HORRIBLE PHOTOGRAPHERS!! TOOK PICTURES FOR MY DAUGHTERS SENIOR PHOTOS AND RUSHED THROUGH THEM EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO LINE. THE PHOTOGRAPHER MISSED THAT MY DAUGHTERS EARRING HAD FALLEN OUT AND WAS IN HER HAIR AND THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR HER PHOTOS TO BE RE TAKEN AND OR IF I WANT THEM RETOUCHED TO COVER UP THE MISTAKE THE PHOTOGRAPHER DID!!! WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO DOING YOUR JOB CORRECTLY! WILL NEVER ORDER OR DO PHOTOS THROUGH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I’m very upset with my senior pictures, they look horrible and the background is really bad, the angles don’t look good at all. I’ve been wanting to get a Retake before the school year begins, so that I can have my picture for the yearbook. I’ve emailed 3 times and have called millions of times to be able to reschedule since in their options to make the appointment apparently there is no days available for retakes or to take pictures.Literally they chose the cheapest and worst place to take pictures, and it’s not like they are free, it is SUPER EXPENSIVE for really bad quality, I should of just taken the pictures with my iPhone. The worst part of this is that other students are able to access the pictures with just putting their ID, they should make this more private because honestly I’m embarrassed of the pictures they took, and I will ask for them to be removed from the website.

every spring photo, my son gets posed like a little girl. i know they know how to pose boys i see it in other boys photos. I almost wonder if they know how to work with special needs kids

I've had my first experience with this studio as they did my child's school pictures. I was so excited to receive them but they were terrible. It was a simple head shot and she was not posed at all. Her shoulders were high, head tilted back and a fake smile. I'm glad I got the cheapest package but it was still a waste of a few bucks. Not ever getting the school photos again as long as this is the best Raytown can do.

My kids have had their school photo taken by Rolland for what now is the 5th year. And for the 5th year, I continue to be disappointed. Their photographers are very unprofessional and the color quality is poor. This year, they took my daughter's picture before she was ready. When she asked for a retake at that time, the photographer got irritated with her and refused; told her to get out of the chair. She also asked to see the photo and was denied. When we got the proof back, she had one eye closed! In the yearbook pages, all the kids heads are different sizes and obviously taken from different distances. All I can say is, they are consistently poor. Don't waste your money on paying for these pictures.

I worked for this company for about 2 months & it was a living nightmare-to say the least. The only manager is also the president of the company. There is no HR department to file concerns or complaints to besides the Secretary & even then you fear retaliation. Their hiring add states 20-24$ per hour, & then they only pay you 12$ per hour. The manager is rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional & almost creepy. I felt extremely uneasy being around him alone. The comments that were not only said to me, but to the teenage girls we photographed in high schools were EXTREMELY inappropriate. There is no social life outside of this job. They will not work with you to incorporate another part time job either as they only send out the schedule the day before the new week starts. I have been in the photography industry for many many years & I have worked at a number of studios, & this company is by far the worst place I have ever worked for. The only good I left this situation with was a hand full of good friends whom I still keep in contact with.

I have been in 3 different states, 4 different cities. And let me say, this is the WORST I've EVER seen working with a school!!!! Not only are their prices over priced but the quality is TERRIBLE!!!! I have spent over $500 for some great photos, and this company will not even wait to see if you are looking!! The WORST I say, the worst!!! I will NEVER purchase photos from them. And it's sad because they could make good money from me, since I have 5 sweet babies, and want to capture EVERYTHING from them, but they did not even wait to see if my child was looking to capture the photo......

They are rude!!! I order my son school picture online and they sent me last year school picture( I already have it why would I buy another one!) So I call them and they tell it's my fault and they can't and won't send me the right picture unless I pay another 23 dollars???!??!?

