Had photos taken a few weeks ago, this place is pretty old school. Get pictures taken, then take a long time to select individual photos and print sizes. These photos ended up pretty good, but we're terribly expensive. Like ridiculously expensive! They never replied to our email inquiries about purchasing digital rights. They took good photos and made it fun for our family, but is very old-school. Web likely won't use them again.

Janell at J Michel did the portrait for my daughter for an award she received, and we were very happy with how they turned out. She was very helpful with advise on what outfits to choose, and did a great job of directing and posing to get really cute photos. I am very happy with the pictures I was able to purchase and how beautiful my daughter looked in them. Janell was very easy going and accommodating to our schedule and working us in after we miss-communicated the time. Great people to work with!

I recently went to J Michel Photography to take photos for a youth event and I was very impressed. I had been dreading the idea of a very professional and forced session that would result in mediocre pictures, but I experienced the exact opposite. The photographer was incredibly nice, funny, and easy to talk to. The session flew by and it was much more comfortable than I had even hoped for. Despite some anxiety the day before, I came out of the experience with amazing pictures and in a fantastic mood. I honestly couldn’t recommend this studio more.
