I’ve been waiting to write Amy a review because I wanted to include things about all my experiences with her. First, she did a maternity shoot for my husband and I. She was so accommodating for us and she made us both feel so comfortable. Many times it can feel awkward doing those types of pictures, but neither one of us felt awkward at all, and our maternity pictures came out beautifully! After my daughter was born, Amy came to the hospital and did some “fresh 48” photos. She was so patient and knew exactly what she was doing in the way she handled our newborn and took these precious photos for us. I will cherish those forever. Finally, today we had our newborn session with Amy in her studio. I can’t say enough about how wonderful of an experience it was. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable throughout the session, and again, it was amazing to see her handling the baby with such care but also so professionally in order to get the very best images of her. I am truly amazed with how much talent Amy has, and I highly recommend her to anyone that may be searching for someone to capture sweet moments in life like these. I plan to keep bringing my daughter back to Amy so that we always have beautiful images of her as she grows older! Thank you again, Amy, for everything!

Amy is absolutely amazing! Our newborn pictures came out STUNNING! During our session, Amy was so patient with our newborn baby and took time to make sure every single detail was perfect. She is definitely a calming nature for new parents when it could be a very stressful situation. She is so kind and great with the children on top of being an excellent photographer. The lighting, poses, and quality are just top notch! Cannot recommend her enough!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Amy! I contacted Amy for pricing for birth photography about a month before my due date. I told her I would contact her after a later ultrasound to confirm my c section date which was supposed to be 2 weeks after the scan. We were surprised to hear our doctor tell us we were coming in the following morning for a c section. I immediately called Amy (after 7PM) to see if she was available the following morning. She was not only available for us at the last minute, but she was such a calming presence on the phone. She explained more about what would happen the following day than the staff at the hospital did. I was a little nervous to meet Amy for the first time an hour before the biggest moment of my life, but when my husband and I met her, we felt like we been friends our entire lives. She made us feel so relaxed in pre-op, and we didn’t even notice she was in the operating room, yet she captured the most precious moments. Not only is Amy a wonderful person who truly cares about her clients, her photographs are unbelievable. We are so lucky to have had her document our sweet rainbow baby’s birth! I can’t wait for Amy to continue to photograph our family for years to come!

Amy has an innate ability to "capture the moment" with babies. After seeing the pictures of my newborn granddaughter, I was blown away with Amy's extraordinary talent. Amy is a fabulous photographer and a wonderful, caring person who will connect with you, your little one, and your family! My husband and I hired Amy for "Delivery" and "Fresh 48" pictures even though we at first were hesitant about having a photographer with us at one of our most intimate moments in our family's life. Beforehand Amy made sure we were comfortable and she actually became a magnificent advocate in the hospital giving us helpful pointers and tips since we were first time parents. She balanced capturing the right moments but giving us some privacy as a new family flawlessly. Amy captured the birth of our daughter via C-section, my husband announcing to the family the gender, and our family meeting our daughter and learning her name for the first time beautifully. These pictures are absolutely priceless and I cherish them! She took candid and posed pictures and captured our sweet daughter's littlest features perfectly. I can't tell you how many times I've looked at these pictures and my daughter isn't even 4 months old yet! I am so thankful that we found Amy to capture these moments in time and the attention to detail in her editing process that comes through in the pictures! We also hired Amy to do a "Newborn" session with precious pictures of our girl individually, as well as pictures with mommy, daddy, and our new family. Amy truly is magical with newborns in the way she carefully holds, poses, and works with them in a delicate manner. I was amazed at her level of professionalism in her studio and wowed by how many options for backdrops and outfits she had to select from. In addition, Amy was able to incorporate some special requests for poses or styles of pictures that we were looking for. We were so pleased with our newborn experiences with Amy that we ended up booking her for her "Grow with Me" series so that we can have more pictures as our daughter reaches first year milestones. Amy is quick to respond to requests, flexible with scheduling sessions, and makes sweet gestures to show her appreciation for your business. For instance, Amy sent a photo ornament of our daughter with a thank you card before Christmas which was not expected but certainly appreciated. Through these experiences, Amy has become not only our family photographer, but a thoughtful and trusting friend. We highly recommend Amy and know that she will be capturing our family for years to come.

I loved every part of my experience with Amy and her pictures are amazing! She captured my son's newborn pictures exactly how my husband and I imagined them. When you get to her home studio, you are immediately drawn to all of the fun props, blankets, colors and backdrops she has to work with. She has extensive knowledge of infant safety so I felt totally confident in her ability to take great pictures that were also safe for my baby. I can't recommend her enough!!

Amy Milam is such an angel. She is such a talented, professional, kind-hearted, and creative photographer. She goes above and beyond for her customers.
