A very complete market although the meat department is a little thin and the wine department has a nice selection but a little thin. Everything else is great! Love the produce and fresh fruit. Every albertsons I walk into they profile me based on age. I go to buy alcohol and 3 employees circle around asking for my ID then proceed to tell me it's the law in order to even look at alcohol. Once I showed them my ID they still stand around watching me. I have yet to be harassed like albertsons does everytime I try to buy alcohol. Then i watch the employees mock me when I told him it's not the law and I only need to provide ID at the time of purchase. Go to Smith's, the staff are way more friendly and the prices are much better. 1 star is still to much for the disrespect from this establishment.

Albertsons seems to be rebranding itself and they're going a great job of adding more organic choices. I was really impressed with the remodel also. Not all Albertsons seem to be upgrading but the one on Holly near TJs off Psseo and the one on Academy off Tramway are really nice

It's an excellent store that contains a variety of goods. The bakery sells fresh bread every day and I love coming here to get my daily groceries. My only concern is that only two or three cashiers are open at once, and this the lines are quite slow.

Never will I shop at Albertson’s. Went due to coupons mailed to me...this is probably the main reason I shopped at Albertsons. Three items rang in for more than stated, hence over charged. As I question the heavy set register person, he got so ticked off he left the register. This after I had to ask where the eggs were, which he told me next to the Pharmacy (pharmacy?). But also, while shopping had to search, search and search for the dairy person to restock milk...on a Sunday, this tends to be a very busy day at Smith’s, not at Albertsons. Then i needed ginger, none available along with scallion onions. What? Picked out 10 a okay Brussels sprouts, the rest should have been discarded. I’ll never go back, because I don’t want to be ripped off...their coupons won’t even help. We removed the groceries that we were overcharged for, out of our own bags, we packed ourselves as there we no sackers, and left.

This is my favorite Albertsons in Albuquerque behind the Paseo/Ventura location. The area feels safe and the store is very clean. The staff are beyond nice. For some reason, this store has a much different selection of products than the Albertsons closest to us. We are happy to stop here anytime!

Huge selection of packaged goods. The produce selection is pretty good as well. The liquor selection is ok and lacks variety and many higher end brands. The cashiers are great and the meat selection is pretty bad.

I feel bad giving such only 3 stars but here is why. First it can be rather busy at peak times. Not busy as in lots of people at the store, but simply at the checkout. I live the tellers, 3 is a crowd and sometimes even 1 ahead can lose you a ton of time. Second, you NEED to check the dates as they regularly have expired items on the shelf. I am not talking about the occasional low turn over item, I am talking about milk, canned goods, chips, meat..... The only reason I give it that third star (considering the above) is that the location is so close to high desert, and the store is not likely a high profit location.

It used to have a good deli section but lately it has been awful. I bought a 12 piece fried chicken box to take home to eat after my son's orchestra concert. I opened the box at home and there was only 8 small pieces of chicken. My receipt and the box show it was supposed to be 12 pieces. I have officially had it and I will gladly spend my money at other grocers who offer better service and cheat me out of food.

Silver-haired cashier sells super-on sale items by the dozens to employees, depriving customers of the product because it cleared the shelves of the items. In this case it was Era laundry liquid soap later in the evening operating hours. I Witnessed it with my own two eyes several months ago and asked the employee just how much laundry she needed to do...the USA ARMED FORCES? I think the older silver-haired cashier's name is Nancy at the Albertsons on Tramway and Academy in ABQ but not certain as she hides her name badge. You'll know of whom I am referencing when you see her. make sure you thank her for cheating shoppers out of great deals intended to reward your loyalty.

Although I don't shop at Albertsons often, this is nonetheless my preferred store for a number of reasons. It's well stocked, clean, well managed, and easy to navigate through. It sets quietly in the northeast area (near tramway) and is mostly free from the hustle and panhandling that takes place at most other Albuquerque grocery store locations. The only grievance I have is one that is so often associated with nearly every other major grocery/retails: not enough open check-out lanes. Despite this, the employees are well trained and tend to move the line along quickly.
