REVIEWS OF Tayloe's Hospital Pharmacy IN North Carolina

Great home town pharmacy. Been a Washington staple since I was a kid getting orange aids downtown. While skateboarding up and down main St.

Huge disappointment since it was sold or is operating under a different name. No problems before this. Wednesday called in a refill, was told it could be picked up the next day by 12:30. Went to pick up friday, no less than 8 employees behind the counter. I was first in line at pick up, stood there 10 minutes, was not acknowledged by any employee. Not told someone would be with me, nothing. Having been raised in a service business, and having owned a service business as an adult, it was unacceptable to me. I left. Returned saturday, a full 48 hours after i was told i could pick it up, was waited on promptly. But apparently they never applied a label...after another 15 minutes i left again. How disrespectful of my time. They are too busy, inefficient, or understaffed. I have had faster service walking into a drugstore with a prescription and having it filled. Not riding my bike there a 3rd time...if i ever get this prescription filled it will be the last time i go there for any reason. So disheartening. I rarely leave a negative for a business or service.

Unfriendly people. I don't see them smiling. I've never been greeted with a "how are you?" Now that they are O'Neals, maybe they will have better customer service. I hope so. I don't like having to get my prescriptions there.

This is a family oriented pharmacy. They serve the best butter pecan ice cream cones. All of the staff are nice and polite. They make you feel welcome as if you were a part of their family. They pharmacist don't mind going out of their way to do something for their customers. Love this place.

Best pharmacy in town. Pharmacist and staff are great. I have never had anyone be rude to me. We have to learn to be patient in some situations. The staff works very hard to make sure everything is right for their customers.

An old fashioned pharmacy. Good service and you can get a fountain drink while your prescription is being filled. Great drug prices.

The ice cream and vanilla cokes are awesome! Everyone is also really nice and welcoming!

I've been going to Tayloe's Drug for Vanilla Cokes since I was a kid (more than 40 years). Not living in Washington anymore, it was nice to stop in see traditions are alive and well at the soda fountain. I don't know anything about the rest of the place (otherwise I'd probably give it 5 stars), but they make the best Vanilla Cokes I've ever had (extra vanilla). And at less than a dollar for a large?! Whoever heard of such a thing! Best deal in town! Treat yourself to one plus the ENORMOUS ice cream scoop (also very cheap) that's been putting smiles on faces for decades.

I'd give it five stars but recently I went in there with my mom and these two girls took FOREVER to make a orange aid with a side order of attitude.

I went to get ice cream last Friday at 6pm and was told that the snack bar closes at 6pm. I went today at 5:50pm to get ice cream and an orange aide and was told the snack bar was closed. Me: I thought it closed at 6pm Employee: Yes, but we have shut everything down. Very disappointed!!

10/6/19 Asked for a milkshake and an orangeade w extra orange...I waited...she comes back sets it down, I pick up what i thought was a milkshake but it looked like she used water instead of milk to spin it with...but ive never gotten one as watered down as this was...lesson learned

I’ve been coming here since I was little kid for the best vanilla cokes, orangeades, and ice cream in all of Beaufort County. I would have given them 5 stars, but the past couple times I’ve gone to pick up my prescription it’s never ready. I’ll call at 9:30 and tell whoever answers that I’ll be there at noon and I only have a 30 min lunch. They tell me that they’ll go ahead and put it in so it will be ready when I get there. I even call again at 1130 to make sure it’s ready, but whoever answered the phone the first time I called never put it in. During this call I reiterate again that I only get a 30 minute lunch, and if I’m late returning to work from lunch 5 times then I’ll lose my job. You’d think a two hour heads up is more than enough time to fill a prescription, but when the staff never gives it to the pharmacist until I show up (at this point I’m already 10 min into my lunch break), it’s no surprise that it’s not ready when I get there. Now not all members of the staff/receptionists are like this. I know of this one very sweet lady that answers the calls and if tells me she’ll put my prescription in to be filled, then it will be ready when I get there, and I don’t have to stress to make it back to work on time. Sorry for the rant, but this has been an ongoing issue the past 3-4 months. Other than that, they’ve always been a pleasure to do business with
