Albertsons has officially stepped up it's grocery store game, and it's kicking the crud out of the competition. The remodel/ rebrand is fabulous! The pre-made and made-while-you-wait meal options are wonderful and include rice & noodle bowls, BBQ, sandwiches, pizza, sushi and more. They have a salad bar, a soup bar, an antipasto bar. The muffins are great, especially the orange cranberry. If you opt for the GIANT cinnamon roll, be sure to grab extra napkins. The pharmacy staff is friendly and very helpful, and are more efficient than CVS. They have lots of fresh organic produce which is competitively priced with Whole Foods but a bit more expensive than Sprouts. This store is bringing back the days when someone offered to help carry and load your groceries which is lovely if you're a senior or if the weather is bad. There are also folks wandering to help you find what you need or to answer questions. The flower department is stocked and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this updated grocery store. They've done a great job in creating a one-stop shopping destination. You might even catch the pianist who is sometimes playing in the produce section. I'm not kidding.

This is now my favorite place to go grocery shopping in Santa Fe. I drive all the way from Rancho Viejo to shop here, happily passing Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and other grocery stores on the way. What sets this store apart is the overall shopping experience, which is positively tranquil and friendly, especially in comparison to Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s, which both offer the rudest and most stressful grocery experiences ever. I don’t know if it’s just the clientele or if the crowded atmospheres generate rudeness and a desire to get out of those stores quickly, but the customers at WF and TJ’s are generally unable to act in a pleasant manner or even crack a smile. I feel as if I’m shopping in New York City at those stores. At Market Street, however, the customers have been pleasant, friendly, and able to acknowledge that there are other human beings in their presence, rather than averting their eyes or pretending that other people don’t exist. The store setup fosters a more pleasant, unhurried experience with normal-width aisles, flooring that doesn’t amplify sound, and mellow music. There’s always a store employee nearby to assist, if necessary, and every encounter I’ve had has been friendly, professional, and helpful. The employees here seem to like their jobs and take pride in their work. One employee just started helping me unpack my grocery cart one day, unasked. Assistance with pushing your cart to your vehicle and unloading is also always offered. The checkout clerks are friendly and professional, and happily engage in small talk. The parking here isn’t perfect, but it’s not the “Will I get a parking space or will I be able to maneuver my vehicle into a tiny spot” sort of experience I’ve found elsewhere. Regarding products sold, their pre-made foods are surprisingly tasty, which is something I didn’t expect, and their selection of organic produce, while not nearly as good as Whole Foods, is more than adequate to meet my needs. Their general merchandise section is quite extensive, enough so that I’ll have no need to go to Walmart or Target to purchase non-food items. I’d gotten out of the habit of writing reviews, but felt compelled to write a glowing one for this store. Whether we like it or not, a bad grocery shopping experience can cast a shadow on a person’s day, while a positive one can brighten it up. Market Street goes a long way in brightening up the drudgery of grocery shopping. I’m a new, loyal fan!

This Albertson's was clean and spacious with a good selection. We bought fresh limes and they had been picked over fairly well but we did find good ones. The liquor section had the mixer we needed but the layout of that section was a little hard to search. Service was fast and friendly.

I like not love, but like Market Street. I like how they now offer food there. When the transition to Albertsons to Market Street they we’re filly operational with many cashiers, and now they only have like 3 cashiers. Also the Starbucks in there is ok and fine. One lady who makes the coffee is very rude and is SOOOO SLOW BUT VERY, VERY RUDE. Although it is a nice store.

This is fairly average Albertsons' by national standards... on the surface. For me, what really stands out is the beer department which is excellent. It's a whole separate area of the store and there are a ton of really nice options. Prices tend to be as good or better than any other beer retailer in town. While I've only encountered only a couple nice finds here, the regular offerings are pretty good.

The produce employee that works mornings is seriously on something and needs to be checked. He seems like he is not there mentally and is on drugs.. Very lazy! Doesnt comprehend what your asking. Doesnt seem like he even knows anything about produce or his job. I asked for help and he looked at me like I was speaking to a wall. He ended up leaving and never came back. I waited for 10 minutes finally had to ask for someone else help. How can you guys allow someone to represent your company this way. I will be taking this up to corporate.

