This place needs to be audited for billing/insurance/co_pays etc. DC'd my medication for over 3 months... No explanation... Only hiding all my medical records /billing statements etc. Any one else please contact (me) or legal assistance asap. Looking for other clients involved with ADAP, Access to HC. HealthPlan of NV that were denied refills of meds. Audit needs to be done, explanations are needed.

I went in with my son and thought the place looked decent. After getting to the back I got this lady named RADHIKA SIDDHARTHAN who kept on questioning me about my religious beliefs. It was the most awkward experience of my life regarding a doctor. After telling her I didn't want to discuss my beliefs with her she kept going at it until I finally got up and left. She tried to have my wife sign a paper saying we were knowingly putting our child at risk after I left the room but she knows how these doctors work and didnt sign anything. We wont be going back there and hope no one else does

Wish I could give O ZERO stars, this facility is definitely lackiing competent doctors with minimal experience, that's if your lucky enough to see one! Nurse practioners are very inadequate, don't feel they have the skills or experience in providing excellent health care. I went during the recession when I lost my job and insurance, beggers can't be choosey. Highly reccomend finding a real doctor if you want real medical care!

Impossible to become a new patient, especially if you have any other working hours then that of a doctor's office. Turn away, dont try, worst experience ever, how is this legal?

They have improve on their waiting time about the receptionist they have change a lot but some of them still need to learn some manners , the doctors are great I really like Dr McDonnell he's very professional he gives the enough time to his patient and explains very well the situation , the lady on lab it's very sweet , pharmacy also very nice .

Amazing. Called a few seconds after it turned 8 to schedule a clinic visit. Waited for about 5-10 minutes only to be told all their spots have been filled.

Probably one of the best places in town for LGBT+ sensitive care, sexual healthcare, and just affordable care in general. I've been going there for HRT management and for my primary care since moving to Reno 3 years ago. I have never needed to worry about my finances when receiving care there, since they are willing to work with your financial situation in order to make sure that you keep receiving care when you need it. Also it's the only place in town I know of that reliably, quickly and willingly provides PEP in emergency situations, as well as PREP for those who ask. I've brought friends to HOPES for treatment before in these kinds of emergencies, and they were greatly helpful.

They take the time to treat you like a person not just another appointment revolving door like St. Mary's. Initially it takes persistence and patience to get that first PCP visit but once you you do healthcare is no longer a worry. HOPES does not dispense or practice pain killer medicine however so if you are just looking to get those prescription narcotic pain killers filled, don't waste your time here.

I had a wax problem with my ears. I went to another clinic that cleared out one ear and said that the other one wasn't bad. That other ear got worse. I went to HOPES and the doctor said I had lots of wax but just gave me antibiotics. At some point a whole formed inn my ear drum. Noticed it when came home from work and tried to clear my 'ears' using the diver's pinched nose method. I went back and the next doctor said I suddenly had no wax in my ears and my eardrums were all messed up. This dark short haired rude doctor gave me some ear drops and nasal spray telling me that my eardrums were suddenly deformed for unknown reasons, while laughing with an assistant. When I asked the receptionist for a summary of my ear condition the doctor sent back a message that she couldn't see due to the infection? The last treatment has had minimal effect. At first things felt better now they seem worse.. I am wondering if this doctor is competent. She had no opinion without consulting a computer. When I went back they couldn't see me except set up an appointment with only the same doctor at the end of the month that just began! Is that some kind of malpractice avoidance technique? They are supposed to take walk ins but when I went as such an assistant spend half an hour chatting with me and talking about possible physiological and financial assistance guidance? I need someone competent to look in my ears.... ! They can act very nice at times but they don't seem really competent in the practice of medicine. Tax payer money...?

The pharmacy and clinic were amazing in helping me get my husband his meds and getting it transferred to the mail order meds.

As a 21 year old person, I typically am fairly relaxed and very flexible. Within the last 2 years of doing HRT through this hospital, I have experienced firsthand how difficult the staff can oftentimes be; especially over the phone. This hospital does not list its departments hours separately, most notably the pharmacy. This creates oftentimes confusing situations when for example, you google the phrase "Hopes Pharmacy Hours". It lists the hospital hours and not the pharmacy's. In addition, over the last few years the hospital keeps changing its closing hours so there is very little consistency. Above all else is the fact that staff in the hospitals pharmacy is very often gone between 5 to 10 minutes before it states that it closed. The staff has Always been entirely unwilling to accommodate a patient during this time. Best summarized, the pharmacy staff specifically, suffer from a huge case of unwillingness to do their jobs. Ive had numerous issues with obtaining my medication and have finally had it enough to go forward with making this to post here when in reality it will probably never be seen. Be warned, the pharmacy staff Suck!!! But affordable pricing is what still makes this place a godsend.

I called at 8:11 am and they told me to call at exactly 8am because they only had 2 appointments open (not sure for what day, but that, apparently, was their complete limit). So don't get your "Hope" up.

A circus without the acts . fake smiles. The money is good for the hopes employees and employers buts the quality of professionalism towards the publics SUVs towards the patients sucks where is the people skills people you lack people come on what where did you get you're career cradentialds to deal with patients (SANDBOX) that's why you become Dr and nurses is because you care for people not because of money or maybe you're on the wrong field in the line. Of work move on . ita

I would give less than one star if I could. I called only several minutes after 8am, at 8:06, to schedule an appointment, and was basically told to call back on Monday since it wasn’t 8am anymore (I really only have a one minute window to schedule an appointment?) she was not helpful at all, did not direct me anywhere else. She was silent for moment after saying this, then said “ok, goodbye” and just hung up. I would not reccomend going here for healthcare needs when they cannot even answer a phone call correctly. Also, she did not even know what kind of insurance they take when I asked if they took mine! What kind of receptionist at a healthcare facility doesn’t know what kind of insurance they take?

