I recommend every woman should do this for themselves and i would use Shelly again .. because i know now what im getting into.. i am not happy with prices of the packages $1500 to $500 being the cheapest. I hope my pictures come out where I feel they are worth that much. I felt that she was professional and directed me well. Unfortunately i the second appointment just to view pictures Is an inconvenience where I live 2 hours away. I wish we can do it through email but whatever. I can only blame myself for not thoroughly investigating before making the appointment. Cross your fingers lets hope i feel these pics are worth it..

Worst experience with a “professional” we have ever had. There is absolutely NO information about how expensive the photos are after your session. She took money from my wife, then deleted her pictures, never providing any photos and refused to give her back the money she stole. Horrible person. Horrible experience. There are dozens of other people willing and able to provide the same service and not rob you at the same time.

Shelly makes you feel right at home right away. She gives clear and concise direction and positions your body to best suit your favorite features about yourself. She utilizes many sets and in her gorgeous, sun-filled studio to provide you with many options. After the shoot, I returned to the studio to view my images and I was absolutely blown away. I still can't believe how wonderful the photos turned out. Shelly walked me through all of the photos and helped me pick the ones for purchase. She was honest and helpful in helping me make the decisions on the photos that my husband will love. Shelly is immensely talented and it is very clear that she loves making women feel beautiful, inside and out. I highly recommend this amazing experience to anyone who wants to wow their significant other or feel amazing about themselves. I can't wait to work with her again! I had a great experience with Shelly! They give you a lot of information before you come in so you know what to expect and ideas for things to bring. When you arrive you are welcomed and can set out your outfits for Shelly to come up with some ideas. You can relax with a glass of wine while you are getting your makeup and hair done and I've never had a better makeover! I looked completely different, but not overly done. It was beautiful. The actual photo shoot was fun too! There are a lot of different sets with custom made furniture and Shelly walks you through all the poses so you just have to follow directions and she makes you look great. I never felt uncomfortable even though I've never done anything like this before. I was able to go back and view my images only a few days after the shoot and I couldn't believe my eyes! She had a few images touched up with different levels of correction to show me what they were like so I could pick what level I wanted. I kept asking if certain images were corrected and they weren't! She makes you look that good before the computer does its magic! There are many packages to choose from for every price point. You also can buy the rights to your photos if you want to make your own prints. The whole experience was terrific. I was very nervous to do something like this because it isn't something I would normally do, but I'm so glad I did it. I've never had a better self-esteem boost! I can't wait for my husband to see these photos!

I used Shelly Rose photography for a wedding present for my soon to be husband and as a treat to myself after a 65 pound weight loss. I did some research, but kept finding her name with good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. I liked how she gave great recommendations of outfits, what to expect, and helped calm your nerves before the shoot. Once I arrived, Shelly provided feedback on the outfits (which was helpful) and then did my hair and makeup. Once we started, Shelly did a great job directing me in all of the poses, which was really helpful. I recently saw the pictures, and they are beautiful! I can't wait to see the final copies. I like how you are able to give feedback on any photoshopping you want done as well, so if there are any areas that you are concerned with, you can provide your feedback. The pricing is definitely expensive, so know that going into it - but it's a special treat for a special occasion!

I laid my outfits out on the sofa and Shelly helped me pick out what would look best on me and then I put on a robe and Shelly did my makeup and hair. it looked great !! we then started the shoot with the first outfit that we picked. Shelly was so helpful with making me feel comfortable and beautiful. she gave me great direction on what she was looking for in the pose. she was very friendly, professional. when we were done we went over packages and prices. and what the next steps were I went back a few days later to see my proofs. they were beautiful. and Shelly helped me pick out my favorite ones. she didn't make me feel rushed we took our time and chatted while going over all of the options she has available. I would recommend her for any type of photos.

Unfortunately I can’t recommend Shelly Rose Photography. I bought the Black Friday deal for the supermodel package. I scheduled my appointment and asked about pricing of the photos and was told we would go over options at the session but there were options for every price point (not being up front should have been my first warning). When I arrived I was welcomed by Kristen and offered wine or water. Kristen was great and very kind. I was told to lay out outfits and Shelly would be right in. She came in awhile later and went through my outfits. She told me to go change into one right away. She didn’t do hair or makeup first or make me feel comfortable at all before changing. When I came back out she had me put on a robe (why not let me put it on before?) and started my hair and makeup. She asked questions nonstop and would ask the same question multiple times. It seemed like she was trying to get to know me at points but then totally fake at other points. We got started and she did a good job guiding me and making me feel comfortable. The one odd thing was when she wanted me to smile she would just say: “laugh! Think of something and laugh!” Overall, the shoot itself was okay. It was fun at points. After, she had me get dressed and said she would go over packages. I was shocked when the first package she talked about was nearly $1500. I’m a teacher, that’s more than my paycheck. The cheapest option she offered at that point was $500. She scheduled another appointment with me for the following week to go over packages and look at the pictures. I emailed her later asking if there were any cheaper options and mentioned it would be nice to be aware of the prices beforehand. She emailed back saying the cheapest option was $350 for 4 pictures and stating “I’m sorry you didn’t ask about the prices”. I did ask, but info was not provided. Overall I just can’t recommend Shelly Rose. I wasted a whole day and $125 on the shoot and am getting no pictures.

Had a good time and felt comfortable, which I didn't think I would. Was a little shocked at the package pricing but hey, you only live once. I think it'll be a great Christmas present for my boyfriend!

I had a photo session with Shelly a few years ago! I was super nervous about doing the photo shoot! Once I arrived I was brought upstairs to the room. She did my makeup and hair and got me all dolled up. She asked me who I was doing the shoot for where I simply replied, I’m doing it for myself. I did it for myself as a confidence booster. She made me feel super comfortable! I felt super relaxed being there and she made sure I was comfortable In the poses she had me in! I highly recommend working with her! This was one of the best experiences I have had! I hope to do one again soon!
