I would give them no stars if I could. Customer service is horrible. I had 3 people not do their job and I had to do it for them, so I could get something that I had paid for, yet they gave me the wrong thing. I had to find it myself because they were too lazy to actually look, they assumed they didn’t have any or just didn’t care. Every time I go in this store I experience terrible customer service. I blame management for letting their employees act like this. It is obvious they need some training. I will not be going back.

This place is horrible they have rodent problems for one, second the people that work there are super rude and dismissive. I would give this place zero stars if their really was such a thing, plus the managers that work there are rude, they really don't care at all about their customers all they do care about is the fact that their store is in trouble because of Walmart coming in. Also when I walked in they had stuff scattered all over the store, don't bother even shopping here for a specific item because they will not have it I'm telling you this place sucks.

I hate this place. Every time I go in there is less and less products on the shelves. The stuff they do have though is way over priced and poor quality. It never has what I'm looking for and I just end up going to Walgreens instead. From what I hear they have a new GM and this man is running our only department store into the ground. All I can say to that is thank you sir for expediting the need for a Walmart. Save yourself the trouble and head ache and just go to Walgreens

The lack of any kind of basic electronics department is truly amazing it is missing the basic. Need a charger for your phone the local gas station has a larger selection. Pretty sad

Bought my wife a watch there, the numbers came off after 2 weeks. They would not take back because I didn't have original packaging. I asked them to look up the receipt as I am a rewards customer, they would not do so. So Kmart, I have a policy also.... You don't stand behind your products, I won't purchase anything from you. Good bye.

Huge store, pharmacy, groceries, clothing, hardware, home goods, appliances whatever you might need. Staff is not very friendly. There is a garden center that usually has great plants.

My mom signed up for a sears credit card and we understood based on what we were told we would get twenty dollars off the purchase. After ringing out we looked at the receipt that didn't happen. The lady that helped us didn't explain it right. We have had a problem every time we go there. A manager did come and fix that, but their employees need to be trained correctly. The manager and another girl were very understanding why we were upset.

Their timing is ok, most of the time it's a 30 to 40 minute wait. The pharmacist there is very nice. My biggest problem is that every month I hand in my RX paper, wait some time, and then finally get called to the counter, only to have to tell them which insurance to bill for which med; and it happens every month, once we spend 10 minutes getting that straightened out, I still have to wait for them to fill it. One thing I've learned over the years though, pick a pharmacy and stick with it... if you're always bouncing back and forth, it looks bad to your doctor, and you won't always be able to get your medicines on the days you need them. So I'll give them another month or 2, but if they don't fix it, I'll probably try Walgreens

Price tags not on individual merchandise in their garden dept. Price tags on shelves for these items displayed two price figures lower and most high. No way to determine the cost of anything.

This place needs 0 stars. Management is obviously non-existent. Have been going to Tehachapi Kmart for years, only cause I didn't want to run to Bakersfield. They are usually understocked and understaffed. Their prices are getting ridiculous. I went this morning, they didn't have half of what I needed. Some of the workers act like everyone is a thief. The cashier, one of only two that is, was RUDE. She needs to be fired. Now all of a sudden, I don't get my rewards like I should when presenting my members card. She screwed up the whole transaction. We had to take all of our items to another register to scan everything. Then, the machine screwed up. I asked the cashier a question and she completely ignored me. I am glad Walmart is coming.

Kmart does not have enough stuff for school projects. This is a small town and you would think they would get stuff like this. Their prices are out of control but they can do that because it's our only store. Sad to see that they have their prices so high. It's K-Mart, it should have K-Mart prices. When Wal-Mart shows up I think they may be out of business.

Just want to say if you are shopping at this store, make sure you check your items one by one as it is being rung up. The merchandize are priced incorrecrly. The bin says $7 and they charged me $14.. one of the managers checked and she said well its for the 2 bins, then i told her well where are those because I want to get that deal, then another manager came back and told me that its for one single bin..did not even bother to help me find that deal, shady store to do business with. Also as O checked my receipt i bought 8 cars toys that is supposedly worth $1.99 so all 4 rung up same price and 4 charged me $2.99... my kids had already opened up the boxes and threw the box in the trash i would say i had to go back twice at this store to fix their error. ...they would not want to help me without the boxes... on top of of all of these they charged me twice for a pack of straw...omg the worst in store shopoing ever...i shopped at a 3rd world country bedore and they are more accurate than this store... I will definitely NOT be going back to this store... they wasted an hour of my life. Oh and I was waiting for my husband to return some stuff, there was this rude employee of kmart standing at the door just being rude.. two ladies came out the door and the alarm went off..one of them was an old lady only had papaer towels and napkins and the other lady was holding a big toy...omg i was so embarasses for the two lady when the alarm wenr off this kmart employee yelled out to them and said something like OH YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO THE REGISTER..the old lady said she only have paper towels...and these rude kmart employee yelled out well you still need tk go back to the register...wow..how stupid and rude can you be? if i was the manager i would fire this rude employee..it is so unacceptable to treat a customer that way...

I shop at kmart often.. I do not agree with their 30 day return policy.. If you have a receipt you should have 90 days (like target) or at least 60. I was 2 days late and they would not let me return items.

A dying breed of store, thankfully. The only reason this place survives is the lack of any competitor in town. The staff are usually friendly, but the quality of products, the mediocre prices, the very dirty old store, combined with the slowest checkout lines I've ever encountered make every trip here miserable. It's rare that I would rather go to Walmart, but I look forward to it being in town.
