I have been using this pharmacy for some years now I get my scripts filled here every month and I love the customer service from here they will send someone to pick up your scripts and they will deliver them too they will delivery grocery also

We were visiting jersey city today when my seven year old son was stung by a wasp and had an allergic reaction. We were unaware of his sensitivity until today. The closest place to find help was the Downtown Pharmacy Essex street . We walked to the pharmacy and Pharmacist, Vera was very attentive by showing a sense of urgency toward my son. He asked several questions and provided counseling. He offered my son liquid Benedryl and suggested we go to an urgent care facility. It is a good thing we did as Vera suggested, as the reaction was intensifying. My son is doing a lot better this evening. Thanks Vera!

Customer service at both locations is fantastic. The workers... get this, actually care about your business. They will do whatever they can to help. I'd rather go here any day over Duane Reade /CVS.

Great place to get your misc items from basic cooking supplies. They have a good selection of bath products, soaps, shampoo etc etc. The pharmacy is good they didn't have an item in store but were able to order for the next day. Good selection is not the best quality but it's got the basics you may need if you're running low on eggs or milk.

I have never met any Phamercy like this before. They deliver your medication when you need it . They carry themselves very professional. I live in New York and most of the time i fill my prescriptions here just because of their service. Thank You Downtown Phamercy for your good Service. Do not use if you need a controlled medication. As of Thursday 6/7/18, they refused to fill a 30-day supply before a 30-day wait. (This means you have to keep a perfect 30-day rhythm forever, or eventually have to choose a day to do without the medicine. At least one nearby pharmacy allows up to 2 days extra for this reason; this also makes it possible to come regularly on the same weekday.) Aside from this serious problem, I had good experiences here. Service was polite and efficient.

Typical pharmacy that is comparable to CVS and Duane Reade in prices and products except this is not a chain. I'm surprized the prices are the same as those in NYC since this place is in the middle of no where - i.e. Jersey City, but I guess they have a monopoly in that neighborhood of Jersey City. I do get here one perscription purely out of convenience. So if you are nearby and need a perscription - try this place

This place has the best service. I am a customer at the 18 Park location and I must say I'm always pleased with them. Each time they don't have something, they order it very quickly. They are very helpful and professional! Highly recommend!

Living in Paulus Hook, this is my go-to shop when I need almost anything quickly. Downtown Pharmacy, along with having a great pharmacy and health section, is a "convenience" store in the truest sense of the word. They have a good selection of food, including organic and harder to find items, household supplies, and pretty much anything else you'd need day to day. That being said, this is a great place to go if you need to pick up a few things and don't want to run to the Pathmark or Shop-Rite. The only thing that would make this store better is if it were 24 hours - there are no 24 hour stores in Paulus Hook and it would be a great convenience to have!

A nice pharmacy and convenient store carrying a decent selections of daily essentials and basic grocery. Prices here aren't the cheapest, but the close proximity makes up for it. One minor gripe is its hours - they close really early on weekends (5 pm). On the positive note, staffs here are very friendly and helpful.

Both the Apples & Blueberries I purchased here were rotten/moldy. My dead goldfish from the 6th grade (RIP Bubbles) is probably fresher than some of their produce.

This is overall a very nice and reliable Pharmacy/mini store. It's always very easy to obtain my prescriptions. There's even a clean restroom that the customers can use. The pharmacy staff is always extremely friendly and helpful, but the front store staff was not friendly at all

This pharmacy carries all the essentials including specialty items and enough groceries to make a meal. Prescriptions are filled quickly and the pharmacists are helpful!

They actually go out of their way to help a customer who is in pain. At times when they do npt have the right product, they either arrange it from their other location or gladly advise you to look at other pharmacies. Good variety of packed groceries but would love to see more produce.
