Do not use this photographer. I was duped into thinking she was reasonably priced. Her prices were OUTRAGEOUS. I paid $212 for a session and have no pictures to show for it because of the pricing that was NEVER given to me up front. I explained to Kat that I am on a budget and she said she had packages as low as $125 + the $200 session few which is really $212 with tax and hidden fees. The $125 is for 1 DIGITAL PRINT! That’s right...1 PICTURE. Save yourself the agony and disappointment. I e-mailed her my frustration and disappoint and she has yet to respond. I do not have $200 to throw around and now I have to find another photographer. I am so upset over this. Do not use Kat Forder Photography. Update - Kat had the nerve to tell me that I didn’t have to buy any prints and that she is sorry her packages are out of my budget range. I told her that I wanted to pay around $300 and that her $500-1,000 range was too much. She made it sound like she was willing to work with me. Terrible Terrible. Again do not use this photographer.
