Here we offer you the reviews of real people who purchased the services of Albertsons (Pharmacy) in the area close to California.
Currently this firm receives a score of 4.0 over 5 and that rating is based on 510 reviews.
As you can read, the average score it has is quite high, and it's based on a very large number of scores, so we can be quite sure that the rating is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to write tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Pharmacy is included in the category of Grocery store.
I couldn't find canned pie fillings.
Produce dept is fabulous! It has many organic, vegan, non gmo items!
Location by Goleta DMI is far better than location on Calle Real.
Big grocery market/supermarket. Nice sales going on all the time and has huge selections. Good place to go for ucsb students if Costco portions are too huge
I love the fast food mmmmm
Good enough grocery store, nothing special....
Good store, quite a bit of variety. The staff were nice and the produce seemed fresh.
I like the wide variety of local produce and fresh florals. Their deli is one of the best too!
Very poor customer service. I am 31 weeks pregnant and came in to buy a cake for my birthday. The employee Jaime refused to help me to get a cake from the bakery display and refused to find someone who will help. I left in tears and went to Vons where they were more than happy to help me. It's not the first time the service is so bad at this location.
Good selection of foods at low prices.
This Albertsons is great place to get all the basic grocery store items you need at a great price
Everything was convenient to find, and the checkout process was very efficient!
To many rude UCSB students. One kid almost hit my 3y/o in the parkinglot and got out of his car, ready to fight because I told him to slow down.
Great place. to shop
This is a pretty big Albertsons. When I'm looking for something the smaller grocery stores not might have this is one of two places I will go to find it.
Fast customer service and easgoing cashiers. Free parking.
Great pineapples that's all
Clean, fast well stocked and great customer service
From out of state. Denied by the cashier to buy alcohol because my boyfriend's out of state ID looked fake. Excuse me, I've worked in a college town and this has never happened to me. I'm outraged.
Great place to shop!
It is definitely pricier than a lot of grocery stores, but you'll find good quality stuff here. I especially love their bakery section where you can order and get customized cakes and cupcakes!
You get all
Most clean place in town and prices are good and i have not gotten sick from eating here.
Great, organized inventory, and awesome sale prices!
Pretty standard grocery store. Can't complain!
Close to home and good sales
Albertson is pricy If I compare it with coscto , smart and final, trader joes .I hardly buy stuff from here. I go in every time but comparing the prices , I come empty handed from the store.
Always Great.
Kid that helped me out actually walked me to both products i asked for instead of pointing. Thats customer service. He was sweeping. Stopped asked if i was all set. Then To answer my question he turned around. Kept sweeiping and killed two birds with one stone. Briskly might i add.
Needed more registers open lines were really long ..
They have Fresh Pet refrigerated dog food! The little fridge is at the end of the dog food aisle.
Decent place overall, but is very small and feels old and outdated. Not sure if it's "dirty" or not, but it seems that way (poor lighting, sloppy signage?). I'm honestly not sure if Albertsons, in general, will be around much longer. Nice to not need a loyalty card to save though!
Bla ball all
I really like this Albertson's it's only one I can find bread to make bread bowls for soups
Love it is close to my house great shopping.
The emplyees are always friendly and helpful. Meat selection and quality is very good & affordable.
Best Albertsons in the area with a huge selection.
Always great service quality items. Fresh produce always
Everything ok except the price of Avacados, need to go on sale for .88 /ea like Sprouts. 2 for $5.00 the are going to sit and go bad.
Fresh and clean. A little pricier than other stores. Although they always have what you need. A nice kept Albertsons
Love albertsons! My favorite grocery store!
Everything you need,great low prices.
Varied selection and even wine tasting. Customer service wasn't the friendliest, hence the four stars.
Albertsons is a great grocery store, convenient and good customer service!!!
People are so nice and helpful.....prices are pretty good
Store is well stocked with great foods and beautiful baked goods...
Good selection. Helpful staff, Sunday morning's store manager very engaged in customer relations. Nice looking with new displays close to UCSB & Isla Vista store seems set up for & caters to that group of people. Getting better all the time
There's always long lines, cashier's aren't that attentive, lack of stock on common items
It's close by so it'll do. The produce goes bad really fast.
Good assortment of groceries and fresh produce. Prices are competitive but not particularly cheap.
The best fried chicken ever! For our special occasion brunch with fried chicken and waffles .. The team in the deli came through with the freshest, crisp, delicious fried chicken for 100 guests! Thank you!!!
A little pricey compared to other local supermarkets, but clean, well stocked, and there lines have never been too long when I've been there. Reasonable, but not huge, car parking.
