I've been doing business with Grad's Photography for over 5 years now both as a customer and vendor. I've seen nothing but the best quality workmanship from this company, I get all my business cards and letter heads done through them, the design team and photographers are the best. I own Arizona Metro Home Designs and being in the service oriented business I understand you can't please everyone, BUT, they can literally fix anything on film, I'm confident in saying if you don't like the way your pictures turned out after Grad's handles it, there is only so much lipstick you can put on a pig. Keep up the great work Grad's and thanks for your service. Ben

If all you're doing is using them for senior yearbook photos, do not use their website to schedule!! The school pays the sitting fee but the website makes you pay the sitting fee to schedule. They enjoy telling you that the school paid your $32 fee already for you but because their website says NO REFUNDS, they get to keep your additional $32. How many people have done this, making this place double the money???? What a scam.

I called this place to get my sons old school pictures for the last five years. I spoke to Alyssa (very friendly)who said she had to look into her data base since it was for 3 different schools, and would contact me when she found the pictures. She got back to me the same day, when i called her back to order the pictures she was very nice and helpful very good customer service.

Good place for pics. but the packages are so expensive. 150 to 800 for senior pics and the low end price is for just one pose. High schools leave you no choice but to use the studio. They must get some kind of kickback.

OVERPRICED! Beware they charge too much just to take you picture and then want $600+ for any prints! Way way too overpriced! Crazy! Only went here because our school would not let us use anyone else. Shoot was ok but the photos are not.

My daughter went in to take her senior yearbook photo. Online they gave the option to add a grad photo, turned out it was worded wrong and was only a sitting fee for a photo not being purchased. When my daughter asked about it, the staff was rude handed her a packet and told her her mom needed to be there. They refused to show her any photos even though one of the packages is for instant proofs? Just repeating to her that her mom needed to be there. It was ok to take photos but she couldnt make a purchase or get any customer assistance? I called and Kim was very rude, she kept interupting me when I asked about how the process goes and why my daughter was turned away. Why a working Senior, who drove herself there, was refused respect and service? Kim was aggressively trying to deffend the rudness, trying to get the last word. At the end of the conversation I asked her how she felt about her response and if she thought she herself gave good service, would she be satisfied if other customers heard the way she was speaking, she told me to have a nice life.

Parents beware. They do not take good photos. They recently took a photo at my daughter's school. Not only was the hat placed sideways, her hair was all over her face. You can even see her hair was on her eyes!! The bow on her graduation hat, is supposed to be in the back. But instead it's on the side of her face. They would know that if they took the time to look at it. The letters on top are all sideways!! If they take photography at your school, don't buy the picture in advance. Wait until you can see the picture online. Unfortunately, this is the one memory I will have of her kindergarten promotion. I am highly considering just throwing it in the trash. I would upload the photo, but oddly it will not allow me. Sounds fishy seeing how I can do so for other reviews.

**Edit to my review below. Within a few hours of my review, Brad the CEO contacted me and apologized offering you fix the photo or retake at their studio. He did explain that they delivered the photos to the school last week. The school did not distribute until the day before the retakes. (I found out) I'm honestly blown away with the wonderful customer service from Brad. It's rare anymore. I'm very impressed by Grads response and quick resolution.** I can honestly say I am very disappointed with my daughters photo. Not only was she allowed to take a photo with food on her face, the photographer apparently told her to close her mouth and smile. Now we have an awkward pressed lip smile. We were also only given less than 24 hours before receiving the photos and the kids being allowed to retake. This does not allow for parents to properly review the photos and have them retaken. They are also very overpriced.

Great pictures but be prepared to drop $300 for a senior picture package. I like how they have it setup to pick the pictures in a quiet office on a laptop and the employee steps out and let's you decide what pictures you like and dislike and comes back to fill out the order form. No pressure sales either of the two times I have been in for two of my kids senior pictures.

My kids school started using this photography company and the pics are excellent. We even had a problem when they arrived (not the company's fault) and they made it right. I would recommend this company and will keep purchasing from them. They have many options to chose from and all price levels.

The pricing is such a rip off! The pictures were okay, but definitely not worth the pricing. They want to nickel and dime you to death, but what they don't tell you is that the longer you wait the prices will go down. For example, when I we first got my daughter's pics taken, if we wanted to view them online they would charge us $100, however now that it's the end of the year it's free to view them online. Literally wanted to buy 2 5x7 pictures and they wanted to charge me $150. We went through a local photographer, got twice as many poses, way more outfit changes, way more selections, and ALL the photos and rights to the photos for the same price as what they wanted to charge me for 2 5x7 pictures. NEVER again will I be using this place for pictures. Next time yearbook pictures only and will not allow the lady on the phone to pressure me to pay the extra for the extra poses and the cap and gown pictures. The fact that the schools out here force you to even go through this company to begin with is absurd to me!

