I've come to this store many times in my travels. Maybe a year or two ago it used to be a great little store. Now not so much. Overpriced products. Half the workers aren't worth much. The managers definitely aren't any better. A handful of these workers are very good workers. The middle aged Red head one for instance is absolutely outstanding and helpful beyond means. The younger heavy set Hispanic girl is very courteous and kind, never had a problem with her besides she is quiet with customers. My problem with IGA in Broadus is this, the managers need some training on how to run a store. $6 for a gallon of milk? We aren't in Hawaii. $3 for a off brand loaf of bread that chances are its moldy. Never enough workers to keep this small of a town from having a two hour long evening rush, or ill planning on part of the schedule?

They have the best deli chicken that you could ever ask for, whenever I am on a road trip I always stop here and get it!

A very useful place to stop on our way back to Oregon from South Dakota. I didn't stay long here but did pick up a few things. The staff was very friendly and the establishment was very clean and well organized.

Pleasant surprise! The grocery store sells a lot of local products. For instance, locally baked bread and desserts....organically made...with 100 percent natural ingredients....zero hydrogenated oils, fructose corn syrup.....and no mono diglycerides

Always friendly and willing to help out with your grocery and pharmacy needs. Prices can be high at times. Make sure you stop by Chester's inside for a quick bite to eat. Good and Cheap fried food and delicious donuts.