This Albertsons is okay if I need something in a hurry. But under normal shopping circumstances I would recommend the other Albertsons, Vons, Smart and Final or Sprouts. The store is never that clean with random trash stuffed here and there in the isles. The place gets heavily visited by the college crowd which probably contributes to this too some extent. The staff have been fine whenever I go there but the cleanliness is what drives me elsewhere.
cheap and fresh but not as divers as COSCO
This is your standard fare grocery store. Nothing fancy, decent prices. They have a deli and bakery. Baked goods are usually better than expected for a grocery store. There is a restroom for customers. Lines can get long when UCSB is in session. Open until at least midnight.
Their meat department is pretty terrible. They frequently run out of common meats (ground beef, ribeye, ground chicken).
Clean and has prunes. 5 stars
Good selection. Needs bulk bins.
Beautiful store.
On June 30, 2019 my husband and I were in your #27 Goleta store. My husband went to the Deli to have two sandwiches made. The deli employee was by herself and my husband asked her if she was going to be too busy to make our sandwiches. In a very sarcastic reply, she said "why wouldn't I?" My husband asked a second employee for the Manager, but the second employee called a third employee to come help in the Deli because there were several people in line. The new employee, Sam made our sandwiches and they were excellent and so was his service. The sarcastic employee, Tina needs additional training in customer service. Sam's excellent service is the only reason I gave one star. Tina gets no stars.
Has everything you might need & close to all else
Store wasn't well stocked
Pricey and the new look is a pain in the ass
So disappointed in the "new" store! 5 items i buy a lot are not being stocked anymore. They don't carry cube steak anymore and refuse to make one for me (run it through the tenderizer) Lines are long and new staff is fake friendly not like everyone they let go who knew my name. i am still upset they let go all of the special needs baggers who were also friendly and needed those jobs! They also raised the prices on many things. Can't say i care to spend my money there any longer. Sprouts is my new favorite store!
Great selection and sales. Really close to UCSB campus. Friendly staff, sometimes flirty, especially at the "meat" counter.
This is one of the larger stores in the Goleta and Santa Barbara metropolitan area, and therefore there are more products and produce offering than the other Albertsons stores. That's a plus! A minus is that Albertsons store lay-outs seem to be different from store to store, making it challenging and time-consuming for customers to find the needed items when one is not familiar with a particular store.
Has better prices than the one near campus.
We love this store. We shopped here Wednesday in Santa Barbara because it is conveniently close to Costco , Home Depot and Kmart
Loved it
Best Goleta Grocery Store-- this store is large and it has the items I need that I can't get at Trader Joe's or Costco. They have a lot of organic options but also the basic choices too. There are also many things that cater to the UCSB crowd.
I like this one. Its has the good meat priced im looking for.
You have to be very careful when shopping here. We've noticed expired diary items on the shelves, and every time we've gone for milk there are few items that don't expire within the upcoming week. I don't want to shop at a grocery store where they leave expired items or items nearly expired on the shelf. It's just not right. Unfortunately, even with the horrific lines it's the most convenient option for us.
Standard grocery store. Neither spectacular nor horrible. There is a Starbucks inside.
the trump years have started. the store doesn't care about foreigners. wouldn't sell alcohol to us because we are foreigners. never again!
I said I wouldn't recommend a cake again, and I am following through now. DO NOT GET A CAKE HERE! I tried one more time since this Albertsons is so close to my home, to get my husband his 25th birthday cake, I could tell the young man takin my order was confused, however we filled out a cake sheet and everything was written down correctly, for color Scheme I pointed to a cake on display a smaller one (originally I wanted a 1/4 sheet, display was a 1/8) poor guy was so confused he even ran out too my car to say "the one on display is a different size than you want" I tired to explain one more time I didn't not want an 1/8 I wanted 1/4. I pick it up for the party and it is a bite size cake 1/8, the one on display I am so disappointed did not have the filling (which my husband was mosh excited for) and was NOT the correct size. This needed to feed 15 grown men, it fed about 5. He did not give me a carbon copy, so I didn't know what to do about it and trying to explain what was wrong would've probably confused and then ruined the poor guys day. (Same guy when I picked it up) . . Not looking for a refund, just saying if this was for my sons first birthday, and if my husbsand wasn't such an easy going guy as he is, I wouldn't be so lenient. By the way tried calling for 2 days in a row to complain no answer from the front desk or bakery, guess this is the only way I can get it off my chest. VERY DISAPOINTED. That young man should NOT be in charge of taking cake orders.
