Was near where I stayed- nice, clean for the most part, with cheap bargain deals. I like the place cause it's close and covenient, and the fact it has plenty of parking within the shopping plaza(?) And multiple entree/exits to said parking as well. Sometimes the place is pretty packed, but it's to be expected. The lines can be quite long, but it does move fast. There were only a dozen or so experience where I had to wait in line for longer than 5 mins, otherwise it's quite seamless.

Prices aren't bad here. If there is a sale then you can get a pretty good deal. Some of the prices are more expensive here. If I am nearby and am in need of something, I'll come here. Otherwise, I'll shop at other places with better deals.

I'm going to give it a 3 start today the lines were really long even though it another cashier opened up for me not being able to stand for long periods of time it would it was just too long of a wait not only that FoodMaxx used to be in a place you could have forward it's gotten to be really expensive to me over the last year I think this particular store is a little higher than they had their other stores personally to being kind of a low-income neighborhood is really high

Cheaper than normal-cost grocery stores, but still with a solid selection of products. High-quality vegetables, and even some organic produce available too. They have all the mainstream products, as well as a range of spices and 'ethnic' foods. Only complaint is that the bakery section is very white-flour/white-sugar, and the cheese / egg section is kind of lackluster. Otherwise definitely recommend! Plus: it's completely unpretentious and very diverse, which I enjoy.

Great place to shop for groceries, close to where I can ride my bike to. But the only down side is the staff , they really need customers service training. I try to avoid the clerk check out line by the self check line. Even then the self check out machine is very glitchy and run by a rude person.

Of the four or five different foodmaxx I have been to over the years, this one is the best lit and organized. Generally there are nice and friendly staff that help when you ask them questions. However, there is one particular checker there who is particularly rude, and slow. She talks to friends who are standing near the check stand and gets distracted. So much that she even makes a comment on how she needs to stop talking and get back to the people in line to the other person. Despite her saying this, does not stop chatting. Overall tho, it’s a nicest foodmaxx. It’s a discount chain like food4less or foodco. Don’t expect a Safeway or sprouts type store.

Parking lot is huge but you may still experience difficult finding a spot. There's not much options at this store compared to others you may be use to but thanks to that they are able to keep their prices lower too. The place is very well kept but occasionally you may get customers leaving their Starbucks drink and what not. Lines can get very long but they usually move quickly.

Carefully inspect all produce irrespective of the packaging -- I thought prepackaged items might be safer. I bought a bin of premixed salad that ended up having wilted leaves buried within it, and a bag of red onions where all of the onions touching within the bag were rotted. Won't be buying any produce here again.

I like Food Maxx. Their simple warehouse layout, somehow seems less confusing to me than say a Safeway. I don't know why but it just does. Their baked goods are surprisingly quite delectable! And of course, lower prices is always a welcome thing.

Clean well organized grocery store, produce seemed fresh. The spacious layout is welcome making it easy to get carts throughout to store. This store layout reminds me of the old Food 4 Less, not too sure if they are associated. Lottery tickets and scratch offs are available with a vending machine up front by the exit doors.

I really don’t get the complaints—I have to think they’re either outdated or trolling. The store is large and clean and has plenty of parking. The carts are nice and big. They offer great coupons. The produce seemed as fresh as any grocery store. They have everything anyone would want, in regular brands and a wide selection. Every type of milk imaginable, including pea milk—not my speed, I’d never heard of it before and never need to again, but it’s an example of the fact that they have everything. And the prices are great. Not crazy, not too low to be true because the stuff is expired—it’s not—but basically on par with other stores when they put stuff on sale. The place was sparkling clean and fully stocked on a weekday morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were not a lot of cashiers so I can see it being slow, but it wasn’t for me. Really long hours. Recommend.

The lines are almost always long so don't go there in a hurry. Their prices are competitive with safeway and other higher priced grocery stores. Its great for everyday shopping. The location is a little obscure. You can only see ut from the freeway. Better to travel their by vehicle than bus. You have to pack your own bags so either ask the cashier or better yet bring your own. There are no hand baskets so grab a cart outside!

My experience at FoodMaxx is pleasant. The staff is curtious. The produce is beautifully colored, and the shelves are maintained property. However, their meat isn't always fresh. Chicken should not be yellow, and pork should not be brown. It is a gamble shopping for meat

There is almost always huge, winding lines and like 3 or4 checkers. The self checkout machines malfunction quite frequently, adding to the time it takes to get out of this place with your items. Carts are frequently peppered about the parking lot, as they are not brought to the front of the store by employees frequently enough. It's usually well stocked though, considering how many people are perpetually in the store

Food Max! Please be noted that your Cashier # 110136 needs a long vacation. She was exhausted, rude and very bad tempered cashier that I have ever encountered. To make long story short- I approached this cashier because she was at first register and not long line seen so I thought it will be fast. My turn came, no greeting, nothing. my baby girl grabbed a paint set from the isle by herself and I didn't get chance to see the price on the rack. So asked this girl "can you tell me the price of this?" She goes..."I don't know...." then after a big pause she added..." I have to check it then I would know " I was shocked with her answer. Then I replied " yes, that's what I want you to do for me".Then she quickly scanned and read the price for me and I told her that I wanna get that too. The whole time she was acting so mad.. as if I was her burden which I could see from her body language and face. I am still feeling guilty for going to her register, leaving other good cashiers...!!!!!