Heather Salas

Th8s place is an absolute joke! Little teeny bopper MA's that try to pass as nurses and doctors only care about you coming back so they can get paid! The doctors would rather comitt negligence then to offer to help you after they leave you sitting in an exam room for an hour and 50 minutes! You are better off going to a street doctor

rebecca mcelreath

Very disappointed in this place. Then Only way to become a new patient is to call at 8am everyday to get an appt for the next day and then wait until you get through and are “chosen”. I called at 8am on the dot even a few seconds before only to sit on hold for 7 mins to be told they no longer have any appts for new patients. I was then told that the new appt are like a radio station it’s hit or miss if you get one, so good luck. This is a drs office how unprofessional!!!!!

This is the WORST patient care I've ever experienced. Starting with the appointment desk personnel, pharmacy and staff... Do they ever fill a prescription in under 24 hours... Patient portal is almost worthless for getting your own test results to review... Etc... I have private insurance now and will never come back here again. Who do they serve? Themselves? It sure isn't good patient care and management.

I've been going to Hopes ChangePoint for almost a year now. They have been awesome. Every time I've gone I was in and out in under 15 minutes. They maintain a high level of discretion and considering most of the individuals that go to change point are incredibly secretive and for good reason, discretion is of the utmost importance. They also offer free testing for HIV and hepatitis c, they provide free condoms, hygiene kits, naloxone (for those who know someone that are in danger of potentially overdosing from opiates or they themselves are at risk) and other useful information as well as provide a sharps collection and change out for new sharps. For everyone reading this that uses sharps or know someone that uses sharps please dispose of your sharps in a designated place! Do not leave your sharps in public places, throw them out of your car window, put them in trash cans, leave them in parks, or otherwise reckless and careless about your disposal. Be mindful that there are children and animals that could potentially come across one of your sharps and seriously injure themselves or God forbid contracted disease and it was 100% could have been prevented had you dispose of your sharps in any of the designated disposal areas. You can get a list of designated sharps disposal places from HOPES or you can also look them up on Google. #SAFETYFIRST #SHARPSCHANGEPOINT #SYRINGEEXCHANGE #ENVIRONMENTALLYFRIENDLY #BEMINDFULOFOTHERS

IMPOSSIBLE to make a new patient appointment. You have to call exactly at 8am. You wait on hold for 10 minutes or more. Just to be told all the appointments are made. That you have to try again tomorrow and go through the same routine, that they have limited appointments and that they have 60+ people who call daily. Also if you do not want an appointment today due to your schedule they will not make future appointments the will fit your schedule. This is not a leader in medical care for you or anyone as far as I'm concerned. I will be searching elsewhere for a primary care physician. I will not be suggesting this place to anyone. Especially if they need to get established.

Shari Lambert

I've been going here for 5 years. Best care no wait time. At least with my doctor dr. Christina silsby. X-rays on site. Lab on site.

I was very hesitant in going to this clinic. HAWC put a bad taste in my mouth years ago, so this one didn't appeal to me. I took my toddler to see Rhadika (not sure of the spelling) on the pediatrics side, and she was AWESOME. Very nice, genuine, and down to earth. She was very thorough and I just really loved her. We 'lost' our pediatrician, but Rhadika's awesomeness makes that not matter. I also saw a doctor on the clinic side. Don't remember her name unfortunately. She was also very thorough and nice. Facility overall is clean, which is awesome considering the word 'clinic' gives me a dirty, grimy feeling and it's also located in a grimy type area. Wait time was near non-existent as we were pulled back at almost exactly the appointment time. Overall, I had a great experience, I will go back and refer others.

Very frustrating, call 1 minute before 8 only to be put on hold for ten minutes, then be told they have allready filled their new patient slots. And all three times I have called at 1 min till eight, they have been rude and uncaring. Not a facility I want to go to. I will wait to get into a regular, PROFESSIONAL, Dr’s office.

This place might be OK but I'll never know since I can't even get in. Called yesterday, was told to call back today at 8am. Called no later than 8:05am today, waited on hold for 12 minutes, was told they were already booked!! Really? Calling within 5 minutes can make the difference in getting an appt or not? I wish I had been told it was that cutthroat since I waited around a whole day with a serious infection on my hand and I can't wait anymore. Now I'll probably have to go to urgent care, which I can't afford right now.

Nicole Ting

Impossible to get into. Then when or if you do get in super long wait to get things scheduled. Non-helpful support staff. I would only recommend going if it's VERY last option.

kbuggs1234 .

Just trying to get an appointment has been a nightmare. They tell you to call at 8:00 A.M. for a next day appointment. When you call at 8:00 A.M. your immediately directed to a phone prompt, then when you try and schedule an appointment you wait on hold. When someone finally answered the phone at 8:08, they told me that all of the appointments for tomorrow were booked and to call back tomorrow. Really, all open slots were booked in 8 mins. When I told the person on the phone I have been trying for 3 days in a row, at 8:00 A.M. to get an appointment for someone, she responded by saying that their system so they can cut down on no shows...really this is the best system you can come up with to stop no shows...so people that want to show up have to go through this nightmare of a process and I'm sure people who really need and want help give up because this place wants to cut down on no shows....why not bill people/insurance upfront or ask for a credit card to ensure people will show up... There has to be a better process than this.

Becca Satterlee

Not happy with results for myself on care. They are a joke.

Hope's use to be a place of hope! With the new building, came a lacking in all aspects. Now it just a business, and an endless pass the "where here to help" rhetoric. Calls are not returned (even after three or four attempts). And after going through 5 people another pass the buck.

T

Very helpful and lovely staff they were very open minded about my needs and kept me in good hands.
