I transferred my mom's prescriptions in and went there twice. The person I spoke to on the phone seemed pleasant and transferred them with no issues. The first time I went in, I felt rushed. One of the prescriptions was about a dollar more than I was used to paying, and the other one was ringing up as $25.00, which was ridiculous. They ended up giving me "their price" on some sort of "discount" thing, which was $10 for 90 days -- same as if I had gone to Walmart, so no big thing there. The second time I went in, a 90-day supply of my mother's water pill was $8.94, when she'd only been paying $1.99 for 30 at Walmart. So a couple extra bucks there. Then two of her other ones showed up as -- wait for it -- $25 even, each. Of course, that was "what her insurance came up as!" So again, they gave me their "special discount price". Since I just moved here, I didn't realize there was a Discount Drug Mart about 10 minutes from here. These people are pushy scam artists. This is why I DON'T "shop local". I go where the product is cheapest. And that BIG sign on the front door that screams "WE DO NOT STOCK OXYCODONE"? Speaks volumes for small, white town prejudice. Why not try "Hi, welcome to the Medicine Shoppe. We appreciate your business."

Best staff I could ever ask for. We were in town visiting and needed a medication that we'd forgotten at home. The staff was tremendously helpful in making sure we got all we needed. The kind nature of the staff was unexpected, but much enjoyed. Thanks for a great experience!

Love this pharmacy. I was hesitant at first because it seems smaller pharmacies are more expensive but it's no different in cost than Walmart or CVS for us. The staff are extremely helpful and the pharmacists are so kind and caring. Always quick to fill and never have to wait in line. Highly recommend!

Pharmacist is friendly and helpful. Takes a personal interest in the customer. Over the counter medicines and skin care products not always found in the chain drug stores. No frills, old fashioned feel. Takes most insurances.
