Fantastic experience visiting this Publix for the first time. Parking is not nearly as hectic as my main Publix, and the store was larger, cleaner, and more bright and inviting. Every staff member was polite and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. The selection was also more expensive than some other locations as well. The spaciousness was a great aspect because it was busy but never felt uncomfortable getting around. Prices were a bit higher at this location oddly enough.

After 30 years I'm ready to leave Publix, every time I go to get something they don't have it two weeks ago was my Pet's food last week was the milk today I want mussels 2 lb, they only have .92 then I have to wait about 10 or 12 minutes because an item for the person in front of me won't register in the register. Vegetables are old and get spoiled as soon as they are open. It is a WINN-DIXIE ACROSS THE STREET AND A WALMART 4 BLOCKS DOWN

Poorly managed. Workers are friendly but often not enough cashiers, unattended fish counter. In the back? Saltines come out of the box like bread crumbs. Spring water bottles are often crushed and don't stand when you get them home, all from mishandling.

Online easy ordering? not so easy anymore. After one hour the order is still not ready and the manager is saying that sometimes they "don't get the order" while walking away. Apparently the email confirmation is nothing. I used to love shopping here but not anymore, customers are not a priority here.

The worst Publix in south Florida! Avoid and go to different Publix if possible. The deli is terrible. They are always short staffed, rude and even when you place an online order it is never ready when promised. They are always running out of popular items, and they have a very poor selecrion of brands. Most of the customers there are tourists and snowbirds and are very rude and pushy! They will run you over with their cart! Keep away!!

This is worst managed Publix in South Florida. I am not kidding, Weekly specials are a joke if you want to buy in this store. I am living here for the past 20 years and Publix is a nice and clean place but not this one. I went Monday and asked for organic celery, after 2 persons check out for me they recommended to come the next day on Tuesday. They lack organic produce permanently. It is like they don't like to have and sell it. I come back Tuesday to find out that they do not have organic celery and not even the genetically modified one, zero celery of any kind. I did have return the organic chicken breast with bones which was spoiled. No comments. Previously I was looking for organic apples which were on sale and they have none. I went to the Publix in Hollywood, Young Circle and what a difference, nice and clean place the toilet smell clean and look like they use cleaners to maintain it clean this is not the case in Hallandale. In Hallandale looks like they do not use cleaners for their restrooms they never heard of germs or bacteria, they clean it with water ...if. I spoke to the Produce manager at Hollywood place and asked how comes they have plenty of organic apples and he told me that he makes sure he order plenty of it because it makes sense that people will buy organic apples while the price is the same for the GMO ones. Put it this way the Publix in Young Circle it is well managed and a pleasure to buy groceries and not afraid to use restrooms. Five thumbs up! Another day I come for the weekly specials in Hallandale to buy some cheese and I did check in the front of the store and find none, asked the store manager and he sent me on the back of the store on another shelf and found none as well then I have asked again where I can find it, he came in person and checked and zilch, then he asked the person who was in charge to order the cheese and he told us the he discontinue ordering that cheese which was on sale, what a JUngle right here in Hallandale. After 2 unsuccessful attempts to buy celery I have asked to talk to the manager in person, guess what? Tuesday April 15th, 2019 at 6pm no manager was at this store, I have asked for a phone number for Publix Corporate to discuss with someone the issues at my local store and the manager assistant told that they do not have any phone or address for corporate, instead she took my name and phone number to be contacted . Today Friday, April the 19th, 2019. Nobody call or try to contact me. I am ashamed of my local Publix and their terrible management. Only is 5 minutes to drive instead of 15 minutes to the next one. Highly not recommended. Please see the picture of the pricey rotten organic chicken breast.

Do yourself a favor and go to the new publix in sunny isles. No comparison... they should shut this place down and start over. Oh guy just came over to restock salads.. didn't bring tuna. Management very poor.. employees bicker amongst each other in front of customers.. can't tell you if they're out of something... shopping NOT a pleasure!

I've placed an online order for a sandwich 3 separate times at this location, and each time I come in 30 minutes after my sandwich should be done and there's nothing, even after extra time shopping around. I point this out to the employee and they guess my order ticket just gets lost each time, despite the fact that other deli orders are ready in the pickup area. Minimal attention to detail, consistency, and customer service left me extremely unsatisfied

I have been going to Hallandale Publix for 30 years. The store is constantly trying to raise the bar. The only problem I have had is at the deli department which does not schedule enough employees for customers vs. other orders and chores. Explained this to Mimi yesterday and she listened : explained that is a problem that will be fixed and had me leave happily . I would invest time in training all associates to give the level of customer service gave me yesterday.

