Probably the most honest review you’ll read here! The booking process was easy but my two hour shoot had to be rescheduled because someone booked the entire studio so I had to move everything. We chose a date a month later. I got a reminder email the day before telling me my time slot. When I got to the address the entrance is not clear. I called the studio three times and no one answered. Luckily the person at the strip club in front told me the where to go. While the address is Forsyth, the entrance is around the side and there are a bunch of homeless people begging for money. Parking- you will have to pay for parking. $5 per hour. I feel the reminder email should have noted this and the entrance situation. Finally got to the studio on the fourth floor and the door was locked. Had to knock hard because music was blaring and no one was at the front desk. I was asked to sign in by giving all the information I had provided when I booked the studio on an iPad. Really frustrating as you have this information. The studio is really two studios with out a wall that can separate them. Someone was shooting in the other studio and they had control of the music. Didn’t asked us if the music was ok or if it was too loud which it was. Not great customer service to me. I shot what I need to shoot but I would not return. It’s not worth it. If I rent a space, I’d like a private space where I can communicate with my client without shouting, being begged for money, and paying for parking.

i am just picking up photography and I'm learning as i go. this place is so nice and friendly they make you feel at home. and they are patient with you and show they really care about your shoot. i was nervous and a little embarrassed because you can tell I'm new to this but they quickly made me feel really comfortable and helped me as the shoot went by, i will for sure take up there work shop classes very soon. they are not enough stars on here to give them!

She made me feel comfortable about shooting w people around and answered all the crazy questions i had. And to top it all off the pictures were STUNNING! That was my first time shooting in a studio. my overall experience, five stars - I’ll def be coming back

I did not expect to build relationships at CKS, but the people there desire to know you on a deeper level. The workshops hosted by CKS are also amazing - I have been to two workshops lately, and both were very informative and caused my mind to open up to new waves of creativity. Cam Kirk is the only studio to shoot at in Atl. Staff there makes you feel like fam and helps provide a professional experience for your client and you. Photographers of all levels can work there so don't be intimidated if you're just beginning photography. All the staff is so friendly and relatable, but my dude Marley has worked with me almost every time I've been in the studio and provides a great experience. Love the vibe and energy in this place
