I sometimes wonder if Belmar Pharmacy has a special hold on the Post Office. If I place an order on the voice mail on Sunday, I get my order on Tuesday. They are always fast and efficient, and if I call, they are awesome!

Updates review : received a call yesterday from the pharmacist admitting they had messed up. They are overnighting a replacement , which will arrive before my original order. I am very grateful that a company would admit to making a mistake , I just wish I didn’t have to go without my medicine for so many days while waiting. I will update my review after a few more orders. Original review : Ships to you, but a prescription my doctor called in on Wednesday , I called and gave payment info same day , and when I called back the next week on Tuesday they still hadn’t shipped it and just finally shipped it today. If I had a choice , I wouldn’t be using this pharmacy.

UPDATE: Belmar did call me this morning, to let me know the status of my order. I do appreciate the update. Ok second call back. I feel confident in 5 stars. I feel they really do care about there customer and are doing a great job in a difficult situation. Orginal review: I'm not sure how I feel about this yet. I just switched from Skips where I have never had a problem. My doctor recommended I switch, but I'm very concerned since they have charged my card but its been 6 days and no shipment. I have called, emailed with no response. I understand making a software change, but be prepared to handle the things that go wrong. No response and charging someones card with no tracking information or contact is not good business.

Update : As stated I was given 12 grams of a medication. Per my doctor I was to use 0.5g everyday for 2 weeks then twice a week thereafter. Well this supposed 12gm lasted 14 days or 7gm worth! Still didn't even get the amount stated! DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!! If I could give 0 stars I would. Very disappointed with the medication and service I received when contacting them about the medication. When they called me for payment the girl told me they would give me 20gm of the medication in question. That seemed pretty reasonable for the price and I agreed and paid. But Io and behold, I recieved 12gm. I called customer service and explained this is not the amount I was told I would receive and would not have paid the price I did for only 12gm. The lady I spoke to was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She kept cutting me off and raising her voice to me which is extremely unprofessional as a customer service rep. She told me about the law and that's why I recieved that low of an amount and I understand that. However, what I don't understand is why I didn't receive a call explaining that they need to change the amount before I received it in order to see if I still wanted it. Now I feel like I wasted my money when I could have gone elsewhere for a better deal in terms of amount to cost. All this could have been avoided with a simple courtesy call and I would have thanked them and canceled my order. I do not recommend this company as they do not seem to care about the customer enough to make a simple phone call regarding their prescription and states there is nothing they can do to rectify the situation.

One word could describe this company's productivity, Slow! Very nice associates but very slow at sending out prescriptions, 2-3 weeks sometimes..... It has become the norm. Not good business practice.

Update: Belmar emailed and called me on Friday, Sept. 20. They were very apologetic and took care of getting my medication out that day with expedited shipping. Kyle from Belmar followed up today to let me know my prescription was out for delivery. I do feel they care and are trying to get back to the service people have come to expect from them. Original: My doctor emailed my new prescription on 9/5 as instructed on their website. I emailed on 9/6 asking to confirm receipt of the prescription. As of the morning of 9/16 I have heard nothing from this pharmacy. I understand there are issues when you upgrade to a new system but this is just bad customer service!

I have just started in lasts few months getting prescriptions filled here. I recently had a problem shipping. Tina, pharmacist, talked to me about the issue and she corrected it right away. She also corrected the script which was ordered incorrectly by my medical practitioner. She went well above and beyond fixing it. I recommend the pharmacy because they know customer service.

RUN AWAY!!!!!!!! This place is a complete joke and THE WORST customer service of any business of any kind I've ever engaged with. If this were the last place I could go, I'd do without. There are many other great choices to fill your needs. Do yourself a BIG FAVOR and stay as far away from this place as possible.

Unfortunately I am one of the people that have received slow service. My NP placed the order for my meds a week ago and supposedly the scrip will go out today in the mail. Earlier this week I was told that it would go out two days ago in the mail. It seems like this pharmacy was running well/professionally in the past. I will be asking my NP to find a new pharmacy for my next order.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Belmar. All questions are answered, the prices are significantly less than local compounding pharmacies (I get a three month supply of LDN for less than what one month would cost locally), and I always receive my order through the mail quickly. What's not to love?