This is my neighborhood Publix that I frequent. Great selection of products including a complete selection of organic products and produce including pasture raised/cage free eggs and free range meats. Their produce is very fresh. They offer a nice selection of ethnic foods and spices as well. The beer selection is ok, and they have a pretty decent wine selection. They have a liquor store as well. Their is a pharmacy in the store. Their deli can take a while, so grab a ticket and prepare to wait. Their fish market sells previously frozen, farmed fish.

Just left from publix very disappointed!! Went in with the attempt of leaving with a sub, but unfortunately Toni from the deli failed to make that happen! I don’t know if she was too busy talking with her coworkers to listen to my request for my toppings but I had to repeat myself more than three times to no avail!! Someone appearing manager just kept looking over at me without helping so I would assume bad management! Despite my clear disappointment she proceeded to make a sloppy unloved version of a publix sandwich that I politely left behind as I exited the building what a waste of time!!! Decent chain, but overpriced. The Deli counter has extremely fresh Deli, but the wait is always close to half an hour for that, alone. Lines at checkout are usually shorter and faster than most other chain supermarkets. Unfortunately, at this particular visit, a price rang up differently than the posted shelf sale price, and I was simply too tired to wait for it to be checked, so I asked for it to be removed from my order. The same thing happened with my apples - but those I kept anyway. On the good side: I have always found the employees to be extremely friendly, and they try their best to help.

Well I'm disappointed in Publix on Sheridan street near 56 ave Hollywood management, while shopping I discovered a safety hazard of trail of poop in several areas in the store and alerted staff. My cashier David was a very kind gentleman! He clearly has some type of disability that caused him to shake and move slowly and he apologized profusely for it. A guy behind me decided to go to another line and it visibly upset David and he apologized again. I told him he had nothing to apologize for, I'm in no hurry and sometimes other people are just in too much of a rush. I commend your store for inclusive hiring. David was very polite and I would absolutely go to his line again if I seen him working.

Just now in that Publix, I was going through the fast line, with my few articles, the lady of the line Lise, without saying hello said this line is only for 10 articles, since I was annoyed because to address the client in that way, I counted the articles and put them On the line. Once she was in front of me she said good morning, and I did not answer the greeting she kept insisting when I did not answer she told me that if I was upset or something like that, I did not answer her, she continued to scan my articles and she told me now you can put them in the bag, I was going to say something but I did not, I put my items in my shopping cart she put the last item in a bag only the last of the items, after paying and I said wait for the review about your customer service to the customer on the website, it is not right that a firm as prestigious as Publix allow that mistreatment to the client, I am always very attentive and respectful, I have even congratulated the cashiers like the blonde lady who always waits for you with a smile, but this is not permissible. The name of the lady with horrible customer service is Lise express line that is right in front of the front door.

Whew. Let's see where should I start. Firstly, this store has the WORST customer service EVER. They advertise services that they do NOT deliver on. It's a waste of time bringing it to their attention, because they'll only give you a scripted excuse followed by an "apology" as to why THEY FAILED to fill an order you have placed. If it was one time, I wouldn't complain. But it's a consistent problem. Secondly, the bathrooms are ALWAYS dirty and they smell bad. Lastly, be prepared to get placed on hold and passed around when calling their customer service department. The show total disregard to your time. This store SUCKS!

This Publix is absolute TRASH. Every time I come to this particular location, I encounter the most disrespectful staff and lousy customer service. They have an incompetent management team and don't seem to possess any strong communication skills when issues arise. The parking is challenging, the lines are long, and the staff is usually not helpful. This Publix actually needs to write me a check! I've had to bag my own groceries while at checkout, and gather up a bunch of carts just hanging around near my car. I don't even work there! I used to love shopping at Publix, but shopping at this location is definitely not a pleasure. As a matter of fact, it's torture. It's unfortunate that this location happens to be the closest one to me. If you have other grocery store options, I recommend that you explore those. The others who have mentioned the horrible customer service and long lines at the deli are actually telling the truth. Spare your sanity and seek out better stores that value customer service.

The lines are always incredibly long, they are always out of ingredients for a sub, and the worst thing about this publix is that everything they put on sale or as a bogo is because it has either expired already or is about to in a day, this has happened to me personally more than once with the salads and other products in produce as well as there food being moldy and old. Absolutely unacceptable, disgusting & very disappointing
