A funky art/banquet hall/whatever else connected to a coffee shop and little store. The cofee was good and the cookies were fantastic, I'd like to come down here when they have an event going on because it's such a huge space.

I really enjoyed my brunch here. Friendly service awesome food good coffee. Being that I am one of the few people who remember what this part of town use to be like. I can honestly say I'm proud of what this part of downtown now offers. Its beautiful on roosevelt now and with interesting restaurants and shops popping up all over such as the monOrchid it's a real treat to explore the roosevelt area.

We are so thankful for Kyu and Krissy. They absolutely were instrumental in making sure our day was perfect. Krissy was brilliant in dealing with our constant stream of questions and requests. She is an all-star and we are so glad she was on our team for our special day. The food was amazing, all of our guests continuously commented on various aspects of the food weeks after the wedding. The event staff were very professional yet personable and attentive. The reception went off without a hitch thanks to their hard work, preparation, and ability to execute. I am sure there were issues that popped up day-of but we never knew because Krissy was on it! Additionally, Kyu seems to know everybody in the service industry and every vendor that we selected based on his recommendation far exceeded our expectations. Thanks Conceptually Social for making our day so special! MonOrchid was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first toured the facility we knew it was perfect. The industrial style added a lot of character but was not in-your-face. We loved the artwork that was on the walls that month. The various studios offered a lot of options to customize the layout for the ceremony and the reception and we could not have been happier.

Place is very unique and fits right in the Roosevelt District area. Sadly, the Owner is a difficult jerk that seems to not get along with anyone including the city. He'll lawyer up and play hardball before you know what is even happening. Too bad since this little complex really is neat. I hate to give money to someone that treats people like crap.

Great curated everything from businesses to art!

I've been renting office space at The MonOrchid for a couple years now and absolutely love it. It's a beautiful multi-purpose building with desks/office space, event space, an art gallery, an awesome cafe and more. It has great energy and great people!

I enjoyed an amazing breakfast at Be Coffee. I'm looking forward to the next concept which will be opening next door called The Dressing Room!

I've had an office here for (OMG) 3-4 years I think? This place is great for a million reasons, but I'll list some top ones here: -If you like the idea of "co-working" but not forced "collaboration," this is for you. It's great having the energy of other businesses around, but you don't have to find ways to work together, like some of the other co-working spaces promote. -Be. Coffee downstairs is BOMB. Nice people, great food, affordable, open early. They even run your lunch up to your desk! -Affordable desk/office suites - Considering that there's parking, mail is easy, an impressive conference room, printer, and other perks, it all pencils out to a good deal. -Arts shows and events constantly, so it's kinda cool if you're working late to have the energy of First Friday or a dance class in your building. -I've known Wayne Rainey (the building's owner) for years. He's actually one of the reasons I rent there. I like knowing that my rental dollars are helping him keep the lights on inside such an iconic building. Don't listen to these people accusing him of things - they're probably just jealous that he's one of the most creative people in the city. Although, he does wear a Fitbit, and it's ridiculous that he needs a computer to tell him how many steps he's taken today...

I Had an Art show at Monorchid and I found the experience most satisfying . The owner and assistants were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They offered great advise without forcing any of their own direction. The owner Wayne Rainey is a colorful character with an elegant soul and a undying affection for Downtown Phoenix. Ever since I've started going to 1st Friday's MonOrchid Gallery has always been my favorite. I love the flow and space that Wayne has created. I love the variety. The coffee shop is the best and you must try one of their fresh baked home made chocolate chip cookies. ABSOLUTELY delicious. The art is always intriguing and thoughtfully placed and lit. The crowd is fun to watch. Make this your first gallery of the evening. Wayne, I love the workspace concept upstairs. GENUIS!!! Anyone would be LUCKY to work in this space. Go check it out.

Went to The Celebration of Chester Bennington's Life....Not from the area but the venue has a really zen vibe with so many different drink choices! People were fantastic and the customer service was so good. The event is what brought me there but I will be in the area more often and definitely plan to make sure I visit this place every time. Loved the atmosphere, drink selections, things to snack on and the decor. Customer service is great as well.

Was not worth the $25 movie ticket. Had to sit in fold up lawn seats. Drinks were too expensive for thier size. Small and intimate is nice but not when the people across the way are talking loudly and laughing through the entire movie.

MonOrchid is a Hidden Gem, in a city that could use as much Cool, as it can get. If the beautiful art surrounding the building doesn't invite you in, maybe the free music, Wednesday's 6-8 will do the trick. The Stakes a Jazz/Rap band ,that Has so many wonderful, working parts going for them. From vocals to lyrics, rythem to style. The Stakes possess a charisma that feels like a home for any soul that considers music a religion.

My favorite coffee shop/cafe downtown! Their espresso is my go-to when I need a 'pick me up' because it is bold but not bitter at all. If you like big, gooey chocolate chip cookies this is also the place you need to be! If you need some protein, you cannot go wrong with the All Day Burrito! It is a breakfast burrito filled with eggs, avocado, bacon and some of the most magical corn I have ever eaten! Seriously. The corn kernels are huge but somehow still sweet and flavorful! The people who work here are some of the warmest folks in town! This place is really a treasure! I hope it will be around for years to come.

A great gallery space, attached to a great little botanical shop and a wonderful little restaurant. Whether you're wandering through on a First Friday gallery stroll or coming out to an event, it's an interesting, dynamic space to host the art being featured. There's a very small parking lot reserved for members or ticket-holding event-goers behind the gallery. Otherwise, you may be able to snag some free street-side parking in the area.
