If this place was supposed to be full of friendly, local faces, apparently HR missed the friendly part of the memo. Starting with the rude clerk, Rebecca in your gas station. Based on her rude and non-customer oriented behavior, I opted not to go into the store based on if she is reflective on who Fresh Market hires, I imagine the people in the store are not much better at being customer oriented than she was. When this was a Safeway, fuel employees were much nicer same with store employees. Just goes to show just because it is a local store does not mean they strive to provide good service. Some cookie cutter corporate stores instill a much better sense of providing good customer service than this "local" company ever will.

I had to get a special birthday cake at the last minute so I called and spoke with Mike in the bakery. He was super helpful, friendly and the yummy cake was all ready for me the next morning. (I think they generally like 24 - 48 hours advance notice - which is certainly reasonable - but Mike didn't hesitate to promise that the cake would be done in about half a day. He made sure he knew exactly what I wanted and delivered on the promise.) I also appreciate that this store is always adding new products like bulk foods and pre-packaged cook-at-home meals. The gas rewards program works great too and I love the fact that the store is locally owned.

It's sad that I have to write another bad review of fresh market my wife and I have been comfortable shopping here enjoying good customer service untill this last week I was grocery shopping and this blonde ladies that works there kept following me everywhere pretending to face shelves she would hide behind different places and stare at me I was in the store shopping for lots of different things I had a kart I work nd I'm paid very well I'm not a thief I even complained at the cash register and they knew who I was talking about but was given no apology for being harassed I felt angry and embarrassed since we had problems once before and now this insulting behaviour we will no longer be shopping here I'll pick up my meds this one last time from their pharmacy then I'm switching to somewhere else we live close and spent all our money at this store but it's worth going a little farther away not to be treated like criminals I do no recommend anyone to go shopping here

The teenagers at the deli closed early because they wanted to party, when I absolutely needed deli items in particular for a dinner party. They pointed me out to "pre-sliced" meat and cheese. This is NOT what i asked for. Thanks for being there "neighborhood friendly store". #lazymillenials

I've just seen a video by a Native American in your store being harassed by one of your managers, I hope this is not how you treat Native Americans. Discrimination is against the law and banning people is preposterous. I hope this issue has been resolved and you retrained all your employees about the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of RACE, age, or sex. Shame on the store employee!

Always has beautiful flower bouquets for a great price. Very friendly employees and always seems to have what I need. Plus you cant beat having the gas station right there after you've gotten your groceries.

Just watched that disgusting video on Facebook, racism at its finest, the employee is a poor excuse for a human being, shame on him for treating Native Americans in such a matter. Really nice and clean. Cost more than your average grocery store. But not kid friendly, when my granddaughter asked for a sticker from cashier , (which she always gets at other stores when we check out ) she was told the store does not provide them and the cashier was out of money so she did not get one. The management needs to realize that taking care of customers children will be a deciding factor of weather or not to keep shopping at a certain place.

What will cost you a dollar anywhere else will cost you $2.50 here. Seriously cannot believe how overpriced you are. I will never be back to this store. Albertsons and Orange Street Food Farm have way better prices.

If I could give this place a 0, I would.. If I hear one more story about the manager harassing my relatives or friends. I'll make a trip up there myself. If you want a problem, you'll get one. If you have a problem, then bring it to light.

I appreciate the very nice waiting room. Would be nice if people waiting in line to drop off prescriptions could wait on the chairs in there. I know that would probably require some remodeling.

Not bad. There aren't very many grocery stores in the downtown area and this one carries quite a lot of groceries. Take a pass on the chicken strips in the deli though

This is my go to market. They have so many Montana made products and great variety. My only complaint is they don't pay their employees enough when they hire them. To attract loyal and good employees you have to pay them a decent wage up front. They shouldn't have to "prove" themselves to get paid decently. Other than that Fresh Market is my favorite store.

I have never had an issue with foods from a grocery store like I've had here. I'm especially disappointed because they have the word FRESH in the name. I have had to take products back THREE different times here. The first was some cheese that was a few months old, and when I went to pull some out of the bag it was slimy and wet. The second time, my boyfriend got food poisoning from some chicken nuggets. We ate the same thing that night, but I don't eat meat, so I didn't eat the chicken. Therefore, I did not get sick like he did. This last time I went to use some tempeh I had JUST purchased, and noticed it was a bit discolored. I showed it to my boyfriend, and he pointed out the expiration date on it was Jan 07 of 2016, ALMOST THREE YEARS AGO! I have no idea how that even happens.

The bathroom smells looked pancakes and I'm not really sure how to feel about that, hence the 3 stars