Standard large grocery store. Decent bakery, you can get decently priced sandwiches and a nice beer selection. The potato wedges are addictive. It's super close to Isla Vista so they're pretty nuts about carding you. I'm way too old to get carded so it's just annoying.
Easy parking, clean, well lit store, was able to get in and out quickly. Staff was polite. Reasonable prices and good selection. Overall very convenient and located alongside my usual routine drive. Will be shopping here again. They can also do special orders if you are looking for special or hard to find items.
You have to fight your way through a sea of College students. then you have to brave the lines which can be very long due to the lack of checkers.
The cashier was quite disrespectful to me, and the people in line before me.
I’m literally dying bc my life is stupid and I needed medicine and they were closed half an hour before midnight— even though it says they’re open until midnight. And then I ran out of gas bc I had to drive there. Please end my life.
The prices are higher than vons and no mobile coupons. Store caters to college students.
Very good place for food shopping.
Good place to buy groceries, i like fruits and vegetables here as they are fresh most of the time. Only issue is parking during busy hours and hard to find emloyee help while shopping.
Good
i am happy to but food there
Not many options for groceries near UCSB, but they do have great prices if you hunt for discounts. I can live off of ~$20-25 each week price hunting.
Aight place. If you live in UCSB, you'd probably need a car!
There was a scuffle in one of the isles.
Good place alot of students
Not too bad for a grocery store. Location is very convenient as it's immediately adjacent to a very large shopping center. Store is usually very busy. Prices are ok. Parking can be a challenge and the lot fills up fast.
Always packed lines. Three's a crowd (or more) all day everyday. The store is ok and the workers aren't bad. There's just 2 or 3 checkers at most, seemingly all the time.
It's terrible since its been Vons albertsons
Albertsons is more expensive than other retailers, but it has a wider variety of items and products. It is a one stop shop.
Well stocked, well laid out. Somewhat crowded floors, lots of students at some times. Meat and Produce sections are well staffed and provisioned. The deli has good service, the best deal is their Friday Fivers. Overall, a weekly shopping experience for the family, and the changes I would like to see are fairly minor.
It is just so packed there!!
Very nice staff.
They never seem to carry what I need and there are always long lines. I shop there purely for the convenience as it is near my home.
Long lines. Hard to find stuff. No good bread. They don't treat their employees very well. No pharmacy at this location. I go here for a few things that others don't carry, such as canned pineapple.
I live in Isla Vista at the dorms and this is my go to place to shop. It's very close to the student housing in Isla Vista and the prices are reasonable. Generally speaking, the staff has been very friendly. I will continue shopping here as long as I live close by.
Wouldn't let me buy alcohol
Some cashiers, they are just having bad days I think. But the people at Fish and at Cheese sections are angels indeed.
I'll always love Albertsons. They keep the food fresh and the prices low
I am glad finding an approvement from my earlier visits to your store. It always had an odour of food going bad emenating around. The deli disk was an abonination same. As ready made chicken on the hot water table where it also smelled. I have decided to visit again hoping for continued upkeep.
Dumb old lady that don't know what she is doing. Never shopping there again
I ordered a sandwich from the deli, the lady told me they didn't have sour dough bread...... Seriously? I don't mind if people are busy working and they don't see you waiting. However when they are socializing unaware you are there find it irritating. Decent sandwich.
Not as much of a selection as other grocery stores, and you can expect long lines to check out. However, workers are very helpful and friendly
Great store, good for quick in and out,has everything you could possibly need!!!
The poor guy working at the deli, had one of the others tell him she was sick and walked away, with customers waiting, he apologized for the wait, and I'll add if he made the fried and habanero chicken it was really good, and the potato wedges were crispy, so shout out to him, sorry I didn't get his name, but it's refreshing to Gerry friendly customer service these days. 2/22/19 @6:30 pm
Nice place with lot of options for vegetables and wine
It's very organized. Easy to find evening.
Nice and clean market. It is located next to UCSB so you'll run into alot college kids. The quality from the produce is pretty good and the meat is not bad either. Overall, it's a good grocery store but the lines can get long...
Lines can be long because of the proximity of IV, but that makes for good scenery.
I wish they had more checkers. I'm still not into auto check out
Always long line at the checkout. It doesn't matter when I come.
This Albertsons is average at best! It's always busy being the college is right by it. The grocery store itself is self explanatory... it's Albertsons. No personal check out anymore there!
