I wish I could share more of an experience, however I only visited this store for a total of 47 seconds. I placed my order online and choose the pick up in store option. It was fast, convenient and super easy. The cashiers were personable and friendly in the quickest fashion ever. Overall, a lovely experience.

I understand accidents happen, but: Since they were out of stock for an expensive camera I was buying, they had to order it. When i came back to store to pick up order that was supposed to be guaranteed in they realized the employee charged me without making the actual order! I then waited 25 min. Est. For them to sort things out to have them tell me they cannot properly order me the camera because warehouse is out of stock. So, they gave me a refund which I will wait few days to come back to me!

My one yr. old phone is acting up, I have a 'Geek Squad' service contract for it, so I went to Best Buy to see if they could give me any help. The Geek Squad person, rather than taking 3 - 4 minutes to answer some questions about the phone, insisted I make an appointment and come back the next day (even though he was standing around playing with HIS phone). I did get answers from the very helpful salesmen who work in the phone part of Best Buy.

No wonder they are all closing!!!!!!!! Spent 500$ on a special red dead redemption game and ps4 pro bundle this place wouldn't allow us to keep the game given there won't be another one available for over a month! The ps4 console wouldn't even take the disc its useless as a bundle! Sold us just a ps4 pro for the same exact price without the game! Also that exchange took like over 30 minutes and 3 different people! Place is a joke!!!!

Make sure if you go into buy anything that you do your own extensive research on what your looking for. I bought a smart watch and was misinformed and almost wasted $400. Don't trust employees word alone, look into whatever your buying ahead of time. I gave 3 stars cause they were apologetic and took back the item.

Everything is mostly over priced compared to other places. Also not one associate asked us if we needed help finding anything. We went to look for for a child's learning tablet to only find out they had zero. Yea they have decent prices on TVs but that's about all they are good for

It's christmas and they literally went out of their way to help me hide my kids gifts by wrapping them in paper. Also the manager took the items out into the parking lot and put them in our truck. Also have me my discount from my email. I really appreciated the extra attention and help. Awesome!

Offers “Same Day phone Screen repair” read the fine print. Don’t try to do it on a Friday. And hopefully there isn’t a phone before you. Also don’t expect that just because you have an appointment, it’s going to happen that day either. Just hold your breath, cross your fingers, leave your phone behind, and hopefully by the day after, someone had a chance to fix it. Was there 20 minutes early for my appointment, got told I could leave my phone if I wanted. And out of the managers moth “ Well your appointment was at 5, so it takes about 4 hours to do a phoneC so he probably wouldn’t get to finishing it tonight anyway” SO WHY OFFER THE APPOINTMENT TIME FOR SAME DAY REPAIR!?!?

Do your homework BEFORE coming here! In every way I recommend this best buy, but unfortunately, I've gotten false information 9 times of 11 so far this year. Luckily, I'm a tech, so only caused minor issues and returns. If you live away from augusta, make sure your questions are answered before your patronage here.

It should be called the Only Buy not Best Buy. Where else in Maine can we buy electronics? I found the place overall disappointing. I wanted to upgrade my stereo speakers and buy larger speakers and the sales help tried to talk me out of them. Then I was told they'd come in 3 to 5 days and it took 2 weeks. Both speakers arrived damaged and had to be sent back. I was so very disappointed in this store. And I'm not even sure if it was stores fault,or managements fault, or shipping and receiving fault. Very frustrating not very good bye!

Best buy seems to have those electronic products that nobody else does and oftentimes run sales on products they do not even stock. This is frustrating when you drive 50 miles.

Inaccurate listings on their website, failed to price match with an Amazon listing, although it was a third party. Drove over an hour when I saw the price listing. While I did leave with a similar product, it was severely inferior in quality and performance, the present collection of parts not having variety. I did leave almost satisfied with my purchase. I regret that I had to leave with the product I left with, but necessity demanded it.

Went to buy a laptop. Was looking at them for 20 minutes. A salesman next to the computers was very busy answering question for a couple. Paying them the attention they required. Several salesman walked past me. 2 of them walked by me several times talking to each other. A couple of salesmen went buy carrying product, helping other people. Not one of them ask if I needed go or offered to find help for me. When I left the store I stopped to ask the man in the yellow shirt if the people in blue shirts were sesman. Just barley looking up from his computed he nodded yes. I said well you list a sale, he made like it made no difference weather they made a sale or not. He never asked if he could help be just went back to his computer. Unless I know what I am going I will not Shop there again. Because you won't find anyone to answer any questions, Wal-Mart has better service.

