I absolutely love coming to this pharmacy. It has a boutique feel to it, so I never feel like I am waiting for a prescription. Every time I go in I am greeted, and always feel welcomed. I moved my prescriptions over within the first week of them being open! Definitely recommend.

It took 7 times to update a dosage on 1 prescription. I received many partial refills on medications in just 4 months. That means many more trips to their business or deliveries to the customer. I asked to be called back many times and it would rarely happened. I was told I would receive a call back and it would not happen. Lots of confusion often. Twice a very important prescription was not filled. I had to call it in to check on why it was not refilled. My pain med info was not forwarded to my new pharmacist. I was told that couldn't be done. My new pharmacist said that it could. Seemed the phone call to me about this pain med transfer was to see why I wanted to terminate my relationship with them. She could have just called my new pharmacist and gave him the info on this pain med.

Everyone in Layton’s pharmacy was so nice and extremely helpful. I actually drove all the way from Slidell to Layton’s Pharmacy. The young lady who I called was nice enough to let me know before I drove from Slidell to Covington that they had what I needed to fill my script. Out of all the pharmacies in Slidell none of them had what I needed to fill my script. Not even the locally owned pharmacies??!! Which one place was extremely rude and I won’t go there ever again. The pharmacist Dana was extremely nice and all the young ladies who work along beside her!!! Thanks for showing great customer service and how everyone should always be treated the same. I’m in customer service and without the customer’s I wouldn’t have a job. Love Layton’s!!! Great group of ladies!!

I transferred mine and my children's prescriptions here about a year ago and am very satisfied. The staff treat everyone with respect and get right to work on the scripts Mrs. Pam, her husband and the technicians go above and beyond to ensure all their customers are taken care of. For example, they catalog the hard copies that are too soon and fill them on the appropriate day, they text my cell phone when the new prescriptions or refills are ready, they look for drug interactions and assess each matter accordingly. If anyone in my family are out of refills, they fax the Dr's office, most of the time before I've even noticed or thought about it. The delivery services they offer are a huge bonus for anyone who has issues getting to the pharmacy to pick their medications up themselves. I myself have worked in pharmacy for over 15 years and highly recommend Layton Pharmacy because of the attention they pay to the details that really count. It's always best to use one pharmacy because they know you on a personal level and this helps your Dr. moniter allergies, drug interactions and your basic needs. This is why I drive from Slidell, passing alot of pharmacies on the way to get the service and commitment that I believe every patient deserves. I respect and appreciate how they are running their business. My family will be customers here forever! Thank you to every staff member at Layton Family Pharmacy, you help me feel stress free because I know that you are all helping me stay organized with my families pharmacy needs.
