I will be going to Plaza Pharmacy for my prescriptions that are non mail order from now on. The Pharmacist and Customer Service Representatives have ALL been very helpful, courteous, friendly, and communication is very good in regards to explanations should there be problems, if I have any questions, etc.....
Moreover, Plaza Pharmacy saved the day last month for me for one of my much needed prescriptions. I was going to another Pharmacy, the same one for over a year, filling the same prescription. Basically, it was a nightmare experience with THIS OTHER PHARMACY. Nothing but running around, constant calling, the Doctor needing to call to see if the medication is in stock, and more. And that week my Doctor was away, and I needed the medication. I can only fill it monthly on a set schedule.
Being bedridden, others are running around for me.
Plaza Pharmacy was able to fill the prescription with no problems.
They do have busy periods and there is a wait, but that is no different than with any other Pharmacy.
The Customer Service Representative ringing me up apologized and explained that certain times are busier. This is understandable given that the Pharmacy is in the Kuakini Medical Building, and most patients would fill their prescriptions after their appointment.
For me, the most important things are : Courtesy, good communication, the Pharmacist being knowledgeable; patience and understanding; helpfulness, friendliness, good customer service, and having the medication without so many stipulations that can cause a lapse in the patient’s needed medication.
