Boise Is The Best

Some times I wonder how places like this get any positive reviews at all, like do they submit the reviews themselves? They would not price match, and tried to charge me 4 times what Customedica or the new compounding pharmacy on Vista charged, and also the owner was rude. I normally respect small independently ran businesses but this place was classless and overpriced.

These guys are amazing! The service in my experience has always been great. Apart from compounded medication, if my medications aren't there in the store, they have them ordered for the next day. They answer all of my questions, and sometimes they even tell me the answers to the questions I should be asking. On the rare occasion an employee doesn't know the answer they consult and research to find the information I need. There are txt notifications when prescriptions are ready, and an amazing (I'm not overselling this) massage chair to use while you wait. A great atmosphere packed with wonderful, knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend it.

I was visiting my friend who is a diabetic. She ordered her medications last week on an automatic refill. The medication was supposed to be delivered last thursday. This is the following wednesday night and the medication is. Not yet delivered despite two phone calls from the patient. Diabetics can not go without their medications. It is very dangerous. This pharmacy needs to pay closer attention to the patients situation.

Very disappointed with the way my wife was treated. She purchased an expensive prescription as she was out running errands this week and by the time she got home the prescription was completely ruined. The prescription was supposed to be refrigerated and by the time she got home after an hour it had completely melted. She was not informed that this was the case with the prescription and the bag did not say so either. It did say on the instructions for taking the medicine though that she had no reason to read until she was preparing to ingest it. She was treated kindly by everyone trying to work something out until the lead pharmacist came out who treated her like she was an idiot and informed her that they are not responsible for telling the clients if there are any immediate instructions with the prescriptions. We have no other places to take our business so we will continue to use them reluctantly. Take caution when working with them. They know that you have no where else to go.

On occasion my son requires a compounded medication which only Ladd's can provide in our area. Their staff is very helpful and go out of their way to accommodate you. Our experiences have been overwhelmingly positive. I would recommend Ladd's for any prescriptions that are not routine or require compounding.

BE VERY CAREFUL-- For years I sang the praises of this pharmacy. I recommended it to friends and family. However, one month they failed to mail a very essential prescription for my husband. When we were down to the last five days, I called and asked where it was and was told that since we moved to Indiana they could no longer send it. No one had bothered to tell us or inform us. We had missed an entire of month of the prescription and they said they were sorry but we would just have to pay cash for it since the insurance deadline had been missed (due to their negligence) They offered to call in the prescription to a nearby pharmacy in Indiana where we had since moved, but refused to do anything else to make it right, other than simply apologize. I realize mistakes occur and human error is inevitable, but to refuse to do anything to make it right is unacceptable--especially when dealing with important medication. Be very very careful if you choose this pharmacy. I would avoid it if you are getting your prescription through the mail.

I started using Ladd Pharmacy about 6 months ago because of their compounding services. I assumed their price for non-compounded medications would be higher than the big national pharmacies. I WAS WRONG. They were actually lower price on some things than Walmart (which I hated). Great going Ladd Pharmacy. Great service, local owner AND very competitive prices.

My wife and I have been with Ladd for the last 2 years. It has been very frustrating. More often than naught I go in and my prescriptions are rarely ready. Subsequently, I have to wait 20 minutes for them to fill the prescription. I had knee surgery in October of last year and when we went to fill the prescription it wasn't ready. Lat month I went in to get eye drops, it wasn't ready. Today I went in to fill my prescription four hours after I went to primary health and the pharm tech stated it wasn't ready. I expressed my frustration and told him I would be back in 1 hours. 20 minutes later I received a call they didn't have the medicine and that Sav-On had it. Needless to say, this is the last day I will use Ladd. I will drive an extra five miles to another Pharmacy that accepts my insurance than put up with a Pharmacy that doesn't have my prescriptions ready within a reasonable amount of time.

I switched from Walgreens to Ladds because of their reputation and expecting them to have epilepsy medication on time....and it is a huge disappointment. Can't get Vimpat on time. It should not be difficult. Same medication every 30 days.

I have been working with Kipp and Elaine Ladd for 7 years professionally through their involvement in the Garden City Community Clinic and Ada County Medical Society. They are very rooted in and supportive of local community activities around health. They get their pharmacist and tech interns involved in local volunteer efforts. They have impeccable integrity and always choose the higher road. As a pharmacy, I've had nothing but great service with them. Refills are a snap with the app, they mail your prescriptions to you, and they reach out to people calling them proactively if they see they're not refilling stuff in a timely manner.

I swear this used to be open until 9pm. I arrived at just after 7pm and locked up tight. I desperately need my medicine, and if you now close early/chgd hours it would have nice for someone to mention it on the 3+ phone calls between us. Thanks for nothing.

Very unprofessional. I called in my prescriptions days ahead only to come in to none of them ready or sent over from other pharmacies as told to do so via phone. This has happened several months in a row. I was set aside for a consultation with the pharmacist for a medication that I have been on before only to be forgotten. Six minutes went by before the pharmacist came over saying he was unaware that I was even over there. The business is run horribly and I will be switching to a different pharmacy asap.
