They used to be good. But not anymore. They're too controlling. One of my medications was discontinued by the manufacturer. So, my doctor had to find a new medication that was going to work. So he wrote me a script for 4 tablets of the new medication to try it to make sure it worked. The pharmacist would NOT fill it. The ignorant thing told me that I still have old medication left. I said the doctor & I both know this. She wouldn't fill it. Said she couldn't because it's the law. I asked her what this law was. She couldn't tell me that law. So, I demanded the prescription back. I went to Walgreens & asked the pharmacist there, if there is any reason why he couldn't fill this today. I told him about the old medication. I told him about what the pharmacist said to me at UMass Memorial. He said, she is just giving you a bad time. Because I have no problem filling this. Today, I went to pick up my medication from UMass Memorial. Noticed that I was missing one. When I called & asked about it. She said I was too early. I asked how that is possible? It was filled on 1/6/2018 a thirty day supply. What's the problem? She said it was filled last month on the 6th. But you didn't pick it up until the 12th. I asked when they started this garbage?! She said about two months ago. I was never told that refills are going by your pick-up date & not the fill date. I'm disabled, I can't walk. So sometimes I have trouble getting there. Sometimes it's a cash issue. Either way, I think it's piss poor business. That's being nice!
