I have had the pleasure of using Shades of Gray Photography for various shoots for 2.5 years now. Shades of Gray Photography has done numerous family shoots for me as well as my son's newborn shoot. For every single shoot the owner, Briana, was extremely kind, energetic and fun to work with. She had amazing ideas on how to best capture my family's best interactive moments. I have three small children and sitting in a room staring at a camera saying "cheese" does not work for us. Briana has the unique ability to capitalize on little kids energy and turn their special moments into works of art. Shades of Gray Photography also uses so many different locations so that each time we do a shoot we are able to get a completely different "look". Before, during, and after the photo shoot Shades of Gray Photography is nothing less then extremely professional. The owners strive to keep in constant communication to book and schedule the shoot. I have also received the pictures from each shoot in a very timely manner. Shades of Gray also offers many different ways to have your photo presented. They can get acrylic prints, canvas prints, wooden prints and so on. I love seeing the different ways that I can decorate my house with family photos rather then just typical prints. I currently have one of each of these type of prints in my home and I love them all. I love having these options available to me. Overall, Shades of Gray is a great choice when choosing a company to capture your family's memories. I have experienced nothing but the best customer service and the finest photos from Briana and Phil Gray. I will continue to use them for all my future photo shoots!

We used the Grays for our October wedding in Kansas City. Ten days out, the forecast called for rain. The Grays were calm and confident the whole time that no matter what the weather did, everything would be okay. The day of, we changed our schedule due to the rain and the Grays, without any issue, captured every picture with every person and group we wanted. We could not have been happier with our results. And we got awesome umbrella shots :)

Phil and Briana are the most wonderful people around! They did both our engagement shoot and the day of our wedding! We got married in the morning and they were at the salon at 6 am with me and my bridesmaids. They made us feel so comfortable during all the shoots and helped to make our day so special. We have so many AMAZING pictures from our day and so many pictures that I wouldn’t have even thought to ask. They do an awesome job of taking bridal party and family photos during the day and kept everything moving and on schedule. My daughter chose Briana and Phil as her wedding photographers and it was a great choice! She loved the idea of a husband and wife team. Since she did not want to see her future husband before walking down the aisle, having a husband and wife team worked out perfectly. Phil photographed the guys before the wedding and Briana was with all the ladies. The pictures of the wedding are nothing short of amazing! They captured every single moment of the day.
