I'm not writing a good review because this Ingles is convenient. Earning a good review should come with operating a good business. Where it is located is just a small part. I read other reviews and people are so grateful that Ingles opened here that they are willing to give up the idea of good service, prices and a friendly environment. The deli counter is a lesson in patience. Their service is slow. I'm convinced the slow service is to get you to grab the pre-packaged boars head meat right at your fingertips instead of waiting. Price per/pound almost double. Lunch time at the sandwich area is brutal. Western NC is going to have to pass new labor law allowing 1.5 hours for lunch because getting a sandwich here might take you 45 minutes if you come around noon. Cashiers? The people who check you out between complaining, flirting with each other, congregating around the special office area or just not having an interest in understanding customers are the only reason employees have jobs. Once you get checked out, 1-2 items per/bag 30 bags and you are good to go. But wait. If you look closely you will usually find a bad register ring amount. Did you know that at Ingles if its wrong its free. Make sure you watch the scans, There is always a mistake somewhere. Processed foods. It might be the consumer who is creating the demand, but I still enjoy cooking fresh foods. Does everything have to be in a refrigerator section, vacuum packed, pre-marinated, frozen or processed? A trip to Hendersonville is worth not having to stay local

Store is clean, well-stocked, and has a decent selection. Staff is friendly and attentive. I subtracted a star since, unlike most Ingles I frequent, their deli and hot foods selection along with the cafe area is very limited. Considering it's location and the lack of a quick bite in this vicinity, it seems they would capitalize on the situation by offering more items.

Great deli counter with a full salad bar. Cafe seating inside. Very large variety of food to choose from- even sushi! Reasonably priced meal. Grocery store has a humongous selection of products. There's a gas right outside. Very clean, very nice place!

Hard to review a grocery store but I can tell you this place is amazing. They have items I've not seen at many other Ingles or grocery stores. They have items that rival Whole Foods. They are almost always stocked up and ready to serve. Cleanest grocery store I've visited. Items are always fresh and nicely displayed. Beer and wine selection to rival most liquor stores. Hard-to-find items for health and beauty, as well.

We have been wandering around the mountains in Western North Carolina. We discovered Ingles Market. We rapidly became fans. Not so much for the grocery shopping, though we were impressed by the cleanliness and the variety of merchandise and the wine selection and the gasoline prices, but for the selection of prepared foods. When we travel, and we travel a lot, there are times we tire of restaurants and just want to eat in or picnic on the road. That can often translate into a lunch salad or sub sandwich. Ingles has you covered. Everything is fresh, tasty and ready to go. Want something to take back for dinner, perhaps on the deck, with a bottle of wine? Ingles has you covered. A rotisserie chicken or turkey breast or pork roast, perhaps? Or fried rice and sesame chicken? So many choices. Perhaps just a chicken salad sandwich? Or cold cuts? You get the idea.

We've been in lake lure for the past 60+ years. It's nice to finally have a proper grocery store year round. Great selection and prices are good(not great). Staff can be hit or miss as a lot of the younger people working here act like they hate their life and it shows in their attitude. That said the bakery department is awesome, I special ordered a cake for the girlfriends birthday and they went above and beyond. Try the seafood, it's actually priced at what you'd pay on the coastal side of NC.

Ingles is my favorite supermarket. This is my first visit to this location, and I was not disappointed! It was a little more expensive than I'm used to, but I chalk that up to it's location in a vacation area. Bought roses and cupcakes, both of which were soft and fresh.

When I asked if they could add cash to my prepaid visa (which all major retailers can) without a singe thought I was told by 3 separate (child) employees, almost in unison - NO. Without any attempt to check there facts or explanation why, they promptly directed me to the nearest dollar tree. So helpful

Great location. Had to visit more times that I would have liked to due to a low quality cabin rental. Though I’d recommend staying away from anything branded Laura Lynn, the store has a great selection. We interacted with 4 cashiers, all were incredibly friendly and personable.

