Working with Simply K was amazing. From the very beginning I felt like they understood what I was looking for and could make it happen. I was blown away by their professionalism and expertise on my wedding day. Every time something was happening and I thought "I hope I get a picture of this" I'd turn and someone was already photographing it. They truly captured the essence of Colorado in our formal pictures and I could not have been happier. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Awesome team!

Be careful using this photographer. I hired Kathy to have my son's senior portraits done from a Groupon offer. She was kind enough to let me know that she was 9 months pregnant and may have to ask another photographer to complete the job. I was aware that the other photographer was not associated with Simply K. I was notified the day before the shoot that Kathy would not be completing the job. The part that I am disappointed in is that the new photographer (Christina Hauser) only honored the sitting fee of the Groupon deal. There was also a special for the photos and cd. I found out after the shoot that her prices were 3 times as much as Simply K's offer. I am now a hostage to this new photographer's prices. If I want my son's photo's I will have to pay the inflated prices.

From the first moment we met Kathy, we knew it was a perfect match! Kathy and Kelly are both incredible professionals who are beyond talented. Kathy took both our engagement and wedding photos and my husband and I could not have asked for anything more! Kathy was timely and made us feel more than comfortable in front of the camera. Kathy does whatever it takes to get the "perfect" shot! She inquired about our specific day of requests and made sure she stayed true to our photography timeline. Both Kathy and Kelly were extremely flexible with scheduling my maternity and newborn sessions around all the other sessions they had. Newborn photos need to be done within a week or so of the birth, so they worked with my schedule and got us in. I was very pleased with their professionalism and loved the studio! Being mothers themselves they took over whenever my baby was crying and allowed me to rest. They had great ideas and even incorporated my ideas during the shoot. I am very pleased with their work and would definitely hire them again.

ENGAGEMENT: From the beginning, my fiance and I had a hard time deciding on a photographer. Having amazing photos was my number one priority and I was not willing to budge. After much searching, we found Simply K Studios. Kathy has been very nice, responsive, and helpful! In October of 2016 we had our engagement session which we were extremely nervous about (being awkward, not knowing what to do), but Kathy made us feel completely comfortable! Once we got our engagement photos (which we absolutely loved) we could not wait to have Kathy photograph our wedding day in July of 2017! WEDDING: Scott and I got married on July 22nd of 2017 at Maneeley's in South Windsor and our day was perfect! Kathy and Kelly captured our wedding day from beginning to end perfectly. There were so many times that I had forgotten they were even there, which really gave them the chance to capture true, honest, and raw emotions. Scott and I did a first look and I am soooo glad! It was a hot day, so we definitely looked our best those first few hours! It did not take anything away from the actual ceremony at all. I still felt the ceremony was the most emotional part of the day. Kathy was so easy to communicate with before and after the wedding. She always made me feel more like a friend than a client. We got our photos just 4 short weeks after the wedding and we could not be happier with them!!! When we went to pick them up, not only did we get the photos, but we were surprised with a very thoughtful and beautiful gift! Kathy and Kelly, thank you so much for capturing moments that Scott and I will cherish for the rest of our lives. We are looking forward to working with you in the future!

We were very lucky to have Simply K studios as our photographers for our engagement session and wedding. Kathy and Kelly did such an incredible job, all the pictures came out beautiful. They made us a guestbook using our engagement photos and it came out amazing. The best thing about Simply K Studies is not just their talent but it’s their passion and professionalism. They wanted to make sure our pictures came out perfect. They worked very hard to incorporate everything we wanted to do. We did a first touch and they did an amazing job of coordinating that for us and it turned out incredible. Unfortunately we had a significant amount of rain come through during our wedding, Kathy and Kelly did not miss a beat despite the weather, it was pretty awesome to see them in action. When we saw the pictures we honestly don’t know how they could have turned out any better. Thank you Simply K Studios!

We worked with Kathy (of the 2 K’s of Simply K) and Bobbie the day of our wedding. For the first half of the day Kathy was with me, my bridesmaids, and my family, while Bobbie was with the boys (cracking them up the whole time, by the way). I’ve been in several weddings and so often the photographer can come off as bossy or demanding when you’re just trying to absorb everything that’s happening and enjoy one of the most important days of your life. This was not the case with Simply K. I actually forgot Kathy was there when I was getting ready – she caught every moment, every detail, and every emotion without the slightest disturbance to the flow of the day. And I know Bobbie kept my husband and his groomsmen laughing and at ease, distracting them from the natural nerves that come with the day. Kathy & Bobbie captured just perfect shots throughout the ceremony – the tears, the laughter, the love, and this same professionalism, attention to detail, and creative genius continued throughout the formal photos and the candids afterwards during the reception. Their eye for backdrops, lighting, juxtapositions, and framing simply cannot be beat. And if this weren’t enough – we had all of our pictures back to us for our review fewer than 3 weeks after our wedding! I have never heard of this happening, nor did I expect it, but it was such a lovely surprise. The quality of Simply K’s work is impeccable. I am not exaggerating when I say that we loved every picture that came back. It was all we could have ever dreamed for, and their combined talent helped memorialize every tiny detail of the day so we’ll never, ever forget. Simply K = Simply the Best!
