A simple mistake turns in to a horrible experience... I called the pharmacy to see if they had my prescription in stock, since it's a 20 minute walk to get there, which I explained. I was told by the woman on the phone to bring it in. To me that meant they had it in stock so I take the walk in almost 90 degree, extremely humid, weather. When I get there I'm told that they do not have it in stock. I asked "what happened? I just called 20 minutes ago.". Instead of an apology I was told "You didn't call because I'm the only pharmacist here" I told him that I spoke to a woman. He yelled at me "She would have had to ask me, so you didn't call". He had all the power in this situation. A simple "I'm sorry for the misinformation" would have taken care of everything. Instead he insisted that I couldn't have called for a few more minutes and felt the need to tell me he has big accounts with various institutions (why??). When he walked away the female assistant walked over to me and said "I'm sorry (I thought, finally, but no) THAT YOU MISUNDERSTOOD WHAT I TOLD YOU ON THE PHONE. OMG! I just asked a yes or no question.
