Before filling any prescription, I always check with Elm Drug. I often fill prescriptions without my insurance because it is usually less expensive. The pharmacists are very helpful. I like supporting a local business rather than some behemoth corporate chain.

They often give a “scattered brain” response when I’ve called in to check on the status of my medications and they don’t deliver very timely. Seems like Elm is built for in store service more so than also servicing customers who can’t travel to pick up they’re medications

Susan B. I have been a customer of Elm Drugs for over 11 years. The pharmacists Elena and Fernando always go out of their way to do anything they can to assist me and always make my life easier. Elena, Fernando and Eva are always very pleasant and patient with me and my family whether it be by telephone or in person. I travel over an hour each way to use Elm Drugs and I wouldn't go anywhere else. It's well worth the trip. I can recall many times when I was dealing with insurance difficulties and the staff always goes above and beyond to rectify the problem and save me anxiety. I truly can't say enough about Elm Health, Elena, Fernando and Eva. They are truly amazing, very intelligent and knowledgeable. I can never truly express my sincere gratitude for all they do and have done for me and my family.

I used to be resigned to long lines and blasé service at big-chain pharmacies. But then, in frustration, I took a chance on Elm Drugs, which I knew nothing about except it was in my neighborhood. And it was a REVELATION! The expertise and service are impeccable. I could hardly believe it in this age of the slip-shod and impersonal. I'll never switch from Elm Drugs for my prescriptions!

I have used many pharmacies within Manhattan. This is by far the best pharmacy for caring and service. I can easily text or email the pharmacist and not have to be bothered calling. I prefer Elm as they are accredited as a specialty pharmacy which is probably why they follow up providing such good service. I think it's great. Thanks Elm!

ordered diet suplement at pharmacy. approached them personally tree times over the course of tree weeks and each time they assured me - "it will come within X business days (where X was between 3 and 5)". i gave up after the 3 weeks since i had to leave nyc. do not recommend. they say words but no truth behind them.

I definitely recommend Elm Drugs. They're local, the service is *fast* (in and out in under 15 minutes every time), and they carry some difficult to find prescriptions. Prices for medication not covered by insurance are normal. A little more than chain pharmacies, but you're paying for professional pharmacists - not some post-high-school kid punching the clock. The pharmacists know what they're doing, and aren't afraid to give you the business if they have a constructive comment to make. I've argued with them, but they remain professional. If you have insurance, there is zero reason to not use this pharmacy.
