It reminds me of a small town cornor pharmacy I think its the staff. They are so friendly and accommodating, go the extra steps to get you best price answer your questions. Wonderful people. It's really a family pharmacy! They know me when I pull up. They may have to ask who I'm picking up for because we all get our prescriptions filled with them. And they're fast. They carry great items, like Blue Mountain Art cards(the best)!

I have used them for two months and both times they messed me up on my prescriptions. The online app is a joke. You try to fill your prescriptions on this and it not only tells you it will be ready that day, but also gives you a confirmation email that it will be ready by 10 a.m. same day. Then you either call or go to pick up and they say you can’t get them until the following day or two days later. Obviously you want them filled early if they are closed on Sundays. I ask to speak to the owner and he is no help either. Between myself, my fiancé, my 3 kids and my grandson, we will be taking our business elsewhere

I hate leaving negative reviews for anyone in the medical field but after my experience with this pharmacy I've never been so disappointed in some aspects of the medical field. I would never reccomend one of my own patients to go here. After moving here I went in to discuss all my prescriptions and update them that I had moved here and explained I wanted to switch all my prescriptions to one place due to my work hours. They looked them all up and said it wouldnt be an issue and I left feeling great only to be called later after letting my doctor know to transfer everything and that would be my new pharmacy. I was lied to for one which was the worst of it all and treated just very poorly. As I said I hate leaving poor reviews for the medical field no matter what being in it myself but I could never reccomend this pharmacy to anyone let alone one of my patients. Huge disappointment.

As you walk in the door you are greeted with bright and genuine smiles from the entire staff. You are not just a number but rather a customer/patient...a FAMILY member. I guess that is where the "Family" part of the name comes in to play. I've been going there for years, and sure their hours aren't typical for a pharmacy, but do you know what? I wouldn't trade a 24 hour vacuumed tube for the sincerity and gold star treatment I receive at Ponchatoula Family Pharmacy any day.

Ponchatoula Family Pharmacy is the best pharmacy I have ever used. The owner and his entire qualified staff go out of their way to help you with all of your needs. Unlike chain pharmacies, if you need something that isn’t in stock then they have it for you the very next day. They also sell precious hometown gifts in addition to the usual pharmacy fare. I have been using them for several years now and I have NEVER had a bad experience nor have I ever been treated like anything less than family. If you are tired of being treated like a number and realize that you deserve to be treated with respect, go to the only pharmacy that will actually treat you like FAMILY.

It's such a wonderful feeling to take a nostalgic walk back time, to an era where the local businesses knew your name when you walked in the door, sometimes even asking about your family members by their names. That is exactly the feeling you get when you are a customer here. Mr. Anthony and his employees make everyone welcome, and treat them as they would their own family. One of the employees there, Sarah, will always make time to ask how I am doing and if I ask her to, she will pray for me during her daily devotions. You just can't find that at big store pharmacies. Do not take my word on this one and let it be. Go see for yourselves, and enjoy a step back into small town Americana !
