Professional, friendly, efficient, very nice gift and medical supply store to shop while you wait for your medication. Also plenty of seating ,and coffee available if you wish to just sit and wait. Unique gift selections. This store is not a chain it is family owned and operated,; therefore, they treat their customers much better than many of the chain pharmacies where the employees have no personal investment in the business. The only thing that I would improve on this place is a public rest room and a drive tru pharmacy pick up. Other than that it is perfect. Professional Pharmacy also has a delivery service which to my amazement is free. Wow, not many places care so much for their customers. They also have parking in back so they can carry items to your car for you. I am so glad I switched from chain pharmacy that I used to shop.

I'll give them 2 stars instead of 1, and I'll explain. Ordered a specially designed medicine that must be kept by refrigeration or it will spoil. They immediately made the option to deliver and I went with that. Package didn't arrive at my grandmas house for days, we wondered why it hadn't come, my mom showed up to find it hidden under something in her garage! There was no knock to the door, nothing to say that the fed ex man was delivering anything, my grandma was there the whole few days waiting for this package so she could safely put it in the fridge. The ice packs inside were totally melted and the medication cream was completely melted and spoiled, we were very upset given the fact the condition it being used for needs treatment to start. I called them up, they gave me a very lame response, saying fed ex wasn't required to ring doorbells and it was my grandmas fault for not keeping a close enough eye out, total nonsense, they told me to re order it they would charge me another hundred dollars for their poor delivery services, I was very upset, well long story short, my doctor called them and chewed them out and now o don't have to pay that extra money, I'll give them 2 stars rather than 1 for at least making the second round free, but their staff are very rude and unhelpful so I don't think very highly of this place! Though might I add I thank the owner for being understanding of the situation that happened

"Professional" Pharmacy is anything but. Absolutely terrible customer service. The front end employees try to be helpful, but the pharmacy staff is apparently laboring under the delusion that they don't need to provide assistance or be in any way competent. Three visits now to two different locations (Pennsburg and Pottstown) trying to avoid the "corporate" guys, and it's always the same. Sort yourselves out, Professional.

Very few small, independent pharmacies left. Professional Pharmacy takes care of its customers, especially seniors. They offer personalized service that large corporate pharmacies can't.

A great neighborhood pharmacy! Small enough that the employees get to know you and the pharmacists are able to personally help you. The free kid's vitamin program is awesome! I wish more businesses would focus on how they can help the next generation. They offer free delivery in the area which is great for those who may not be able to drive or just have busy lives! Would recommend to anyone needing prescriptions or just OTC items.

Agree with all the other posts. I never get med. Have bronchitis and had script sent to them. They were going to charge me over 100 and said that it didn't go thru my insurance. I called my insurance company and they said they never saw anything submitted. Insurance co said that all they had to do was call the pharmacy line and they would have given them the information. This is why I usually see a ND. Can go right to health store and get what I need and usually better within a day or 2xa. Lesson learned.

These pharmacists compound prescriptions and answer your questions and know about twice as much as doctors about medications. Dave especially is a genius if you have any medication question.

Best Pharmacy around. Great people, great store. Very knowledgeable and honest I can't say enough good things about these guys and gals. I love to see small family businesses that are still thriving and getting some love from the communities they serve. Also they treat customers with respect and dignity, which the chain stores definitely don't do anymore. If you're in either of the 2 stores areas please stop in and try Professional Pharmacy I promise you'll never go to one of the chain stores again. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS.

Horrible! Reprehensibly horrific first phone call today, to inquire about a medical supply item for my daughter. The woman who answered my call - Helen - (who did not give her name, I learned that later) from the start interrupted my every attempted sentence (questions such as, "Do you take my daughter's insurance," "do you carry the item her doctor prescribed," etc), put me on hold even as she was still speaking (so repetitiously that I did not know when she was there or I was still on hold)..and by "speaking" to me, I mean addressing me dripping with derogatory, snide, contemptuous disrespect that made NO SENSE in any way: * I * had conducted myself respectfully; she is a representative of this company and her entire job is to deal with customers. I attempted to persevere since I'd been having difficulty finding a source for a medical item crucial to my daughter's functioning. But this woman just continued with her egregious belligerence -especially the interrupting of anything that I continued to attempt to say (both trying to ask a question for clarification -she was rapidly tossing bits of information at me- as well as to try to give information pertinent to the entire reason for my call)...HELEN interrupted every attempt with talking over me, and THEN WITH yelling at me "hello..hello..HELLO!!" as if ***** I ***** were the one doing something wrong or rude! Again, I have no idea why she behaved this way to me. All I do know is that is was 100% without reservation UNACCEPTABLE! So at the last, I stated to her that I wanted to say something without being interrupted: I was able to inform her with tears in my eyes that her treatment today was completely unprofessional and unbelievably rude, to treat a potential customer like that, and that I did not deserve that kind of treatment, and that I would be hanging up. My daughter saw me crying after I had hung up, and when I briefed her on what had happened, she called that pharmacy back, got that woman on the phone, put the phone on speaker and informed this woman (after confirming with me that it was the same person) that she had made a grown woman cry, that this was completely wrong in every way, and demanded to be transferred to her manager. Long story short, manager not in, but a nice person (identified himself as a pharmacist) heard why we needed to speak with a manager and gave us contact info for one. Just as we thanked him and were going to hang up, he stated that this woman - Helen - wanted to say something to us. WE POLITELY DECLINED! Needless to say, if I was upset enough to write all this (I also contacted my daughter's insurance provider to report this encounter and they took a report and are escalating it to grievance department), IT WAS THAT BAD. "Professional" Pharmacy, based on this encounter, was absolutely anything but professional. Shockingly so.

It really makes a difference when you have a pharmacy that treats you like you matter and not just a number. Over the years I've been to plenty pharmacies, the big name chains could care less about you and are way overpriced. The staff here are always kind and welcoming, the pharmacist will always listen and answer any questions you have, like it should be. This is also the CHEAPEST pharmacy for medication you will find. My medicine elsewhere was QUADRUPLE, yes quadruple the cost it is here, this place saves me over $600 a MONTH!. I cannot praise this place enough, small hometown pharmacy with a diverse gift shop, large selection of medical supplies, local made chocolates, just a really cute store. Ditch the big name pharmacy, save yourself money and deal with a pharmacy with a hometown feel.