Not friendly and don't bother calling because their default is to say they have no one to help you and then transfer you to an outsourced call center where trying to get answers to anything is a nightmare. A bunch of used car salesman, that what best buy employees are. Their selection has dwindled over the years and their prices are a joke, they won't be around forever.

I have never experienced such poor customer service. We had purchased online, paid over $600 & I drove an hour w/ my boys to pick it up. The sales clerk asked for my license. I provided that. He asked for a manager. The sales clerk said to the manger we can’t let these go. I asked what the issue was... as I paid for these items. He stated I wasn’t Cara Gaffney. I stated I was her husband & I drove an hour to pick these up. (We’ve purchased two TV’s & a bunch of other items from this location.) The manager said, “We can cancel out your order & you can purchase them on your credit card”. What? At that point I said it’s a $600 sale, already paid for.. just cancel the order & we will purchase the items somewhere else & we you’ve lost our business. They were ok with that. My wife called the store & asked for the store manager. She was told the store manager wasn’t available. She than explained what happened & the clerk was pretty un customer service oriented to put it nicely. Note: read your reviews, work on your customer service.... as we will not be purchasing from Best Buy going forward.

Tried to do a iPhone cracked screen repair with Geek Squad. Never again. Had a 7pm appointment and from out of town. 7pm was the earliest appointment so I wanted to swing by the store and drop off the phone and the big guy in the geek squad, who by the way had no customers in the store, said sorry cannot drop off and cannot accommodate me and drop off. Said come back at 7pm. Was not a friendly experience at all. Luckily there is a Staples right next door so I went there and they were very accommodating for their customer. The manager was outstanding and they even were running a discount. Best Buy could learn some customer services skills from them or they will continue to fail. Will never attempt to use the geek squad for anything they have proven that they do not care about the customer. Sad because Best Buy used to be better. Only takes one bad experience for a customer to be lost forever. One last thing I got a text at 6pm that they would not be able to drop off at 7pm because they had no one that could do the repair at that time. I would have wasted an entire day waiting for nothing. It was their appointment they schedule then canceled. Get your act together because you are failing.

Bought a Tv from here when there was a decent sale. It's a good tv and I still use it but didnt find out until a few months later the reason it was so cheap was because it had a really really thin crack in the screen. It's not really visible so it's not a huge deal, and I always get my speakers and headsets and headphones here. So no other complaints because they always treat me like family here too

Went for a screen protector for my phone. There are a dozen different racks with phone cases. Some had signs indicating they were iPhone or Samsung, but most racks still had an assortment of brands regardless of the brand that was indicated. Ended up leaving without even finding a case for my phone

Okay I've gone shopping at best buy a few times lately. No complaints about my purchases that I spent a lot of money on. However I think I'll take my money elsewhere next time. I talked to a dark haired heavy set woman at the service desk and she had to have had the rudest, attitude I've been around in a long time. Talking down to your customers when you don't know what your talking about isn't good for business. I kept trying to explain my situation and she continued to be rude and cut me off before I even finished, before she could understand what I was trying to explain to her. My husband had a similar experience with an older overweight lady the next day being rude and seemed annoyed to be there. All the guys we talked to were very nice. Someone should really have a talk with some of the women employees about being polite to the customers. Smiling once in a while instead of scowling would be helpful as well :)

After two horrible shipment experiences with Home Depot, we decided to purchase our next appliance from Best Buy even though it was a tad bit more expensive. The delivery was A WORLD of difference. They arrived on time, put our appliance in the right place inside the house, unpacked it, made sure it was working, and were incredibly kind and efficient. Home Depot just lost a customer-- I will now be purchasing my appliances from Best Buy! Kudos to you guys!

My wife and I both agree that we made the right choice choosing Best Buy for our new appliance purchases. Although we made our appliance purchases at the Portland, ME location, we dealt with the Augusta, ME delivery and installation staff. They were great: courteous, timely, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed. We did have an issue with the contracting company they use to install dishwashers, but when we went to the store the team leader actually called the company herself and argued for and supported us to get things straightened. I would highly recommend strongly considering Best Buy over their competitors for appliances even if the pricing is a little steeper. I believe you'll find the experience to be much more pleasant. You get what you pay for with Best Buy.

I supposedly had set up an appointment about 9 days ago when I purchased the equipment in person not on the phone. When I got there to have my remote start installed in my car I was not on the schedule. This obviously did not make me very happy. But they were very helpful when I was trying to return a product that I bought in Portland and exchange it for a different brand. Very friendly. The best buy return policy is very accommodating. They had what I wanted. Not the best quality and not that much variety specifically for this product but it was adequate for my needs. The store is conveniently located amongst several other commonly visited retail outlets. Inside the store is well organized and very clean and neat on this particular day was very well staffed and the staff was very helpful.