Took my daughter to get her pictures redone and seemed like most the staff had scowls on there faces like they didn't want to be there.When the lady who took my daughter's picture saw my daughter who is special needs,she seemed like "oh no,why me"type look.She also seemed like she didn't want to be there.The retake photos were horrible and left out of fustration. Workers are outrangously rude. The cheapest thing was $149 for a email that you couldn’t even print out or own the copyright to. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. On there website it says I could pay $40 for two outfits which is 30 min with the professional photographer. But nowhere on the website did it say the photos are separate from the $40. Plus I couldn’t even view the photos the same day they were taken. When I came back to view my pictures the lady was very rude. This place is a scam with horrible service

Can better pictures taken by a private photographer and for a lot cheaper including buying actual photos. Only gave it 2 stars because the young girl at the end was very nice.

Started going to Grads Photography back in 2012 for my senior photos. My family and I were very happy with the quality of the photos and the experience. Photographers, were really enjoyable and the sales person was very helpful when it came to selecting our packages. Because of this experience, I have went to Grads for photos, almost every year and will continue to support a company, that not only is a great local business, but cares about the customer's experience and satisfaction.

I found the prices to be standard for school pictures. There was a mix up w my son's kindergarten promotion pictures between the school and the studio in regards to payment. I called them discussed it w them they not only honored the package but I received them today. My 8th graders and kindergartner ' pictures look great. I am very pleased!

They overbook so you're waiting about 30 minutes after your scheduled appointment just to be seen. Horrible customer service. Luckily all I got from them was my senior yearbook picture. Didnt like the picture, I said that and they simply did not care. They wanted me out not happy. Glad I didn't do my actual senior pictures with them. Wouldn't recommend using them unless you have to. Just don't expect to be seen at or anywhere near your appointment time.

Best customer service and photography team I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Very thoughtful and aware of how important this time is in both a parent and students life. The picture packages were a bit confusing at first, But Sue went to great lengths to explain the packages, options and perks available. The poor mother that paid $1,400 and felt that she didn't get what she paid for....well, she did my only guess is that she didn't listen. She received the proof as well, and as Sue explained, those aren't retouched or cropped. I feel sorry for anybody who had a bad experience, the only thing I can say, is make sure your in a happy mood when you go, because the staff is always helpful. We also had to wait for the shoot to start. When I got inside that "totally insane room of props and backdrops" I felt reassure watching how the other photographers were doing their best to make sure the kids were having a good time....sometime even getting some help from each other to make those precious smiles come out. To me that sealed the deal...Grads will always be the go to place for me. They even did an awesome job on my business card and promotional photo. Hats off to Louie and the crew he has!!

I rarely take the time to write a review unless I'm really happy or disappointed. Grads was a memorable disappointment!! What a rip off! Seriously don't waster your money with these folks. The photographers were 'okay', nothing to write home about though. Luckily my daughter is very photogenic and doesn't need much help posing or smiling but if she had, she wouldn't have received much guidance from these photographers. MOST Importantly what made it a poor experience for us is the ridiculous price! All said and done we spent $1400 for a DVD of photos (no prints) and two photo shoots, 1 indoor and 1 outdoor. The outdoor session lasted all of about 10 minutes! IF I'M GOING TO PAY $1400 then the photos better be cropped! Some of the indoor poses included some off-set items that I had to crop out. I also had to pay for re-touching which was a rip off. All in all I expect better service for the amount paid. If I go to a 5 star hotel or restaurant and pay a premium, I expect the best, grads failed to deliver a 5 star experience for the premium price paid!

Beware! Grad Photography will ruin your special day! Seniors ask your school about switching to Lifetouch. This company delivers excellent service and quality than Grad Photography. This company is a rip off!!! My senior pictures were horrible. Their customer service and experience matches the pictures. The associate who took my picture was so messy and disorganized. They advertise to have custom graduation robe and cap for you. That was just a lie! I was very uncomfortable because outfit was tight. He had a kindergarten graduation cap available for everyone. Already suffocating from the robe, he shoves the cap onto my head. Right after the shoot, he knew I wasn't happy. He tried to avoid giving my money back by offering me to make up session in studio. I refused the offer. I immediately demanded a full refund. Spend your money elsewhere!!! Poor customer service and quality pictures.

I purchased pictures from Grads for my daughter at her dance academy. Once I received the pictures, I took them to the local Walgreen's to make a few copies. Walgreen's needed a copy of the copyright release. I called Grads Photography to get a copy and they would not provide it. After being placed on hold 4 separate times, I was told that I did not purchase enough pictures to get a copy right release. They offered to make additional copies for me at a rate of $2.50 per picture for copies or I could purchase an additional $75 of pictures to get a copy right release.

