Our most recent session—there have been 15+ in the last five years—was for family photos, and once again ESP over-delivered. The sets were flawless, the time spent at the studio was enjoyable, and the photos we chose to order from the many proofs arrived on-time, perfectly edited. From our engagement shoot to now our first photos as a “family of three,” we couldn’t be more pleased to have chosen ESP to capture all of our biggest life-moments.

We have been getting pictures done with Eye Sugar for years now, and we love them. They always get our kids to smile, and come up with creative backgrounds. They are super flexible, and offer lower priced packages for special events for people on a budget. My friends always ask where I got the pictures done when they come over.

My family and I had a horrible experience with this studio. They told us they had experience shooting families on the beach and had no problem adding pets. They booked a location that didn't allow pets. Then offered another session for an additional charge. They wouldn't let us see the photos online without paying ahead of time. When we did see the photos they told us they would adjust the skyline that was completely gone from the lightening. When we received the proofs for the images we agreed to purchase they said they actually couldn't do this. Overall - we were constantly reminded how busy they are with bigger projects. We paid nearly $1,000 and don't have a great result.

If you want a photographer who will come late, leave early and be rude to your family, then by all means, Eye Sugar is for you. If you want a photographer who is disrespectful when family members ask for certain photos, then by all means, Eye Sugar is for you. If you want a photographer who will ignore your letter about how you felt about the photography shoot and not respond, then by all means, Eye Sugar is for you. Their staff and the owner was extremely rude to my sister and I, the aunts of the bride. We couldn't figure out why she and her staff ignored our requests and waved us off at every turn. Once my niece returned from her honeymoon I asked if she felt there was anything wrong about the way the photograph sessions went before, during and after the wedding. I paid for my niece's wedding and paid $5000 so I felt I deserved some answers. Only then did my niece tell me that they came late and left early. It all made sense. The photographers were stressed because they were late and then they took it out on us and other guests. As a result. the bride's side of the family, my brother is the father of the bride, have absolutely no photos to speak of. No photos with the bride and groom - except one. No photos of my brother, sister and I. No photos of my husband and I with the bride and groom. We would have, if we ordered, which we're not, the smallest wedding album in the history of weddings. Much to our dismay and especially to the bride and groom's, Eye Sugar left early so there are no photos of the after party. When she came over to the table, I said, oh you're here for our table photo. She replied rudely, no and walked away. I was appalled and hurt by her behavior. Couldn't figure out what was going on. Now I know that they were stressed and took it out on us. The table photos are ridiculous and everyone noticed that she only photographed one half of the room at the tables. And guess, what, ours was not included. I wrote to Eye Sugar early winter, a few months ago, and complained about the hostility we faced after the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, during dinner and during the reception. Given how we were treated, it's no surprise that they did not reach out to us. Guess their not big on customer service or trying to resolve issues. The owner told my niece that she would send 8 photos to me - 4 for me and 4 for my sister - and guess what, months later, we're still waiting. The photography the day of the wedding was and continues to be disastrous for us. Bad feelings all around - no response from them - our family can never ever get that beautiful day back and that is unforgivable and reprehensible. So, by all means, if this is the kind of treatment and distress you'd like to encounter at your wedding, hire Eye Sugar as they will disappoint you as they did us.

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Shalla and Megan at Eye Sugar Photography!!! You both are perfect models for how to have great relationships between photographer and clients. My husband, who hates getting his picture taken, felt very relaxed with Shalla on our anniversary shoot. My parents felt the same about how easy it was to have family portraits taken and Shalla was able to capture the relationship I have with my parents during the Mother's Day shoot! Megan and Shalla, I have to personally thank you for making the birthday boudoir session a hit. You answered every tiny question any of my girls and I had without us feeling silly for asking!! Shalla, the level of professionalism you showed during our sessions made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable when they weren't totally comfortable in their own skin! Every single one of us said that we will do this again someday. So thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

We received a gift card from our friends to do baby photos. The photo shoot went well, but the prices are rediculous. We could only buy one digital photo, with the $200 gift card, when all was said and done because 1 digital photo costs $100. They also mess with the image so that the pixels are smaller so for $100 you can only print up to an 8x10. I think they charged $200 per digital photo for unlimited sizes. We tried to see if we could come to a middle ground, but they were not willing to budge on pricing or accomodate us. Instead they just quoted their poicies over and over, not helpful. We never even got a photo because the entire experience was just ruined because of their poor customer service.

Shalla took the best head shot of me ever. She had been contracted to take head shots at the Granite State HR Conference in Manchester. I walked in, two minutes were done, and she captured 10 images of which it was hard to select from five of them. I can't imagine what magic would be possible in a studio setting. She is the person I am referring anyone looking for head shots.

