I was VERY impressed with their custom service. I went to a pop up AM Studios in Flatirons Mall in Arvada Colorado and my photographer was late and the studio looked closed. I reached out to the AM Studios Kiosk and the guy working it was amazing. He was so friendly (and cute lol) and apologetic about the delay. The 10 dollar fee was waived due to the wait. I'm just very impressed and I cant wait to see my photos. .

SCAM! they have you thinking 20$ is a score but then take extra pictures for when you pick up and they want to charge a lot more money. And when I ask to get time to buy the other photos I was told no they get destroyed if I don’t buy. Then I called the number on the website and they told me no that was wrong and that they will call me back when they receive the pictures and they will have them in two or three days. Been wanting for a call for two weeks now. So disappointed because the pictures are of my children. Will never fall for them again.

So at the mall, this is where I was approached by AM Studio staff, they show you the package you get for “20 bucks”. After you sign up, the give you your appointment date time, and mention yeah and have $10 for the photographer at the time of your session. One very important thing that they also fail to tell you is that you WILL NOT get to choose your photos for the promo. They choose it for you, they pick the worse one, and then show you all the nicer shots for an additional cost. For example, I don’t like our promo package, but for a very large amount I can’t purchase the one I did like. I will say the staff was super friendly, pleasant to deal with. I have delt with photographers before, and I feel like the one we got lacked experience. We were a family of 6, husband wife son(18) daughter (16) son(4) daughter (1). I had to do too much work to help get them to look at the camera. Her props were boring smaller kids completely not interested. She really didn’t have good ideas on posing us. Detail in a photo is important to me and when I said my son should take his glasses off, she said it was ok to keep the glasses on that her posing will eliminate the glare. Now that I have seen the pictures I noticed it was not true. Over all, the experience was ok. You definitely get what you pay for, and what professional job cost 30 bucks? You do have the options to buy nicer pictures, but for the stress and experience I went through to have a photographer who doesn’t work well with kids, I could’ve done something with an agency who can deal with children.

The salesman and photographer were amazing. However at p/u time I was told it would be long wait due to there being so many families picking up. I was unable to wait as I made my appointment time as instructed to do by text. I explained that to the staff member and she was rude and handed me my pictures. She did not offer another time to view the other pics. She rolled her eyes and was very unprofessionally spoken. I called the customer service number and have yet to get a response. I texted the number that texted me and still no response. I will not be a returning customer and will communicate the poor service regarding am studios.

Came in to take my 4 year old daughters photos. On that day she decided she was not in the mood and she was very upset. The photographer on that day, Anthony really stepped up to the plate and tried everything g he could to soothe, comfort and make the experience a good one. I’ve never seen someone be so caring to a little girl who was having such a bad day. I want to THANK HIM for making this experience an amazing one for her and for being so understanding with us! What was supposed to be 15 minute shoot turned out to be 2 hours. In the end I would like to thank Anthony and AM STUDIOS for their patience, kindness and professionalism with a 4 year old little girl. The pictures they take are GREAT with great quality. However, they try to scam you. They had a deal going on where you get 19 pictures for 20 bucks. My fiancé and I took up the offer. They did a bunch of extra pictures for no reason and then when we went to pick the pictures up, they wanted us to pay 270 dollars for all of the extra ones. And the 19 pictures that we got to take home were all the same. They couldn’t have given us a few of the same ones and then switched it up a bit? Why did we have to get all 19 of the same pictures? Ridiculous. They should have just taken the 19 and sent us on our way rather than doing a bunch of extra ones and then trying to charge us extra when we went to pick them up. I will be having a better photographer do pictures of us for free, since she is a family friend.

We had a pictures done with AM studios and as always my expectation was very low and i had prepared my self mentally for a ok experience. Honestly I was not expecting for this to go how it went the paper explains how the first pose you do for the shoot is the pictures you get for the 20$. They gave me the 4th or 5th pose of just my son alone. Afterward they tried charging me 50$ a shot which was not on paper nor explained in person. The photographer was great overall but that was the only great experience through it all.

