Got family pictures done twice this year and they got great shots of the kids. The ladies are patient and very interactive with the kids to get them to smile and feel comfortable. We will definitely be going back for more and with the Groupon discounts it is definitely worth it.

I hate writing bad reviews, but this place really lets you down with the long waits. When you have a baby, you know they're more or less a ticking time bomb. And I was left to wait 30 minutes the first time for a shoot for my infant daughter. So I rescheduled. I'm here now waiting at that rescheduled appointment and it's been 40 minutes this time around. I give 2 stars because the staff has been very pleasant despite the stress they're obviously under. Also the very first shoot I got done for my daughter several months ago was a walk-in and the staff literally cut their already delayed lunches short to come back and do our shoot.

The worst customer service ever. I thought the location is on the second floor, for so I came 5 minutes late I explain that beside I drove 35 minutes to get there still she didn’t try to take me, she was very mean and rude.

Horrible experience. Lack of creativity and originality. Was told one price and had to pay another. Wasn't informed when to pick up my pictures. There was also a black spot on my pictures I was informed that would be fixed. A month later still not fixed. The guy adding enhancements to my photos appeared to have no idea what he was doing.

We had an appointment and they were an hour late since they'd double booked all day. Why don't they respect their customers time? 8 people crammed in the waiting area with all of the other annoyed families was not fun. We had to stick around so as not to miss our turn. After 30 minutes of us checking in they said it'd be 20 more minutes so we left for a bit. In an era of everyone with a camera I'm not sure how they'll stay in business with that customer service. Stay clear if you have expectations of respect for your time.

Was so dissappointed today. We got family photos done at a JCPenny potraits last year in PA and they were wonderful so we decided to go again this year but the Dover Mall location was closest to us now. I have a two year old and as you know they can be very temperamental so I planned my entire day perfectly to make sure he was happy and ready to go at our 4:15pm appointment time. We arrived at 4pm. And there was ALOT of people in there for a studio with only one camera room. And three people ahead of us for photos. My son was freshly changed, full, happy and smiling. Albeit with good intentions, one of the women there showed him a box of toys which he was more than happy to dig into, but not so happy for me knowing that when our time came up he would not be pleased to have to put back and leave behind all these new toys. And I'd have a cranky two year old on my hands. It didn't matter because 45 minutes passed before they were ready for us. 45 precious minutes where my two year old soiled his diaper, became hungry, ready for quiet time, and not at all in the mood to smile at a camera. Both my son and I left in tears, my husband in a bad mood from having wasted his time on a rare day off, and without a single photo. They offered to reschedule, but honestly I will never go back to this location again, i don't know if I'll go back to any JCPenny portraits at all.

Do not recommend this place to anyone I had to wait almost two hours and I have an infant and I fed and changed him before we walked in and they took so long he became hungry and irritated because he got sleepy the photos came out horrible and weren't worth the money we spent for them.
