Staff is great! But their prices are exorbitant. I wanted to buy a pair of compression sock and they retail it for 46$, Walmart and amazon sell it for 30$. When asked for a price match/ discount, they couldn’t ! They got the product in from supplier for less than 30$, But 15-18$ markup!??? Brick and mortar would soon die? Updated: To your response, I don’t believe a customer should pay 16$ extra for a product priced 30$ at Walmart. As far as medical supply purchase is concerned, a compression sock bought at any store (online or brick & mortar) can be returned for an exchange, so I’m not yet sold on, on the fact, as to why one should pay 16$ extra markup. For trying it on?

You almost always find what you need. They are on the pricy end though

The pharmacist was very informative and spent a great deal of time making sure I knew how to use a new medication. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend them.

So there has been an uproar about issues with this pharmacy. Let me educate some of you, THIS IS NOT WALGREENS NOR RITEAID! They are not a chain pharmacy. When an insurance does not want to cover the full cost, this pharmacy doesn't have the overhead to cover the difference. They try their best to accommodate every patients needs even if that means tranfering their prescription to another pharmacy. Does that sound like they are money hungry to you? They are a small fish in a big world of corporate chains that can take the loss of $100's without batting an eye and insurance companies that feel they don't have to pay full price for a medication that a patient needs so desperately. Apparently people don't understand the reasoning behind this. They do the best with what they have. They even jump through hoops to get people their meds even when the patient waits until the last minute to refill their medication. The owners work their hardest to help everyone out!

I enjoy accompanying my friend to Beaverton Pharmacy where she gets her prescriptions filled. She bought her wheeled walker there. They have about every medical appliance you can think of. They also have a nice selection of gift items, scarves, and toys--all very classy.

I had read the reviews before I visited, found them when I was looking up the phone number. As I was leaving today I told them I was going to leave a review. I told them I had read some bad reviews but from when I called, to when I got to the store, everyone I spoke to was so helpful. I needed some empty fill syringes for filling my caps at home, I'm taking RSO for cancer and the lady behind the counter, I told her what I needed and though they didn't have the exact ones I had used before, the clerk brought all that she had available to me and we picked out some new ones for me to try. Also, I had this thought since I do crafting and miniature houses. These syringes are very inexpensive and I was thinking they would probably sell for much more at a craft store. Sometimes I need less than a drop of glue so not only for meds, but crafts too! Thank you Beaverton Pharmacy for being so sweet and helpful, whether on the phone or in the store.

Switched from Walgreens and don’t regret it one bit. Their staff is friendly and always finish my sons prescriptions in a timely manner. If they don’t have enough of something they let me know then we work something out. When I first moved here they did let me know that they don’t always have everything at hand so if I needed a refill to do it a few days in advance to give them time to order it. Never have had a problem with missing pills unless we talked about getting a partial. Love their gift area too! The pharmacists and their staff are helpful if I ever have questions!

I'd done business with Beaverton Pharmacy for several years, in part because I strongly prefer to support a local business wherever possible. However, I cannot continue to patronize BP. They are error-prone, and indifferent to those errors. Last year, after receiving a message that my prescription was ready for pickup, I went to the pharmacy, paid, and was walking out the door before I realized that they had not filled my prescription, and instead provided about half of the tabs that were ordered. Upon inquiry, I was told that what they had given me was the entirety of their stock at that time. I asked why I'd been sent a message saying my prescription was ready for pickup, and why I hadn't been told about the incorrect number at the point of sale, and got a shoulder-shrug in return. More recently, due to my heading out of the country for a month, I asked my doctor for a larger-than-normal number of tabs prescription as opposed to the regular number. Immediately after the doctor placed the prescription, I called the Pharmacy to ask whether the larger order would present an issue, and was told that it would not. The following day, I went to BP, and picked up the prescription. The day after, I realize that they've only supplied me half of what the doctor ordered. Heading back to the Pharmacy, I ask about the discrepancy, and am told that my "insurance only covers the smaller number." I ask why I was told the larger number wouldn't present an issue, and why the difference in number wasn't pointed out or discussed with me at the point of sale, and was told that my "insurance only covers the smaller number." Which, of course, is no answer at all. Beaverton Pharmacy is a local business in an environment of chain-pharmacies, and I do appreciate that. However, I can only recommend this establishment to those who have a good deal of extra time on their hands, and don't mind spending that time correcting others' mistakes. EDIT: I've read the Response from the owner. That the staff elected to do nothing to address my problems as they were occurring but that the owner offers and apology after the fact telegraphs an indifference to customer satisfaction but a sensitivity to online reputation.