We had the pleasure of meeting the ladies at Eye Sugar 7 years ago when we were looking for a wedding photographer. Upon meeting Shalla and Megan we instantly connected and knew they were the perfect fit for us. Little did we know that they would become such a special part of our lives. We booked Shalla for our wedding and had an engagement session done. They made our save the dates and also created our wedding invitations! While most of our fellow newlywed friends had to wait months and months for their pictures, we received ours quickly. They also saved us on our wedding day, as our wedding coordinator was a no show. The gals showed up early to scope out areas for group/individual pictures and then also assisted in guiding us through our timeline on our big day. They were lifesavers!!!! We always talk about how they stepped in and helped facilitate one of the most important days in our life. They took a great amount of time to patiently help us choose photos to create our wedding album and pick out canvases for our home. The quality is hands down, top notch. When we found out we were expecting, we immediately contacted them (Even before some of our family members knew!) to do a baby announcement. They did my maternity session and made me feel so comfortable and confident with my body. It was great to have such an intimate shoot and be in such a positive environment. We had our daughters newborn, 6 month, 1 year and Fairy Day photos taken, too. We look forward to booking many more sessions over the years with Eye Sugar to capture our special family moments. I think every room in our house has at least one picture hung that they have taken and we always receive compliments on how beautiful they are. I can confidently say we are lifelong clients and so thankful to have such a talented team to work with!

She masterfully navigated the hundred and fifty something shots until we had it narrowed down to 45 final images. Aside from the professionalism, the quality of prints are exceptional as well. Definitely worth the money spent as these memories will last forever. We have a canvas, storyboard and prints from the engagement shoot, a gorgeous photowrap boudoir book, beautiful prints from the maternity and the deluxe newborn package which included everything from birth announcements to digital rights to a photo box, photowrap book, canvas and more! Next month we are going back for our little one's 3 month photo shoot and will also be doing 6 month, 9 month and 1 year shoots. For baby number 2, we'll do it all over again. We will only use Eye Sugar Photography for any of our photography needs!

I come from a family of professional shutterbugs and have been a Creative Director and Marketer for more than 14 years. I am hard pressed to think of any who have a better value for this level of skill and they are amazing with families.

We have be coming to Shalla at Eye Sugar Photography for at least the last four years. She has photographed my 3 daughters on dozens of occasions. With some of the sessions I have come in knowing what I'm looking for (e.g., single photos, group photos, newborn photos, which sets/backgrounds I want) but more often than not, I release my girls to the hands of Shalla, Megan, and Lydia for them to work their magic. This dynamic team makes for a seamless session starting with their excited arrivals & greetings, getting the girls settled and comfortable, styling (YES, Shalla has the MOST AMAZING hair pretties, tu-tus, hats, jewels, accessories for girls and boys!) to the actual photo session. My girls are spread out in age (16, 7, and 3) so there is always one who is a little more challenging to get that perfect photo. Shalla and her ladies pull out all the stops and somehow always capture the most beautiful moments. I have always gotten the most amazing individual and group photos, however, some of my most favorite photos are those showing the more serious side/personalities that come out in the moment. Getting photos done with children and whole families can be stressful and overwhelming but Shalla and her team always make it so much fun. My girls are constantly asking to go play at Shalla's studio. They love it there! The environment is like no other studio I've ever been to (indoors or outdoors) and the sets they create are just amazing. Shalla and her team are very talented and truly love what they do and it comes through in their work. The online ordering process is easy and convenient too...and Megan and Lydia do a fantastic job walking you through the process. I really can't say enough great things about Eye Sugar Photography...other than I need to book another session soon!

Let me count all the ways we LOVE ESP!! Honestly thought where shall I begin? The ever so beautiful (both inside and out) Shalla picked our family 4 years ago to us to gift a family photo session (a friend entered us, we were unaware and so grateful for this gift). Let me tell you that we were absolutely blown away by how incredibly amazing Shalla’s work is. She is beyond talented and we are ever so grateful for her hard work and creativity. Then at a later date I was at a charity event when I saw Shalla was at it again. Shalla had gifted a photo session to the auction and I just had to bid on it, and I won!! We had another incredible photo session with such treasured photos. Then this past year my son was admitted to Boston Children’s as he had to wait inpatient for a full heart transplant. We didn’t know what the outcome would be, and we knew we’d be waiting for a while. Shalla to our amazement reached out and asked to GIFT another photo shoot, this time in the hospital. Not knowing if my son would make it out or not, I was embarrassed I hadn’t thought of it. She refused compensation. I was, as I always am with her work, overwhelmed with her extra kindness (She had never met us before picking us for a gifted session mind you). Shalla came to Boston Children’s for the day, spent hours that day in our hospital room capturing my son. She really gets to know your family and you can tell how invested and passionate she is. Shalla then gave us ALL of the photo’s she took of our son that day, they brought tears to my eyes. We are delighted to say our son received the gift of life and we are now home. Shalla, once again reached out to do our first Christmas session with his new heart. The talent she has, the gifts she’s given our family that’ll be cherished for a lifetime. I just can’t say enough wonderful things about Shalla or ESP. You don’t often meet so much talented with an over sized heart like she has. She has captured the most amazing photos of our son, and our family in both our happiest moments and our scariest moments that are worth more than gold. We are blessed for all of her hard work, kindness, gentle ways, creativeness and abundance of generosity. Thank you Shalla and ESP for all that you’ve done for our family.
