The staff goes above and beyond. Very efficient and quick. No long wait times. Very polite and friendly. Went when it was Amslers and there is truly no comparison between the two. Staff then wasn't very friendly but the new owners and staff has made my experience there a great one. So nice to go in and not have to wait forever.

Hilltop is hands-down the best pharmacy in Pittsburgh. Not only do they have some of the lowest prices, but they go out of their way to help their patients. Every team member is caring and knowledgeable. They will go above and beyond to ensure that when you get a prescription or OTC item; 1. There are no interactions; 2. You are getting the best price from both them and your insurance company, if any; and 3. You will leave the pharmacy a healthier person. If you choose Hilltop to be your pharmacy, they will become your new favorite member of your medical team. They are definitely one of mine.

New Ownership. The other reviews are older and are out of date because the pharmacy has changed owners. These new owners have made this place great. New remodel and very polite. Such a refreshing change from the old Amslers.

I'm new in the area and I was pleased to find a pharmacy within walking distance. On my visit to pick up a 2nd prescription the staff recognized me and got my prescription from the rack by the time I reached the counter. Everyone said hello and have been very nice. It is so much better than the Giant Eagle pharmacy I went to pharmacy I went to before I moved. I felt like a number not a person at Giant Eagle. I think is so wonderful to be treated like a person and a valued customer. Hilltop gets the highest recommendation I can give because they treat you as not just another customer but as a friend who they would have a conversation with even if it's not about your prescription.

Its a good fast place but the pharmacists are really rude and seem angry all the time. If the staff was more polite and proffesional then it would be a great place. But they might be like that if your an outsider

This pharmacy has unbeatable prices. I get my script filled at Amsler’s for $18 and the same exact one use to cost me $80 at Rite-Aid. I appreciate that the owner makes the prescriptions affordable, so kudos to him! However, I do agree with the previous review in that the staff is terribly rude. I’ve had a guy hang up on me when inquiring about the status of my prescription. I explained to him that my doctor’s office had called in a script the previous day and he replied (angrily) “well they didn’t call here” and hung up on me. I’ve also had them ask me personal confidential information while I am at work and when I explained (politely) that I was at work and didn’t feel comfortable discloses that information for others to hear, she huffed and puffed like I was being ridiculous. It would be nice if they treated their customers like they were valued.