They have a wide inventory and are generally well stocked. The employees are always helpful. They have a food bar for a quick meal, including lots of healthy options. Their produce is good and they buy from local farmers. There's a pharmacy and a good health and beauty section. They have a large selection of wine and beer including lots of Carolina wineries and breweries. Prices are generally reasonable.

5☆ If you look at my reviews and you will see that I give most all the Ingles markets a pretty good rating... 《Not Chesnee,SC.》 But ALL INGLES people are always Nice, Caring, Professional, and Friendly.. I specifically walked up into the section where two people were working and the gentleman turned around it turned out to be one of the managers.. I saw his name is Alan he was excellent with me = just as I have come to know all angles employees are. I know the manager that works at the store in the area I live his name is Ken . It seens Ingles only hires Decent, Hard Working, Wonderful and Warm people to work at their stores.. Every time I go to an Ingles it is a good experience... In conclusion, this Ingles is not any different than all the others that I have a good experience within.. The food was spot-on. All the products right where I want them and right where I need them to be. :-).. I can't say enough good about the Ingles store and at a good price too.. ;-) . In Final, Ingles pay attention here - These are the little things that brings us back and support you :-). Thank you Alan at the Lake Lure Ingles.. We feel this gentleman definitely deserve a raise in pay.:-) We were there on our anniversary and all you did was make it so much better with your good help.. :-)

This park is kept up nice for the people and community to use it. They do not overcharge for birthday parties here and welcome all sorts of sports for practicing. The only suggestion i truly have is to improve the conditions of the fields for baseball. The fences and dugouts could use some updating.

This is really your only option in the Lake Lure and the surrounding area, fortunately it’s an excellent one. The store has a massive selection of groceries, wide isles, good service, and outstanding auxiliary departments. The meat, produce, and bakery sections are outstanding. I found the prices a tad high, but it’s a really nice store and sale items are well priced. I definitely recommend, but it’s not like you have a choice.

We rented a cabin in Lake Lure via Airbnb for a few nights, so we stopped at Ingles for food and snacks. This is a REALLY nice store with friendly and helpful staff. It is super clean and large. They have lots great prepared fruit and veggie snacks as well as nuts and so much more. They also have a salad bar and other prepared food. They have anything you might need.

Won’t be back. Nice new store in Hendersonville, NC. Had lunch in their cafe, excellent, reasonable. My problem is twofold. 1- the ongoing Ingles saver card or whatever, ostensibly a device to not overpay for stuff and today the deal breaker WINE purchase.. No explanation from the casheir, bottles set aside for somebody to come and “key” the OK. Ridiculous, embarrassing. If you can’t authorize a wine purchase at the POS, you’re in the wrong biz. See you at Publix, half mile south.

I give this grocery store 2 stars. This store is way over priced on their goods. I've noticed the same item being less in Hendersonville or Forest City. Also, this has the ONLY available gas station for several miles. The store and gas station say 7:00am. They don't end up opening the gas station uh until 20 minutes after 7. Either change the time or be there at 7 ready to work.

This Ingles is clean and full of everything you need to stock your shelves with great deals on all items most of the time. Full service deli and florist. Butcher shop has best meat in area. The staff is always friendly and will to take extra time and will unload cart when checking out. Self service checkout available.Large ice cream selection. Nice managers always on duty. Lots of parking. Clean restrooms. It's really a good store.

My experiences here were a bit mixed...this was a very nice store and very clean! The aisles were immaculate and the produce sections were very fresh. They had a lot of items on sale...which is where our problems came in. Apparently the managers here don't scan the sale items correctly, therefore resulting in overcharges on tickets. My friend and I were overcharged for a sale item, and it took two people to run back and check the sign to verify it was, in fact, on sale. Thankfully we were given our money back, but please double check your tickets when you check out!

While we were staying at a resort nearby they told us about this grocery store. We were expecting a teeny store but this store was amazing and had everything we needed. Many of the workers said hello/asked if we needed anything/helped us find things. They even had many frozen vegan options which I thought was cool. They had fresh almond butter, fresh cookies and donuts, a salad bar, wedding cakes, anything you could need.
