This may have been a cool place back in the day but now it falls really short on much charm. If your only going there for prescriptions or to see the historical value of the building then you may be fine, but the food counter is terrible. First they microwave their hamburgers and offer no french fries! It seems like food is an afterthought. The ice cream is a local ice creamery but that's about the only good thing food wise . The people at the counter seem to be unhappy and bored. I am sorry we wasted our time driving 30' to eat here.

What a wonderful experience not having to deal with the corporate pharmacy. Great location in the heart of the old village in Mount Pleasant. It's like stepping back into time. The staff are very helpful and happy to help. I try and give Pitt Street Pharmacy all of my business.

The Pitt Street Pharmacy has been a pillar of the Old Village for decades. Growing up, I only loved it for the lunch counter (and admittedly, that's still my number one reason for visiting today!), but as I've grown older, I've become more and more appreciative of their compounding services. Very, very few pharmacies still do that nowadays. The best thing about the Pharmacy is the staff, though. Kim, Dianna, Maddy, Caroline, Megan, Anna, and the rest truly make it a special place.

This is a institution of the neighborhood. Me and my boys met the owner once, and he greeted us with such kindness and good service. Other business owners should save their corporate "retreat" funds and just go here and learn genuine customer service.

Ambiance was nice. Food was marginal. Had a grilled cheese. It was more of a smashed cheese sandwich. The small shake I ordered was actually small. The counter service was quick and polite. A nice place to visit as a tourist. Probably would not go back for the food again. Pretty basic counter type menu.

My cat has an autoimmune deficiency and has to have special medication. Pitt street pharmacy fills the meds every month and delivers it to my home ( I live about 45 mimutes to an hour away). This month I called the refill in late and only had 2 pills left for Sasha. They filled it as fast as they could but could not get it in the mail in time. To prevent Sasha from running out of her meds one of their pharmacist actually delivered the meds to my home himself! Very nice people! I couldn't thank them enough!! Amazing customer service! They go above and beyond for their customers!

Cats Only Animal Hospital

We use Pitt Street Pharmacy almost daily to compound all sorts of medications into flavored cat-friendly liquids for our clients, they can also compound many medications into transdermal gels that are applied to the inside of the cat's ear! Kim and Mel are the pharmacists there, and they are phenomenal. It is also conveniently located, but will deliver if needed (great for our client's with cats who are in nursing homes, or who no longer drive)! We just can't say enough good things!

I started going to Pitt Street pharmacy to get my cat's medication filled. They are by far my favourite pharmacy even though they are out of the way. They are extremely kind, professional, and always were able and willing to get our RX's filled the same day. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I take long motorcycle trips and have been wanting to get by here ever since I saw them on Feasting On Asphalt, an old Food Network show. Well I finally was able to route a trip by there. It is a very cool old building and pharmacy with a soda counter. They hand make malts and shakes and MAN, they are good. I also ordered a cheese burger. Food was good and so was the service! The store is very original looking but it offers modern service and products also. From what I have heard the pharmacist is a REAL pharmacist and not just a pill bottle packer like in most places now. It's worth a stop by and even the town has old charm. Mt. Pleasant, SC.
