I have been using Professional Arts Pharmacy for many years. Recently I have started getting a new prescription from them and was a bit shocked at the price. I have Medicare Part D, but this item, Armour Thyroid, is not covered. I did some searches for cheaper alternatives and found a few places with slightly lower prices. In thinking about using an alternative "big pharmacy" to save a few dollars, I thought about the great service, education, shipping, and alternatives given for medication administration to pets and people that I appreciate from Professional Arts Pharmacy. I really trust them and appreciate the great service I have always had, and decided that all of those things are more important to me than a small savings. And I always like supporting the local "little guy"!

They mixed my dog's medicine wrong and if I hadn't noticed it could (most likely would) have killed him. Staff did not even apologize. I will never return.

I have been getting prescriptions filled for my cats at Professional Arts Pharmacy for almost two decades and recently had a situation that made it difficult to get my cat's medication filled. The manager, Thai, was very responsive and even delivered the medication to me himself. There are very few compounding pharmacies in this area and from personal experience I can say that none of them are as good as Professional Arts Pharmacy.

Initially we were not sure if our picky cat would like it, Professional Arts Pharmacy was open to letting us get some to try first before having to buy a month’s supply. We also searched options and could not find any cheaper anywhere else. Lastly, we are always able to get the medication filled in a timely manner, which has been a great help!

We are three Catholic Sisters living in Catonsville who trust this Pharmacy and always feel welcomed by whomever answers the phone when we call for a prescription or when we enter the Pharmacy to pick up a prescription. I found out about this place from our vet when a much needed drug was back-ordered nationally and we were unable to get it. Professional Arts Pharmacy was able to make it for us, same day, and at significantly less cost. The people there are great and the service is excellent. Wish I'd known about them sooner as there are a few other circumstances where we've had problems getting certain other medications for family members and I'm sure they would have been able to help us. Love this place and will always now keep them in mind whenever a pharmaceutical need arises!

I've been really happy with my experience with Professional Arts. They compound medication for my Pomeranian. When I call for a refill, they coordinate the request with the vet and have it done in a day or two. They also offer a choice of flavors which makes it tastier for my pup. We've use this Pharmacy for 3 years!

Very disappointed. Prescription was sent in at noon on a Monday. Didn’t have it ready until 5pm the next day. They close at 5:30pm and couldn’t deliver this med because their currier already had too many stops. It’s Wednes still no med. This was a topical med for pain relief. Had to watch my father suffer and not sleep during this entire time.

They will accommodate any need that the corporate pharmacies won't. Our son will not take pills, so they created a solution with his prescription and flavored it with cherry. Sam, the owner, is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and knows just about everything about pharmaceuticals. I highly recommend this pharmacy.

I used to get robbed every month by people who acted like they were doing me a favor. Nos I go to I-Care pharmacy and pay less than half for the same meds by people that want to serve me. Professional arts should be called professional ripoff. IMHO.

This pharmacy provides medicine for humans and pets. My cat was having a negative reaction to a liquid antibiotics that was prescribed by her vet. I called Professional Arts Pharmacy on Saturday morning and spoke to Sam, the owner of the pharmacy. They were about to close in 15 minutes and he was willing to adjust the same antibiotic to pill form. I arrived slightly after they closed and Sam was very accommodating and friendly. He did not charge me for change in the antibiotics. I certainly did not ask for that nor expect him to do that. Five stars and a great neighborhood pharmacy with personal service.
