Studio Nine and Jonathan Rubin are nothing short of amazing! They went above and beyond for our over the top Indian wedding last June 2013 in Boston. Quite honestly, Studio Nine is hands down the best vendor we hired both for their professionalism and for their masterful artistry when capturing our special moments. I would highly recommend them (with zero reservations) to anyone for both photo and video to capture your special event/wedding memories. I’ve categorized my feedback below by the pre-wedding planning, wedding weekend execution, and post-wedding production. For clarification, we opted for photography, art film cinematography, and art film same-day edit. For pre-wedding planning – Jonathan wanted to understand the logistics and the intricacies of our multi-event wedding weekend, to understand who and what moments we wanted to notably capture, and also to discuss our collective artistic preferences for the art film + same day edit. We trusted Jonathan completely, but his attention to detail regarding our needs made us feel extremely comfortable leading up to weekend. For wedding weekend - Jonathan R., Jonathan Chiquot, Hunter, and Maria were spectacular. Overall, we had a team of 6 capturing every worthy moment. They were extremely well organized and connected via headsets that it was a consistently seamless transition from one moment to the next. Hah – my husband showed up late to our couple photos and the Studio Nine team assuaged my concerns/frustration by joking around/keeping the mood light. They truly seemed more like friends than a vendor – illustrative of their efforts to go above and beyond! For post-wedding production, Jonathan R. and Jonathan C. allowed me to have oversight into every product they developed (i.e., wedding photo album, full art film reel, highlight art film reel). I was provided draft versions of both the album and full art film and allowed to provide feedback/suggestions; thus ensuring the final product included their artistry but was meaningful for both my husband and I. Overall, you never need to question your decision if you sign up for Studio Nine and Jonathan Rubin.