The manager/owner is obtuse, and has horrible management techniques. I worked for Steve. It was a horabul work explains rolland Studio. We had a problem with a customer at one of the schools that we worked at, not receiving their pictures from last year. I brought this to Steve's attention and he said that he would find out what the whole story was. She had said no one returned her calls or even helped her. he then said it was probably someone just trying to get free photos. At another school we where photographing teenagers with little to nothing on, witch Made the girls very uncomfortable. They had to take off their shirts wearing just a bra and with a little shawl that we provided over them. I find that to be completely inappropriate, I couldn't imagine being one of those poor girls. He is varry creepy in many ways. one of my fellow co-workers had complained of Steve standing too close to her while training. He is rude and very unprofessional. I would never suggest anyone working for this company. Yes I was let go from this company and I would have quit if I have not been fired first. Steven written me an email and giving me the following reasons why I was let go. One of the following reasons was because I did not want to use the mouth instead of the mouse pad on the laptop. The other one was I was told not to look through the viewfinder while taking a picture, anyone that knows anything about photography knows that you must look through the viewfinder to take a picture. The other reason is you said I was unplantable. I work for other photography companies in the past and I have experience and as well as taking my own photos. I think that his work up ethnic is absolutely horrible. His company needs to be reported the way the businesses being run.

UPDATE: after contacting customer service, they said they will do some touch ups to fix the hair and other issues. So going from 1 star to 3 for customer service being awesome... will update again when I see the final product!!! Photographers at the schools apparently do not have children. They barely get the. Seated before taking the picture and do not care about a child getting their glasses on or fixing their hair. Yearbook photos are forever!!!

This place is HORRIBLE! I just received my sons Kindergarten pictures back and it's like they didnt even care. He wasnt smiling its like they took one picture and didnt even try to make him smile or work with him.. Pure laziness! I was going to see if they would do retakes but after the horrible reviews I'm reading it doesnt sound promising. They don't even deserve 1 star!

No le doy la punta de la estrella porque no se puede ,el estudio fue a la escuela de mi hijo a tomar las fotos de primavera, pero para mi sorpresa la posición en que puso a mi hijo varon parecía una niña posando,el material del papel se ve de buena calidad pero es lo único positivo que puedo decir de las fotos...

This doesn’t even deserve one star. Not only were the fall and spring pictures terrible, my poor son brought home the worst yearbook ever today. The picture quality is once again, terrible, everything is fuzzy and dark, and the book was falling apart before it was even given to him. His teacher even tried putting it back together. Hoping the school district makes a better choice next year.

Their picture quality is horrible, even laughable. The background looks soooo fake. And the yearbook my kids got this year, horrible quality! Poorly put together and the pictures are pixelated and hard to see. What a waste of $45. And customer service is so poor. I contacted them to cancel 2 of the 3 yearbooks that I ordered because I didn’t need 3 of the same book in our house, and they never got back to me. I hope the school chooses a different company to use next year!

I am a senior in high school, and I have had my picture taken since kindergarten. Never have I had an issue with a photographer or a staff member until this company took over pictures. They were rude, aggressive, and clearly hated what they did. Everyone in the line that I was in was yelled at and belittled by the photographer, given terrible instructions and angrily demanded to fix themselves for the picture. I hope that this man does not continue to speak to people like this.

I've worked for this company for 5 years now and its has been a fantastic experience. The President goes above and beyond for his employees and always has an ear for any comments, ideas, or anything else you may have to say. Being a seasonal industry you're never doing the same thing for more than 4 months at a time so it keeps the environment fresh. I have nothing but respect for this company and it is the reason my family and I can live the quality of life we do.

Our son had his senior portraits made with Rolland Studios. Our son does not smile, Rolland Studios captured the best smiles on his portraits. Superb photography!

The photographer took eight shots of my son for senior pictures and never one even noticed his shirt collar was tucked into his suit jacket. Trying to reschedule was a nightmare, especially if your child is an athlete. Do yourself a favor and find another photographer, if your school has contracted Rolland Studios for pictures!

The school obviously goes with the. Cheapest bid, because they could not have picked by skill. The angles are wrong, head tilt wrong, hand position wrong, and they couldn’t even get framing within what would be considered standard. Who frames a bust pose with PART of a hand showing. The only thing I can say that is right about the picture is the framing head to edge, and they did a pretty good job on expression. I certainly do not want this poor quality for his senior pictures. Just another way Raytown has let the kids down.
