Where do I start? Shooting with Michael was a refreshingly fun experience. He was extremely kind, professional and very resourceful! NEVER have I ever had a photoshoot in which my photographer took the time to inform me about very important resources for an actor until I booked a shoot with Michael at Hollywood Headshots. Also, the turn around on receiving my shots was ONLY 2 DAYS! I had my photos in 2 DAYS!! He works fast and efficient. Oh and did I mention the packages are extremely affordable!!!! Unfortunately Michael's photography philosophy is to shoot photos that crop out one shoulder and the hairline to "highlight" the eyes. I needed head shots for social media and website use, and had about 80 photos taken. Out of those head shots, only one of them had the full head shot including both shoulders and hairline. When I brought this up to Michael he refused to do anything about shots, and said that is how he shoots the pictures... Took him not even 25 minutes for the shoot, and in my opinion is not worth the $100 for one usable photo. BE AWARE: if you aren't happy with the pictures he will just take your money and run. Snake in the weeds...

One of the worst parts is ALL pictures were taken 2:3 format instead of an 4:5. Like what the %$#@.. why? Because now ALL the pictures have to be cropped and now ALL of them are too close after editing. (My opinion) Disappointing Michael took a lot of pictures yes. He is a okay photographer. But the quality of the pictures wasn't what I would call great. None were close to the quality on his website. Some were good, few were great and usable to me. Some of the pics were not in focus, some my ears were more in focus and my eyes were a little blurry. Some my skin was white some yellow. There was no consistency from one pic to the next let alone from one look to the next. Yes we shot in different areas but still i worked with different photographers in LA who did the same but kept all the pictures looking the same lighting and color wise. So there were a couple that i liked but the sun bleached out half my face. Overall if you just think of it as getting pictures he is good to work with. But for all my "edited" pictures he gave me that i want to use i have to go get professionally retouched. Some of his "edited" pics were such little things like cropping a centimeter in... that's it.. that is what he gave me as an edited picture. Along with the original were you can see literally all the edit he did was crop a smidge. This annoyed me because i have never had to take professional photos to another person to get edited. But as long as you know that going in he was good to work with. Unfortunately afterwards trying to communicate with him he just stopped responding so i guess once he had given me the pictures back he was done with me. You get what you pay for in any transaction and he gave me a discounted price and i feel like i got what i payed for. 1.5 looks i didn't get any pictures i could use, but what can you do.
