We've had Bob take our family portrait and he also took our daughter's senior portrait photos this year. We couldn't be happier! It is so worth the money to have photos professionally done. Bob has an incredible talent with the camera, and his skill at getting people to pose (attractively) are amazing. His attention to detail makes an enormous difference. He's also great with getting everyone, even little ones, to look at the camera at the same time ~ something that we parents of multiple kids know can be nigh to impossible.

Last Summer our complete 3 generation family was able to gather together for the first time at our favorite place - Kennebunkport, ME. We decided to celebrate the occasion by getting some professional photographs taken on the beach. Based on a recommendation, we contacted Robert Akers Photography. Not only were they very responsive, friendly and accommodating with our requested dates/times, they were super professional and delivered outstanding service the day of the shoot. We had a fairly large group with some young kids who were difficult to manage, but Bob was clearly experienced and was able to get some amazing shots despite the challenge. He set some creative scenes, shot each immediate family in different configurations and really worked the lighting professionally. The ordering process went smoothly and he was quick to correct a mistake in one of the photo sizes by shipping a reprint at his expense.