Not good customer service today. The big lady with the big brown hair needs to go home and wake up on the other side of the bed. I’m sorry I inconvenienced you. Had I felt better, I would have let you know at the time. Greeting someone with” do you have something to buy” is not terribly warm and fuzzy. Thank you for your response. I doubt I will. But thank you. My advise nurse got the same treatment on the phone when she called to inquire about the prescription she had called in earlier in the day. Again we’re sorry we inconvenienced her.

Extensive offerings for home medical device and OTC medication needs such as support hosiery, personal hygiene needs and medicaments. Other items a bit like Walgreens. Prices can be higher than nearby Fred Meyer.

Excellent service. I called ahead to see if they had the medical supply I needed. They didn't, but did all the research for me, and saved me the trip. I will absolutely be going back when they do have what I need.

I have been patronizing this pharmacy for nearly 10 years and I was not happy with paying for a medication which they kept for 2 days which was their fault. They tod me it was going to be free and I still ended up paying for it and they are so slow. I may consider going to a different pharmacy

Jered Noonan

Very friendly, helpful staff. Great place.

Don't go here if you can't pay in cash even if you have insurance. They don't bill directly and expect you to pay for your stuff out of pocket.

Its daunting to have had two prescriptions on two separate occasions been short on the fill. I really was routing for this pharmacy since it isn't a chain. The first time they had to triple check and sure enough they admitted that they were short. This time, I noticed as soon as I got home I had X amount, but my script says X amount and it is a control substance now. There was no tampering with my bottle after receiving it from the assistants. My trust is gone with this store, they did review photos and thats about it. Some other construct criticism: Please wait for the patient to be ok with being on hold. Please provide staff that are efficiently trained. Please do not make it difficult for the patient to refill scripts by allowing auto refills.

I too have fallen short when trying to support this local business. They told me that they aren't making enough profit on my medicine so I have to get it filled somewhere else. The actual thing that happened, is that Linda, one of the pharmacists wrote down in my profile that she told me this, but she didn't. The manufactures coupon I used had expired and they didn't advise me of it expiring and they could have just called the help-desk phone number that they are given, but instead they just let me run out of medicine. Since the beginning, everyone but Patrick has been hard to work with. Samantha is rude as they come and I do not understand how she's still employed. I'm guessing she's related to one of the pharmacists. Samantha literally was rude and laughing at me when I needed my antidepressant medication over the phone today. She pushed me until I said something that allowed her to hang up on me. (not that people at this pharmacy show any respect at all, because they only care about money) I would not do business with this company.

Very quick, pleasant, and HELPFUL. I deal with many pharmacies in my work as a nurse, this is the first time they where so good I thought Id add a review.

Helpful staff, great gift section.

Horrible service. Just stood around waiting for help as the individual helped everyone around but me regardless of the fact I was there first. She sat there assisting a couple. I walked over and stood impatiently as she ignored me for 10 minutes or so continuously helping everyone around but me. Like I was just standing there for fun. After blatantly disregarding my pressence for so long I opted to just give up and walk out the door. This company will never receive my business. They need to hire some decent employees and teach them a thing or two about quality service.

Beaverton RX has everything you might need and some odd stuff too.

createaface

Friendly staff and always helpful or willing to get the prescription needed and order it if they are out of stock.

Foodie Guy

Great neighborhood pharmacy, where you can find whatever you need, or they will order it for you. They are a compounding pharmacy as well. Super helpful staff.