I'm always impressed with the level of care and professionalism at Belmar. They go out of their way to help, from tracking down an Rx refill from an unresponsive dr, to replacing lost meds at the last minute, to specifically ordering in an Rx I can't easily find elsewhere and charging less for it than anyone in the area. I'm grateful to have them in the neighborhood, and highly recommend them.

1 Star is too high for this place. My Dr. called in my prescription 2 weeks ago and I still had not received it in the mail. I called and spoke to Megan, she informed me that it had not been processed or shipped yet. When I questioned what happened, she rudely repeated everything she already told me, that it had not been processed or shipped. I heard you just fine the first time Megan, thanks for the repeat though. This is a pharmacy, you are dealing with peoples medication and their health. Do your job, and when you drop the ball don't you dare get pissy when i question it.

Not impressed. My order finally arrived yesterday, a full week after I was originally told it would arrive. When I called I got an excuse about the holiday backing up orders which is reasonable but one I hope they will plan for next time. It's stressful wondering if your order got lost in the mail or what's going on with it. They did answer the phone (the 3x I called) which is in their favor but are closed Friday afternoons so if you miss them on Friday you wait till Monday morning to figure out what went wrong. Not worth it to save a dollar on my $50 order. Will order from my neighborhood pharmacy next time but thanks.

Belmar used to provide quality products and services. However, since 2018 I have had nothing but problems with their service. More often then not I am making multiple phone calls and coordinating between my doctor and the pharmacy. Two weeks ago I called in a refill. Due to their change over in systems they still have not processed my refill. I have called more than 5 times and waited a total of almost 2 hours on the phone. I’ve been 28, 15, and 12 in queue: their callback system does not work and they don’t return messages.Their phone system is apparently not working properly. I have started rationing my thyroid medication because I only have 5 days left and it usually takes them 10 days to fill the prescription. This is a quality of care issue for me, I don’t have a thyroid. Worst, they don’t really care and have offered free overnight shipping...whoopee. I usually receive my prescription overnight anyhow.

I have to have a certain prescription compounded. My doctor has been using Belmar to fill this drug and calls my prescription in to them. Twice now they have taken over one week to even fill it and it has taken several days to return my calls (I have to leave messages because they haven't answered when I called). The next time I get a refill, I'm going to ask my doctor to use a different pharmacy.

I have used them for years and was pleased, however, within the past year the customer service has circled the drain. Previously, orders shipped within days. Now, major delays in getting prescriptions filled and when I call to ask about the status, they are rude. Just spoke to Casey and her attitude sucks. They might avoid people calling if they clearly stated on the website that due to the amount of time to compound and holiday closures, there would be a delay. Instead, I was made to feel like I was bothering them. Wish my NP didn't like them so much and had another option.

I've removed my negative review, but couldn't remove my low rating, so I changed it from one to three stars. The general manager of Belmar contacted me personally and did a great deal to fix this situation. A company that is willing to admit and right their wrongs is worth reconsidering.

They have a great product but the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I dealt with them for years because they were the only game in town, so I thought. The wait times are always so long to speak with someone and if you leave a message it takes them days to call back. My physician faxed my refill to them not my new pharmacy and a WEEK later I received a text saying my script would be on file until they heard back from me. So why the horrible customer service? Maybe they think they are the only compounding pharmacy in the area for the medication I’m on - now I am with Flatirons pharmacy in Longmont and WON’T go back! They are always nice and so easy to work with. Plus they are a bit cheaper.

As a women's healthcare practitioner, I have had the pleasure of working with Belmar Pharmacy for over 20 years. Their knowledge of bioidentical hormones is exceptional. I feel confident in offering my patients several options. I can offer Belmar's one of a kind BLA tablet (designed to avoid the "first pass effect" of the liver), Belmar's SINDI Cream formulations, or a custom prescription that I have mixed specifically for the individual patient's needs. By doing so, I know that I'm offering the cleanest product free of parabens, petroleum, fragrance, soy, gluten and dye to my patients. Belmar has been most reliable in creating custom thyroid tablets, vaginal creams, suppositories and gels along with other prescribed medications according to my patient's needs. I highly recommend Belmar Pharmacy and their staff for insight and knowledge on the latest science and research regarding all of their compounded products.

Frequently late processing prescriptions-my most recent refill has taken 2.5 weeks (for a 30 day supply) and I have now been out of the drug for 2 weeks. Not the place to get medications filled if you value expedient and reliable service for important medications.

