They're pretty great! I had a little incident with them a while back but they were quick to apologize and even sent a written apology! In my book, thats pretty fantastic and rare these days. I recommend them to everyone I know! Edit to add: I've moved a little ways out of the area and after trying several different pharmacies, I've decided to stick with Rankos. They're just that much better than everyone else.

Love this old-time Pharmacy / drugstore my dog is even welcomed there! And they gave her treats! Just wish they had a soda fountain.

I had a great 1st experience at Rankos Pharmacy - the pharmacy and retail area are chock full of great items, and you can tell their staff really cares about their customers. Their pharmacist Greg was very helpful and took the time to answer all of my questions. I always choose to support small locally owned businesses and this is a great place to get your prescriptions and also find some fabulous gift items, as well!

Greg and Liz are truly kind and compassionate people and they ALWAYS do their best to help their customers. I once mentioned to Greg that I'd paid over double for the exact same prescription at Walgreen's and that he could charge just a little more and make more money while still being fair to the customer. He quickly informed that he didn't come to work each day to do that kind of thing. He means it too. It's a great place with great prices and people and they have all kinds of unique gifts as well. I drive past 20 pharmacies on my way from South Hill Puyallup just to go to Ranko's to fill my prescriptions.

My mother and I were staying in this area for a couple weeks last spring. One morning, my mother needed a band aid for a minor cut on her finger. We stopped at this drugstore, but once we got to the door, noticed it didn't open for 20 minutes. A woman with a key to the door came by and asked what we needed. A couple minutes later she came out with band aids, gratis, for my mom. Wow! I love this area! And major kudos to Ranko's Stadium Pharmacy!

Family owned Pharmacy. Been a part of Tacoma forever. Pharmacists go the extra mile here unlike chain pharmacies. The shop inside always offers perfect gifts and unique options. I like everything about the store.

I have been going to Rankos pharmacy for years and had positive interactions with everyone on staff. Mr. Rankos is an experienced and kind pharmacist who goes out of his way to make sure I’m taken care of and makes time to answer all my questions (and I have a lot of questions). I have medications that aren’t common and Mr. Rankos personally made sure my medications were in stock for each refill. Rankos pharmacy is the only pharmacy that has been able to consistently provide these medications every month. Love them all and I would highly recommend!!!

The best pharmacy in town! I have been taking care of my father, who is 94 years old, for many years. He has had some problems: strokes, gall bladder removal, falls, degenerative spinal arthritis and more. He currently has twelve medications that are prescribed. Many of these need a Doctor's approval to renew. In the years that I have had to help manage his meds, I have never been frustrated or disappointed by their service or products! Theirs' is a true 'service', the kind not found elsewhere. They remember us by name. They also provide a US Postal service that is more convenient than the 'brick and mortar' ones (currency and checks only). I went to Stadium High School, a block away, over forty years ago, Ranko's is a landmark! Their an old established company, which has stood the test of time.

Rankos' Stadium Pharmacy is a legacy! They are truly of the last, great pharmacies out there. If you are looking for caring, attentive staff and a pharmacist who can truly help you, this is the place to go. You are not just another bottle to fill at this pharmacy. The pharmacist actually cares to be a partner in your health!!! You do not get this type of support and service at the corporate box stores. No matter what you are looking for in the store outside of prescriptions they are very helpful and can even provide great suggestions. This pharmacy also has a great selection of gift items, sundries, etc. Such a great small town feel in the heart of the city.

The pharmacist (Mr. Rankos himself) is a mean old man that acts like it's an inconvenience that you have the nerve to try and give him your business. When he screws up, it's always your fault and throws a shockingly unproffessional tissy fit. Like "I'm sorry, I just wanted let you know that you gave me someone else's prescription." He actually refused to answer my questions about my medication twice!!!! Why, I dont know, worse mood than usual? I mean, isn't that illegal? This is my pharmacy and YOUR my pharmacist!!!! Anyways, couldn't take it anymore, took my money elsewhere. The only reason I even stayed as long as I did is because I try to support my local small businesses, and his daughter Liz, who also works there is a doll, she is so sweet and works so hard. Maybe I'll go back one day when he retires (which is well overdue btw) he gave me the completely wrong medication and wrong amounts more times than I can count. That can be very dangerous, lethal even!
