As two gay guys planning our wedding in Delaware while living in Colorado, we weren't sure how our plans and preparations were going to work out. But, hiring Leslie Barbaro as our photographer was definitely a home run! Leslie was nothing short of awesome to work with! We couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. Not only does she have a journalistic eye for capturing spontaneous moments that most others would miss, she has an incredible knack for staging photos that feel intimate, real and artistic. Looking at them afterwards I practically felt like a celebrity. Leslie comes from a photojournalism background, and it really shows. She found time to shoot various different groups of people, and took some great candids during the reception. She knows when to butt in and when to step back. She is attentive to all of the different moments, and we never had to worry that something wasn't being captured. When going through our shots, we can tell that she was listening when we told her about what specific parts of the bride's body or face that she was self-conscious about and needed retouching. She made our day just that much more special.

Leslie was fantastic from start to finish. She was responsive whenever we had questions, listed carefully to all of our requests, and totally grokked the kinds of images and parts of the ceremony we wanted to record. She was positive, patient, and efficient when assembling the staged family shots and completely unobtrusive when capturing the beautiful spontaneous moments. But most importantly the photos are beautiful. Looking through them after the honeymoon was a wonderful experience.