Slight delay with getting my formula processed a couple times, so I try to reorder earlier now. What is going on? A new prescription was called in for me 4 days ago, and I have heard nothing. You cannot reach the pharmacy by phone unless you have a prescription number, so I've sent several emails, but get no replies. I even sent a text last night, still nothing. This doesn't work. My pills, that I need to take nightly, are almost gone. So today I've searched for a new place. Bye bye, Belmar. I'm disappointed. ***I'm amending this to say they finally called me the day I wrote this review, but I've already had the prescription called in to a different place.

Belmar can't get it right. Long story but the Manager Julie was not apologetic for all the problems I have had with them, and then hung up on me. I'll never do business with them again. I'm also reversing the credit card charges for the service I did not get.

My doctor sent in my prescription. They called me and left a message to let me know that they received and said to call them "if you need to talk to us." So I figured I didn't have to call. After two weeks no prescrition still in my mailbox. So I called them and they informed me that I should have called them to activate my prescription and give my billing info. So they tooj my billing info and told me I should receive my pills in a couple days. A week and a half later still nothing. Called back again to inquire and they told me that my prescrition was never filled. At that point I gave up and just told them to forget about it. It's a month after my prescription was sent to them. Obviously people who work here have major problems when it comes to filling new prescriptions... This shouldn't be so difficult.

Amazing personalized services. They specialize in bio-identical hormones and custom made drugs to avoid allergies to common fillers. If you have special pharmaceutical needs this is the place to go. They ship products all over the US so you don't need to be local to get their great services.

I spoke with a pharmacist on Friday after determining that the prescription I called in for refills on Aug 7th, and later confirmed was filled (via automated system) and sent (also via IVR system) was never filled. She confirmed the drugs were in stock, and agreed to ship overnight as I had already missed two doses. DUE to FURTHER ERRORS this was not shipped as promised until yesterday, and now I will have missed 5 doses by the time it arrives. I am on another med that responds synergistically, and missed doses cause a big problem. I have been a client of Belmar for years and always found the service to be so outstanding that I have recommended it to many people over similar, closer/ in-state pharmacies. No more. The changeover of their IVR phone system has been managed terribly. Using this as an excuse is ALSO unthinkable. As someone in the medical information systems business, it is unthinkable that a company would changeover a critical system without redundancies and automated error detection for exactly this kind of problem. As the pharmacist mentioned I am the 3rd person whose refill was confirmed as missed, I only hope that there are no patients whose missed doses are potentially life threatening out there and also undetected by this system. No one is going to wait when the call queue is "54 callers" -- I had the luxury of setting a timer to call at exactly 9 am when the pharmacy opened. (Are there no temporary staff that could be hired to help answer calls?) What is the error detection algorithm being used? Was the vendor notified of these errors immediately so they could review why the system misclassified them and correct the error? Belmar as well as the system vendor should be held responsible and liable for any medical consequences. If Belmar was sincere about rectifying the error, might I suggest filling it same day and shipping Delta Dash same day, so patients miss one less dose? Shame on them.

Called last week in order to pick up my Rx on Friday 3/8/2019. I was told the pharmacy closed at 2:00pm! Specifically! I arrived at 1:30 to find it closed at 1:00pm! ..Extremely disappointed! Im leaving town for the week and won't have the medication I was prescribed.

As a physician in the community, I have had multiple errors in prescriptions for patients, then am met with tone deaf pharmacist when trying to correct issues. My patients deserve better, thus my business will go else where. It is highly unfortunate as Belmar used to be the go to pharmacy. I hope they can turn things around.

*One extra star awarded for past satisfaction. In the past, I have received consistent, timely service and a reliable product by mail, with verbal confirmation. However, a refill called in a couple of weeks ago has seemed to drop into a void, and I have thus run out of medication for several days. I've left messages and been unable to get through to a human, and not entirely sure the order is not lost, though the computerized voice says "in process." Whatever software "upgrade" has been undertaken seems to not be working, and perhaps consider returning to old system?

Just awful. Presription has been over 2 weeks now, can't speak with someone because their phone routing system is not working, but they can leave a message that emails receive a "quick response within 24 hours." Guess what, 48 hours later no response. Crazy.