Photographer was friendly and guided us with our poses, the process was kinda rushed and took about 10 minutes total but I still felt confident the pictures would come out beautiful! Now here’s where it gets bad. They are deceiving as to the costs and make it seem like you’re getting a fantastic deal for $30. When really you only get 19 pictures all of the same pose for the $20 plus $10 sitting fee. Now when I arrived to pick up my pictures, I was expecting to pick up what I had already paid for and that’s it. The lady Vicki who helped me took me to a back table where she had all the pictures printed out of all of our poses and right away started trying to sell me a big trifold canvas of three different pictures that was $700!!! When I told her I could no way afford that she tried to sell me a big canvas with one picture for $400 something!!! Every time I told her I couldn’t afford it she would just continue to push her sales on me and even went as far as asking me “well aren’t you getting your income tax? Can’t you borrow the money from someone I can take their credit card info over the phone”. In the middle of this she asked me if I would write a review about the company and sat there staring as I did it. So when I left I came back and edited my review, I didn’t want to be treated bad for giving an honest bad review while she’s watching me. She was extremely unprofessional and pushy. So in the end even though I went in there expecting not to pay another penny and just pick up what I paid for, I ended up buying the other pictures as well with the other poses just because they had already printed them all out and I was told if I didn’t purchase them they would just be tossed which broke my heart that would’ve been a waist! So total I paid $30 before pictures and $250 after!! Total rip off and totally deceiving I feel like my kindness was taken advantage of she never even explained my options for smaller packages or allowed me to choose which pictures I wanted and didn’t want of the additional poses. So future customers beware they will try to push really expensive prices on you and in the end you will most likely pay a couple hundred if not more just for your additional poses!!!!

Met them at the Clarion in, in Pueblo today. I was really terrified in even going there wasn’t hardly any cars and when we got there we went in seen the sign. It was really sketchy and actually really kind of scared me. They were nice it was just really weird and I couldn’t wait to just leave once we got there. Even my fiancé was all sketched out. It’s given me Anxiety all day long. And when the guy with the beanie told us to empty our pockets and wallets etc and have them sit in the chair he said it like “ do it”. And I was started to get freaked out. Just wanted to say it was good and all but I just don’t like how sketchy is it. I was almost okay with just losing $20 that I paid.

Quality of the photos are absolute trash. You can tell that don’t use good equipment as my iPhone could take a better picture. When you ask about pricing at first nobody knows anything. They pick the first pose and won’t swap it out even though we were happier with another one as our 4 month old didn’t smile in the first pose. Staff left my husband know 3/4 of the way through that his hair was all messed up so 3/4 of the photos his hair is bad. Had to drive down THREE times from over an hour away. Would NOT EVER recommend this place to anyone I know.

This was my first time getting pictures done professionally and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! My photographer Isis was awesome working with my 1 year old daughter, and she got a lot of great poses! The prices were reasonable as well. Overall, five stars and would reccomend.

Didnt even allow us to choose the pic for our package, pretty sure they chose the worse one and wanted hundreds for the rest- which were already printed and bound for the shredder. Maybe dont compare your photos to other professionals when it took 10 minutes in front of a green screen and I'm half sure the guy had been drinking.

I’m coming back to edit my review. Okay I felt SO PRESSURED to give it 5 stars. The guy was literally standing over my shoulder and pointed at the 5 stars to review them. And I felt like if I didn’t review the 5 stars I was going to be treated badly. Also, I didn’t get to choose my pose for the photos. First of all I had a date set up for their El Paso location. The guy wrote the wrong date and I showed up and drove 100 miles round trip to get there only to be told that it was the wrong date! I was so angry. The El Paso man gave me a coupon/paper thing and told me he would add a second pose free for the inconvenience. When I went to reschedule at my local location it was a different man and he said no. I couldn’t do that. But he would give me a discount. Okay sure. I asked prices and he wouldn’t say. Kept repeating the $20. Okay so fast forward, I get to the “shoot”, they didn’t even have freaking mirrors. So I wasn’t able to check how I looked before the photos. We took my father along so I could photos w my kids and him. My plan was to get the set with a pose of my kids and I only. That’s what I had been told. Okay so 10 minutes go really fast and they shooed me out. Two weeks later I go to pick up my photos. They already had a ton printed out. The set I got in the $20 was a pose with all of use WHICH WASNT THE PLAN. The guy showing the phots was just pressuring me to purchase and to rate them a 5. I ended up buying all of them because he basically guilted me into it. As soon as I stepped out and saw the photos in clear light, THE COLORS ARE ALL INCORRECT. Their printers are clearly not calibrated. My teeth have an orange tint, the 8x10s have almost no detail in the photos. I called back immediately and the man said, sorry no refunds. Why not?! They’re going to the trash anyway! I was pressured into buying something that wasn’t what was advertised to me. I hate that they didn’t even let me look at them clearly. And made me feel stupid about it all. By far the worst experience. It was my first time doing family photos and they’re not even photos of me and my kids. Half the poses I was excited to see weren’t even printed. Overall save your money. I’ve printed better photos with my iPhone.