Their hours aren’t very accommodating to those who go to work or school. Also, it is very hard to get a hold of them. Every single time I called them to schedule an appointment, 9 times out of 10 they did not answer the phone.

Told about a month for them to print off the printer in the side building-- that pushed me over the edge. Anything else is an upcharge. Basic group is $42. Picture packs 1 8x10 a few 5x7s and some wallets, $90. Disc add $50. Mostly think the waiting time on pics is unreasonable.

Some of the greatest customer service around. The attention to detail is even greater. They take extra time, come in hours early to prepare, and don’t rush through what they’re doing. Not only to they care about the product, they care for the employees even more. They treat every employee like family and work with most living situation. I'm not impressed. They rush you thru and so much so I didn't know you can put deposit to view the proofs online. Found out weeks later after reading thru the brochure. The photos were all dark and it feels more like a print shop than a professional studio where they would edit the pictures. One posse had the year displayed upside down. It wasn't noticed by anyone except my nephew after printing. Shows they don't look at the pictures when printing. Their solutions: 1- retake the posse and wait another three weeks for print (that would involve 30 miles round trip, the time/effort and gas) 2 - return all the prints of that one posse and pick another posse and wait three weeks for print then pick them up (again I go way out of my way and wait) 3 - pick a new posse, they reprinted and were suppose to mail them. only to get a call to pick them up. I had to call them back and tell them they were suppose to mail them. (I had to convince/negotiate for this) I asked for a partial discount refund for the inconvenience and mistake; they denied that. Very Poorly experienced Photographers. At school, our school invited Grads to come and take a picture of our Track and Field team. I bought a photo for $10, and it turned out to be really bad. The picture was taken on a grass field, and more than half of the photo was just grass. Only a small portion of the photo was the actual people. Wasn't worth buying the Photo. (I Attend Arizona College Preperatory)

Since the high school that my children attended uses Grads for their senior portraits, I have been here twice. The lobby is very nice, with large color photos of many children arranged very attractively. The photographers are great, and take very nice pictures. When your proofs are ready, you make an appointment and return, at which time you are ushered into a room where you view them. They show them on a wall, and run them by slowly for your viewing pleasure, I believe in an effort to get you to buy a large photo "package". These "packages' can be very pricey (in the hundreds of dollars), and with your child sitting next to you it's very difficult to say "no" when they want photos to give to friends and send to family. I believe that instead parents should be able to view the photos on Grads website, make an unpressured decision, and order online. I also believe that the schools should give parents more choices as to where they have photos taken.

Grads Photography recently photographed my granddaughters wedding. The guys with cameras came dressed for the occasion, and were extremely polite and helpful. They took photos throughout the evening and we have hundreds of great shots to choose from. One of the highlights of the entire evening was the photo booth provided by Grads. There was a line of people waiting turns to make funny faces with their best buddies. Everyone loved the experience. I would recommend Grads Photography to my friends.

I paid for both kids and only received my daughter's pictures? Customer service hours start at NOON? Not a lot of communication there...not happy once again.

I recently had my daughters senior pictures done at Grad's and would not recommend you go there. I have spend almost $800 between shoot fees and pictures we purchased. this included an in studio session ($99) of about 35 minutes and an outdoor shoot of 10 minutes. We walked away with a small box of pictures, of the about 40 poses we only could find a few we really liked and came upon some we sort of liked, When taking your shoot it is all up to the photographer to decide if she liked the shot and we had to deal with them. Upon viewing we came up with a package we wanted and purchased $665 dollar package of pictures, including one frame and one statue. We were then told it would be 4 weeks until the pictures came in, but we had to pre pay to get them printed. Part of the order came in, I went to pick them up(the partial order I had been called to come pick up) and they could not find the pictures. It took several minutes of them looking to find them. I called in because something was missing, and they could not even find her in the system. I think for money I spent, the service should have been much higher. I am really disappointed in the lack of quality of the pictures taken, the ability to adjust them to our liking and with the level of service I have received there. Take your required yearbook photos only and then find another photographer for the senior shoot!

Our photography session was great! Our photographer was awesome especially with my kids. The packages are pretty pricy. I'd give 5 stars BUT they had a backdrop up and it says if you take a photo and upload it to social media you'd get a free print. Well I did so (even though it was 2018 and grads photog) because there was no fine print saying for seniors only so when it came to ordering I was told that's only for seniors and I wasn't the only one who tried using the promo. All together I was satisfied with our photos and the smoothness of ordering ect.

The prices for graduation portrait are ridiculously high paid $400 plus and not worth it at all. I went to JC Penny's and got a better deal and much more quality for my oldest son,to make it worse I ordered invitations and received announcement instead.
