This pharmacy is the ONLY source that I could find online for Gabapentin miniTabs. This medicine has made a big difference in my old arthritic sheltie's quality of life. But with her 3 pills a day and Carprofen as well; purchasing this medicine from the Vet is VERY expensive. CareFirst Pharmacy offers both at a pretty reasonable price. Even though the Carprofen isn't listed on their website, it is available and at comparable price to other online pharmacies. Shipping cost is cheap as well. Saves me ALOT of money and helps keep her comfortable. A Win Win !!!

I was able to find my dog's medication at CareFirst pharmacy for a fraction of the price as the leading brand. My dog needs to take 20mg of trilostane twice a day and they were able o make this compounded medication for me at the exact dosage. Vetoryl does not come in that dosage and is soooo expensive. I would not be able to treat my dog's cushings if it weren't for CareFirst Pharmacy. The customer service is some of the best I've received as well. They are always polite and willing to help. I totally recommend this place!

My experience with CareFirst Specialty Pharmacy has been Great!! Not only did we find the medication the Vet ordered at an affordable price but also was delivered quickly. We were running low on a medication because the dosage had been increased. Of course it was a Friday evening when I called CareFirst Specialty Pharmacy I spoke to Trisha who was so helpful. She asked the Pharmacist Mike if he could get it compounded and sent to us ASAP. We got the medication before my fur baby ran out of the medication thanks to both Trisha and Mike! Great job! I've been having a hard time getting my medication. I am so pleased with this pharmacy. I spoke with a young lady named tricia today around 11am who was very pleasant and very helpful with all of my questions. noone else seemed to know anything so I was happy she knew what she was talking about and could explain in detail what was going on. She set me up with a profile and called my doctor for the prescription. By 3pm I got a call that I would be receiving my medication by Wednesday. ! I was so happy to have found the right one to speak to. Very knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and caring ! 5 stars. All the way. Please keep up the great work. I know im in great hands. :) I also just found out they do pet meds to for a fraction of what the vet charges I just told my brother about it he will be calling Monday morning definitely ;)

CareFirst has always treated me in a very respectful, personable, and helpful manner. I get three medications for my dog from them and have for several years. My daughter also gets her dog’s medications there. Convenient and much cheaper to get them from CF through the mail compared with a pharmacy and/or vet. I can reorder by phone through a recording or a person. If CF is closed at the time I order, I can leave my request anyway. I’m notified by email that my order was received and the estimated time of its arrival. If my prescription has expired, CF calls my vet for me. If I have a question, it’s answered in a satisfactory manner by someone knowledgeable who seems unhurried and patiently and completely answers my questions and follows through on any requests. Very dependable and reachable people at CF. I highly recommend them!!!

My Yorkie was diagnosed with Cushings Disease. He has to be on medication for the rest of his life and it is very difficult to determine and regulate the dosage. After his last blood test the veterinarian wanted to change him to 20 mg of Trilostane daily. Unfortunately, the manufacturer of this medication for veterinary use only makes it in 5, 10, 30 and 60 mg capsules. I would have had to buy two 30 packs of 10 mg capsules which was prohibitively expensive. I was desperate and googled how to get a 20 mg dose of trilostane for my dog and up cam CareFirst Specialty Pharmacy. I contacted them and they called me back within a few hours. They were able to make the medication in a 20 mg dose that is scored in quarters. That way, if his dose needs to be adjusted up or down it can be done easily. They contacted my vet for the script and I received the medication within 3 days. They even called to make sure I got it and again to see how it was working. I can't say enough about how wonderful this pharmacy is. I will use them every single chance I get. Highly recommend.

I have never dealt with a more dedicated, responsive, ethical pharmacy team; Bob and Don. My toddler grandson was down to a two-day supply of his much needed medication. His Dr works at a large hospital and was hard to reach. We needed a new script sent to CFS asap, and it took us a full business day to get that script sent to CFS. The CFS team offered to contact the hospital directly -- anything to get this script quickly. Once they had it, they moved mountains to get the drug to my grandson on time. They constantly stayed in touch with me through the whole laborious process and gave us a price that was much lower than the retail pharmacy we'd dealt with in the past. In summary, they treated this situation as if the drug was for one of their own family.
