I've never been treated so rudely in a retail environment. Pharmacy tech Lynn, should not be working in customer service. I went here to get prescriptions filled after surgery. Birch tells me there is a problem with my insurance, the prescriber is not an approved provider & if I want the meds I'll have to pay for them, which I did. Then I called my ins, & the prescriber is covered. I call Birch, & they tell me to come down for a refund. When I show up for the refund, Lynn tells me that the doctor isn't covered. I assure her that he is. She tells me tough luck, that I'll have to call my ins to have them fix it in the system, & she throws my receipts at me. I told her someone at Birch told me to come get my refund, & I already traveled 32 miles to get this fixed, can't we just call the ins right now. She was pissed; she didn't want to help. She prints off a page showing the error to prove it to me. She calls the ins & while she's on the phone with them, says sarcastically (extra loud so that I can hear) "Can you tell her that, because I already told her & she doesn't believe me?" After that, she was transferred a few times. Lynn didn't tell me I could sit down to wait, would not update me on if she was making any progress & kept complaining about being on hold & transferred. I had been waiting 90 minutes at this point. The pharmacist, Chase, comes over and tries to help. Finally, Lynn hands the phone to me. Only then do we make progress. They are able to find the doctor under a different working address. I hand the phone back to Lynn. I hear the ins person walking her through cuz she doesn't know how to fix it. I finally hear Lynn tell the ins co that it finally went through. It turns out, it was Birch's fault all along because they entered the wrong provider ID when they filled the prescription. Lynn tells me to go down to the cashier without a "thank you for your patience," no apology, nothing; she wouldn't even look at me. Lynn should not be working in customer service. I spent a total of 100 minutes in Birch waiting for this to be straightened out, plus the 30 minutes I waited the previous day. I will NEVER use this pharmacy again.
