We live in Nashville, TN and I called and called compounding pharmacies in the area, but every one of them said they could not fill the prescription (because of shortage or other...they all seemed to say something different). As a lark I decided to call the compounding pharmacy of America, located in Knoxville (at least 4 hours away) and they informed me that they could fill it. They also informed me they could ship it to me, avoiding a long drive on my part. At this point I was still critical, assuming that once they quoted me the price for the prescription or the price to ship it, that it would simply be too much. Then they called me back, promptly, and told me it would be less than 40 dollars all together. Shipping was free, even if it needed to be refrigerated! I can't emphasize more how pleasant an experience it was. They were great over the phone and answered all of my (many) questions. The whole process went through without a hitch which is amazing considering it was entirely handled over the phone, hours away. (Again I didn't have to go there once). The Compounding Pharm of America really saved me and I'm so grateful! I just want to let others know if they are facing a similiar problem that there is an easy solution!

They "forgot" to charge my card on my first order, so billed me double when I ordered a refill which I DID NOT EXPECT OR PLAN FOR. Will not use them again after calling accounting to find out why I was charged double, she told me as quick as she could to get off the phone.

I work for a clinic that requires compounded medications for many of our patients. We have worked with several compounding pharmacies in the past years and I cannot say how happy I am now to be working with The Compounding Pharmacy of America. From the beginning, the customer service provided by this company has been more than excellent. Even in our clinic's most rushed and urgent of conditions they have never failed to provide us with the compounded medications we need. They have always handled our requests with the utmost professionalism and "don't worry about a thing, we're here for you" attitude. The staff truly care about the well-being of our patients and it is comforting to know that their medications have been so skillfully handled and prepared. Absolutely wonderful experience!

I'm giving 3 stars only because the girl that usually works at the front desk is very nice. I've been using this pharmacy for about 2 years now. I have to use them due to the dosage of progesterone I need, but my doctor's office has expressed that they may be switching to another pharmacy soon. I have to follow up on my prescription almost every time I get it filled. I text it in, it may be 2-3 days before I get a response saying it's ready (and sometimes I don't get a text). I have asked numerous times to have it shipped to me automatically, but that never happens. The girl up front even said she made my font bigger on the note to let them know it needs to shipped out, never happens. As other people have commented, taking up to a week to fill a prescription is unacceptable. These are hormones we're dealing with, so the wave that comes with not having them for multiple days is very uncomfortable. I genuinely hope they can improve their level of service.

Great prices, nice staff but it takes a week to get a prescription filled. I’ve used them twice and both times it took at least 5 days to get my prescriptions filled both times. I had to do with out my mess during that time.

Neglectful company. This company has no system for on line orders or follow up. Not one time did they notify me that there were delays and problems -which there were many. When asked why they wouldn't notify me they said they were just too busy and they encouraged patients to keep calling in -even though we don't know there is a problem. Not all of us have ESP.
