Very weird place. I did not feel welcome at all and i was watched the entire time. I ended up leaving and not buying anything because i felt so uncomfortable. Prices were high and the customer service here is non existent. No smiles or anything.

Go somewhere else! The staff has a serious profiling problem! I walked in to purchase laundry soap, and 2 staff members blatantly followed me around the store like I was a criminal, the second I entered the store. One of the staff walked in circles around me while I was browsing the shelf. It disgusted me. It made me terribly uncomfortable so I just left. I'm not interested in spending my hard earned money at a place that treats it's walk in customers like criminal trash. Go to CVS or Walgreens across the street, this place has issues.

Well I'll be! I thought the profiling thing was all in my head until I read the other reviews and then I took my son with me incase I was crazy! But I was browsing at all their cute ( not so cute now) trinkets and whatnot on more than multiple occasions and one lady was so close to my every move I could smell her cat piss and rancid breath... Let me tell you, for an older lady she had moves! Wow one moment I'm looking at toilet paper and she's right next to me pretending to clean up hmpfff. After about 15 minutes of her being my shadow I finally figured it out! Seriously? Was I really being profiled for some odd reason? No way, can't be so in your face, blatantly as if I'm Going to cram a 20 pack of poopy paper in my Bra! I Still didn't believe it so I started to play back. She would pretend to Straighten up and I would pretend to Shop at this point. I decided to put back everything in my basket... Only about 59.00 worth of stuff but I didn't know if I was going to cry or scream at her! She kept asking me if I needed help finding anything and finally I just said yes, thank you, I need help finding my personal space please and thank you!! So that was the last straw on this occasion ( I ignored the heavyset man doing this on many many occasions and chalked it up to the fact my beauty must have entranced him lol or the later of a simpleton) but this happens EVERYTIME. I have to solicite hancocks because they are The only ones that carry a certain Med I must use... Grrr... The last time it happened with captain simpleton bad hygiene guy AND the NINJA older lady.. They tag teamed me and I said that's enough. I'm done here. I'll order my stuff from Amazon thank you very much. This time my 17 year old son was with me and that seemed to make it worse! He was appalled that this still happens in 2016 and worse of all to his mother! So if you're not dressed a certain way, or perhaps not white or light skinned I would love to know what others have encountered there. Too bad, the store is quaint and I love it and the wide variety of things from yarn to glitter to flyswaters and band aids they sell but I send my dad or husband. I Have a problem people being so close to me that I can smell their breathe. Personal space means something to me.., and so does profiling. I'm sorry others went thru this but I'm relieved to know its not just me!

The place is huge. Great atmosphere and with both CVS and Walgreens on either side of them, Hats off to Hancock Pharmacy. The service is warm and friendly.

Do not shop at this store. The people that work here are extremely weird and have been known to profile individuals and come up with completely inaccurate claims of customers. I was in the store waiting for my grandfathers medication, so to pass the time I just decided to browse around the store, minding my own buisness. When I came back to the counter, the woman gave me his meds and I politely thanked her and wished her a nice day. I went out to my truck but I forgot to get a package of band aids, so when I came back inside, I was met by one of the managers and said I need to leave the premesis before authorities were called. I asked why and he said I was threatening to the employees and customers, that I was banging on the counter and throwing stuff because I had to wait, which is COMPLETELY untrue. I'm a kind, polite and caring individual. I don't even have so much as a parking ticket. I asked him to check the cameras to prove I did nothing wrong to warrant such an allegation, but his answer was simply that won't be necessary. There's alot of shady things that go on here. This place shouldn't even be allowed to operate anymore. I will never be shopping here again.

I needed a unique item to help a diabetic member of the family, fast, on a Saturday morning. I called around. No "regular" drugstores carried it, but they'd special order. But Hancock's had it on the shelf and held it for me. Thank you, Hancock's.