Before the Guadalupe store was converted from Albertson's it was so-so. Now that they have gone to the new format the selection in produce, deli and meats has improved enormously. Overall, a much better store in every way. Also, it is nice to see that they haven't gone the way of self checkout like Smith's. They do need to bring back the shopping cart return spaces in the lot.

Overall the store has pretty good selection of items. Can find a lot of keto related products in the health section. It loses a couple stars because it's prices are pretty high compared to other regular grocery stores, some of the store brands are low quality like cheese, and they use a lot of corn syrup in the deli products.

Friendly workers, helpful workers. Unfortunately, products are continually being juggled from place to place making it difficult for regulars to keep track where to find items for a quick in and out. Also, still very short staffed on the check-out registers. 13 bays, you're lucky to find 4 or 5 of them open during busy hours or holidays. When management was approached about this by a number of customers, individually, we each compared our "stock corporate" answer of being short staffed, were working on it, and we are hindered by the union. Sadly, it is the least expensive (but not by much) supermarket in the North section of town. Change can be good IF done with studied thought. There has apparently been little thought to the traffic flow within the "new" interior design as aisles will be hidden behide a "fresh market restaurant" and a frozen food section way at the end of pharmacy aisles, with the pharmacy remaining very inconveniently located through a maze of clutter. Millions of dollars spent on extremely poor design and access. More handicap parking has been and will be in dire need. Update: as of November 2018, things jave settled and it has blossomed into a nice upscale "market". House brand foods, lesser priced than main stream brands are comparably very good. Offerings are plenty and produce, cold cut, bucher departments are a throwback to being The real markets of yesteryear. Still a bit of an issue with the checkout aisles during busy times, but at least they are faster. This Christmas holiday season, magnificent live piano music filled the air as we shopped. Even got to talk with the pianist. So much more wonderful than the usual canned backgroumd music piped over bad public address sound systems.

I was disappointed that a store of that size has only 3 electric shopping carts, 2 of which were ”out-of-order", not uncharged but broken, when I visited the store. I spoke with the manager who tried to be accommodating. I told him I will check back next week to see if the carts are fixed.

I find this story to be particularly expensive I'm not quite sure why but my food bill is always higher than I expect it to be. It is also usually quite busy so I avoid shopping here but when I do come it's in the early mornings. The service isn't bad but I don't think the selection of products are any better than anywhere else. Just meh for me.

Large supermarket not far from Santa Fe historic down town. Has very wide variety of grocery products, and household needs including cooked meals, prepared salads. It has even Starbucks inside with seating area. The store is very clean, very well organized with wide isles. Staff friendly and efficient. Given it is in shopping center parking is ample.

Coming from Los Alamos, Albertsons was a breath of fresh air in certain aspects. The flowers/plants were very lovely. I love the very full bags of whole bean coffee. The toy/seasonal/ candy aisles were awesome. The rotisserie chicken was excellent. I loved the pistachio almond ice cream and will be back for more!

Market street catered my daughter's wedding on Saturday July 6th 2019. They were awesome our servers Irene and Jacob did the most amazing job taking care of us. Our menu was Texas barbeque and the food was delicious. There was so much food everyone ate twice n some people took food home. The price and people were amazing. Every time we come to Santa Fe, we stop at this Albertson's to buy flowers to take on a visit to the National Cemetery across the street. They have a nice large selection of container ready bouquets just for this purpose, that are priced to sell. We are always pleased. So just for this run in shopping trip, this store is perfect. The parking lot is always full as the store is very busy. As part of the De Vargas Center, it has plenty of space. Restrooms are clean and they are a convenient stop before going to the cemetery. On behalf of my loved ones at the cemetery, thank you for this service.

I am never going back there. Overpriced and low quality especially the produce! I found rotted fruit and vegetables. Obnoxiously faux upscale. The store layout makes no sense, can't find anything without help. And a concierge? Please. Give me a break. Three strikes and you're out in my book. I'd rather go to Walmart! And I hate Walmart (mostly due to size but it is fine quality)! I'm warning all my friends off this poser of a store. Oh, and THE unhealthiest plants outside too, and this is planting seasons. No excuse for this atrocious store!