Food over a month past it's sell by date in the refrigerator section. One of the items was completely covered in green mold. I told a store employee and they replied "thank you". A week later I returned and there were still items in the same place a month past their sell by date. The meat/fish counter frequently smells of ammonia (decomposition). Baggers do not understand physics AT ALL! Twice I have had a loaf of bread placed on the bottom of my bag and a heavy item such as a head of cabbage or bottle of juice placed on top of it. I cannot believe Albertsons Corporate allows this place to operate this way. A message to the store manager: YOU NEED TO VISIT THE LOMPOC AND ORCUTT STORES TO SEE HOW YOUR STORE SHOULD BE RUN. YOURS IS A DISGRACE!
Good Market. Busy with ucsb students.
The cashier doesn't know how her own rewards program works and never lets me put in my phone number for the gas reward points or the for the coupons you can download through the app.
Horrible lines! Worth driving out of your way to avoid.
Located next to Costco. The west side of this shopping center is a bit dark at night time. Found a Starbucks nestled in the front of the store.
Albertsons has everything that you need. It's a big store with fresh produce and a big meat selection.
Great grocery store
Josh was so helpful, what a gentleman! Perfect costumer service
Very large store. Bakery, Starbucks, full meat, produce sections. Easy parking with a large lot. The beer selection is great! Frequented by the college crowd but good service. Located in a shopping center with a couple restaurants etc.
The Bakery opens at 8am. That information is not available online.
Great location! Very close to our daughter's apartment. Clean store and friendly employees!
A little pricey compared to other area grocers, except for their meat counter. It's always the best price for steaks, beef, chicken, or pork.
I found everything I was looking for at very reasonable prices. I love this place
Nice small supermarket, with a good selection of groceries.
This place is a normal supermarket until I found that they don't sell nutella with breadstick!!! I was so disappointed!
Happy with the meat n produce but not interested in their deli whatsoever. Probably the worst fried chicken I've ever had. Employees are cool as far as I've seen. Great location.
This place not well managed. Long lines to check out.
Need more checkers
A brother of Safeway, this place never disappointed us during our stay at Goleta. It had fresh dairy, vegetables all the time. The store was accessible and is located at nice place. One can easily see this place at traffic. The staff of the store is nice and polite. They are willing to help all the time and are super courteous.
This place is weird. I get my groceries here because it is one of the closest grocery stores to UCSB's campus and convenient if you take the bus. Otherwise, I would not recommend going here. The stuff is pretty overpriced but that's a Santa Barbara thing. However, this location always has expired food on the shelves! I can't even count how many times I have gotten home with something and then seen that's it's been expired for weeks or even months!! On top of that, the baggers always crush my stuff. The cashiers go so fast that it is impossible to bag it yourself without holding up the line. But for real, they will put eggs, bananas, and bread at the bottom of the bag and then put cans on top of it??? Not only does it crush my things but it makes the bags harder to carry and they hold less stuff. Pretty whack
Very clean location, looks especially nice after the remodel. The emphasis on fresh and organic food make not only for a pleasant atmosphere but a pleasant shopping experience. Employees are friendly and knowledgable about the store in general. Good selection, especially compared to the other local Albertsons store!
Good, well stocked grocery store. Aisles a little too narrow, but not awful.
I always love shopping here.
People friendly but no one could tell me where the dog food was. FYI, aisle #8
Cool thanks again
Deli is very fast and the food is delicious
Every time I go into this store the lines are pouring into the isles. There should be sufficient staff for the business. I will never again shop at this grocery store.
Helpful employees, clean and well stocked store
It Albertsons. Avoid Thu-Sat unless you want long lines of kids with suitcases of cheap beer
Can find anything that I need
Great selection and prices, friendly staff, always a good choice for shopping.
Great place to shop!
It's nice to be able to find what u are looking for.
Too expensive
Common grocery store for UCSB students, faculty, and staff Friendly employees Easy to find aisles The checkout stands move fairly quickly If there are more than 3 maybe 4 (depends on how many items each customer is buying) a new check out stand will become available Especially enjoy the red box located outside this location However the location itself is dimly lit and is not on the main street
Good selection. Pretty clean. Decent sales. Lines are not too long.
Terribly overpriced for the area. I think they jack up their prices because it's the most convenient supermarket for UCSB students to get to.
This Albertsons is pretty nice and has a good selection of products at good prices. The fresh baked cookies are delicious.
It's local and convenient. Just check the prices they seem really pricey when financial aid hits
Great service nice employees i give it a 10 out of 10
True SUPERmarket boasting farm fresh fruits and vegetables, oven baked bread, pastries and donuts, an abundance of plants and flowers, not to mention an amazing selection of local wines and craft beers. Even a Starbucks inside to boot.
Most of what you want, a bit expensive but a good sortiment, don't go there in late afternoon, it gets crowded
Great service!!!!! Michael K was our checker, he was awesome, very funny and friendly!
